Myilicia was the best doula I could ever imagine. She was all I would want in a doula and then some. From the original meeting, she was friendly and personable. I felt like I had known her for months! I originally thought I had waited too late to hire a doula, as I was 37 weeks along, but she reassured me, it wasn't too late. I had a surprise labor, as I went into labor two weeks prior than my scheduled induction date, and Myilicia was by my side! She even left a baby shower to be there. She listened to my wishes for the labor as well as delivered on promises. I wished I had met her 10 years prior to help me with my first!

Myilicia was an incredible help to me during and after the birth of my son. This was my second pregnancy, but it had been 7 years so I was in need of support. Myilicia provided calm and practical advice to me during my labor and during postpartum. While my husband was my support system, Myilicia helped us to stay focused on what we needed to do for the baby. She helped me while we tried to latch on for the first time which can be difficult.

There are so many aspects of pregnancy and childbirth, and it can be overwhelming. Myilicia helped my husband and me stay focused and calm. She was informative and supportive. It was genuinely a gift to have her with us during the birth of my son.
