Post a testimonial for Michelle Lloyd
My husband and I are so grateful for the help Michelle provided our family. Michelle was a confident, reassuring presence and just a joy to have around. Her service was gifted to us by grandparents and it was maybe the best gift we have ever received. There’s nothing better than sleep during the stressful days of life with a newborn. She not only cared for our baby and helped get him sleeping through the night, but also did laundry and dishes when the baby slept which was a huge blessing. Our older children really bonded with Michelle and love her as well. This was our 4th baby and first time using any help, but now I’m not sure how we did it without Michelle and would highly recommend her care to any expecting mom!
I am so appreciative of Michelle's support with sleep coaching for my 6 month old daughter. I live in Virginia, but filled out an inquiry on her website to see if she'd be willing to work with me remotely. We were able to work together by phone which was really wonderful. After an initial phone consultation, Michelle emailed me a sleep/feeding schedule and specific recommendations that were tailored to my daughter. Over the past few months, I had tried reading books and articles about sleep training, but it was invaluable to me to have someone like Michelle that I could call or text with questions or discuss nuances that were specific to my child. Her approach was gentle, empowering, and supportive to me as a first time Mom. My husband and I are so grateful that with Michelle's support our daughter is sleeping through the night and doing so well. The education she provided helped us to consider things we had not thought about and made us feel like we have a routine in place that works for our family. I highly recommend Michelle to anyone needing support with their little one - no matter how big or small the need!
When Michelle came to my home, I had a list of questions that I wanted answers to. I felt so overwhelmed with my new 6 week old that I felt like I was failing in many areas and was second guessing all the information that I was reading, that friends were telling me, etc. Michelle’s class was exactly what I needed to put all of my anxiety to rest. She is incredibly knowledgeable, thorough and kind. She also has a way of offering several different approaches and never shames you or makes you feel badly. Her reassuring tone and calming demeanor always lead from a point of what works for your baby since babies are not one size fits all. Michelle gives you so much helpful information, many things I learned for the very first time, after having spent years around newborns and infants. By the end of the class, I pulled out my phone to ask her my questions and realized that every single one of them had been answered! From car seats, to bath time, to showing me exactly how to use each of my new baby carriers (those things are confusing!) she left me with a wealth of information that I am forever grateful for.
You can tell that she has a genuine love for infants and my baby girl met her and instantly felt at peace, which was evident by her big smiles. I have already told friends who are expecting or have newborns about this class — it’s a worthwhile investment in peace of mind and giving yourself the best foot forward when it comes to parenting your new little love.
I have known Michelle Lloyd for 4 months, the time frame since my youngest son has been born. During this period of time, Michelle has been an unbelievable contact and source of information for me as a young mom. When my youngest son was born, he was experiencing some very fussy days. Michelle was recommended to me through a mutual friend, and she immediately began to help me go through a list of things that could be causing his fussiness and gave me various ideas of things to try in order to help him. She was available to me for contact day or night and was a huge source of encouragement me through some very trying days.
A few weeks later I reached back out to her for help with my two year old who was struggling with bedtime and getting adequate amount of sleep. She told me exactly what to try. We implemented her plan, and within just a few short days, he was going to bed very easily and sleeping through the night. Our entire evenings as a family have changed for the better. They are much more peaceful, and our whole household is functioning much better because of it.
Michelle always assured me that she would stick with me until we found something that worked for each of our situations. If one method didn’t work, she would give me other suggestions.
Michelle doesn’t view her position as just a job. She truly cares about helping new and young moms. She reaches out regularly just to check in and see how things are going. Had I not been introduced to Michelle a few months ago, I would be a much more tired momma on the brink of insanity many days. I’m so incredibly grateful for her!
I highly recommend Michelle in her endeavors to work with families with small children. Her expertise, advise, encouragement, compassion, and kindness are truly invaluable.
