Kacey was such a blessing to have apart of my birth story! She was attentive and kind and gave me the space I needed, the massages and pressure I needed before and during active labor, she absolutely help make my home birth peaceful and warm and helped in so many ways to put into words. Whatever we needed she was there and ready to serve our family. She was calm and an encouraging word or just silent and present and a gentle hand or holding my water reminding me to hydrate. I couldn't have picked a better birth team. Everyone had their role and God used them for my redemption story. I had been in prodromal labor for weeks and at 41 weeks almost to a 4 and Kacey massaged with guidance from my midwife and while doing some homeopathics and exercises my water broke around 5:27 pm and my son was breathed down and in my arms at 7:46pm. My incredible team had me and baby ready and snuggled on our couch by 9 if not sooner and our home back in order. She texted me and checked up on me and was there if I needed anything. She's more than a doula, she's a friend who loves your babies like her own.
