Naima has helped me birth two babies now. I was blessed to meet her at a child birthing class a few years ago where she taught my spouse and I. She is extremely comforting and has become my greatest advocate. Naima is knowledgeable and she will make sure you know all your options before your little one arrives. I can truly say both of my births were smooth and fast because I listened to my amazing Doula. Thank you so much for all you do!

I am so grateful to have had Niama as my doula. She made this first time mom feel comfortable and honored my wishes throughout. She was also careful to include my partner in the process and was available to us before, during, and after delivery. I could not have asked for a better coach. Love her and so glad we got to welcome our little one in the world with her by our side.

Naima was amazing! As first time parents, we needed someone that we could trust and help us through our high risk pregnancy journey into earth side birth of our baby boy. My husband and I greatly appreciate her knowledge about labor and delivery. She was consistent with conducting check ins and she guided us through a smooth delivery experience. What I love most about Naima's services is her postpartum wellness check ins days after delivery. Highly, highly recommend!!!

Naima has been everything to us during our pregnancy, birth, and postpartum journey! Before pregnancy, I only had a vague idea of what a doula did. I thought of the role mainly as an advocate. After working with Naima, I now know that’s an understatement. She was that and so much more.

One of the greatest fears when expecting your first child is the fear of the unknown. Naima helped ease those fears by preparing us thoroughly for what to expect. Her deep knowledge was clear in how carefully she guided us through creating our birth plan. Beyond that, she supported me with yoga exercises to alleviate my back pain, set up a breathwork session to prepare for labor, and a breastfeeding class that was truly invaluable.

Our labor and delivery began with challenges, but Naima was a calm, steady, and supportive presence throughout the entire 48-hour journey of bringing our daughter into the world. In the end, we didn’t just hire a doula; we gained a family member. Words will never be enough to express our gratitude for Naima!

My experience with Naima was truly amazing! Being a young parent that I am I had a lot of questions at all hours of the night and Naima made sure that I had a answer for every question. During my labor I was in so much pain but the way she brought the essentials oils and the hand held fan made the pain of labor linger away. She is very supporting and loving I'm so blessed we got her for a Doula.

When I got pregnant, it was very important to me to have not only a doula, but a Black doula. I needed someone who understood the reality of Black women and babies having a higher mortality rate at birth.

Naima made sure both me and my husband felt supported and comfortable my entire pregnancy, labor, birth and postpartum. She answered our questions, she listened to our desires and dreams, she helped us create our birth preferences. During labor she provided the best counter pressure, showed my husband how to support me physically, she set the mood in the room with dim lights and essential oils. I didn't have to worry about the nurses asking me about an epidural because she made it clear to them I didn't want one (lol). She encouraged me as I pushed, checked my placenta to make sure it was fully out, she hugged me and quietly slipped away and let us take in our first moments has a new family.

My husband said two things stand out to him: when he called her to let her know I was in labor he could hear the excitement in her voice as she told us to head to the hospital and the hug she gave him after we welcomed our daughter.

Naima is family to us. I could go on and on about her but her spirit is so full of joy and love. Being a doula is so much more than a profession to her. It's a labor of love that she does so joyfully. I'm so thankful she was apart of our birth story. It was the most perfect day because of the role she played.

Naima is an amazing woman and doula. I found her in my 8 month (I was very late to the doula party). She reassured me and walked me through every step of the process. She was professional, punctual, and kind. I feel blessed that she came into my life and I intend to use her for any future births. I appreciate that she also includes me in postpartum support groups and outings. My husband and I were thrilled to work with Naima!

My Husband and I were blessed with Naima by my brother-in-law. Her wonderful sprit was everything for me. She immediately began providing us with info that I'd longed for but had difficult time finding on my own. She sent exercises to help prepare my body, medtaions to help prepare my mind and advised that I continue Chiropractic care.

Nothing helped prepare us more that the virtual Childbirth class she had us both attend. The class taught us EVERYTHING about each birthing and induction method, medications administered and all the pros and cons of each. I loved the class so much I took it twice before I gave birth. I then knew exactly what I wanted for myself and my baby and wrote my Birth Plan.

At my office visit in week 39, my Midwife advised that we'd be discussing induction options at my next visit. I texted Naima, she immediately provided me with activities to naturally induce my labor. I did exactly as she advised on the day I turned 40 weeks and the contractions started almost immediately!

The next morning Naima came to our home and coached us through each contraction and even showed my husband exactly how to assist me as I was in early labor. In those moments she taught me how to labor. She told us exactly when to head to the hospital. She stayed in contact with my husband via phone and text. Giving advice and reminding us of our options to get our little one earth-side as safely.

I labored and jammed to some of my favorite tunes until my little bundle of joy arrived safe and sound. Apparently unmedicated natural births are rare because the hospital staff were in awe of me. I owe it Naima for all of her time and dedication she gave teaching myself and my husband how to handle childbirth. Because of her I was able to let go of my fears and worries and thoroughly enjoy giving birth to my daughter. I wouldn't change a thing about my birthing experience.

Naima was my doula when I gave birth to my rainbow baby.  I went back and forth about whether or not I wanted a doula, but I am a so happy I made the decision to reach out to her.  Even though, she came on at the last minute, she was knowledgeable about giving birth, helped to calm my fears, and shared resources with me to make my labor easier.  I truly had a pleasant birthing experience because of Naima.  I highly recommend you contact her immediately!

Naima was incredibly supportive near the end of my pregnancy when I was having back pain and difficulty with how my baby was positioned. She took the time to demonstrate and support me through helpful movements and stretches, involving my partner as well throughout. She also consulted with me on how to use a peanut ball in labor, something that proved incredibly beneficial for my labor. Naima is a kind, gentle, and supportive person and I was incredibly blessed to have her support in my pregnancy. I cannot recommend her services enough!

Naima helped make my home birth such a relaxed, memorable experience. With our first meeting, she took notes, asked what I wanted and how I pictured my birth. She had resources and brought tools to assist with preparing for labor. Naima is very outspoken and constantly affirms you throughout the process. For postpartum, she provided me with multiple healing resources. I will definitely have her as my Doula again for future births.
