Volunteer Coordinator for NAPS Doulas On my journey to becoming a prenatal yoga teacher, I discovered the profound impact of empowering my students to connect with their inner wisdom, intuition, and strength. I believe that we are all born with the innate tools we need to navigate life’s challenges, yet sometimes we need reassurance to trust our instincts. It is a true honor to witness this rite of passage and to support birthing individuals as they tap into their own strength and courage, preparing for the transformative journey of parenthood. As a birth doula, my mission is to provide unwavering support—physically, emotionally, and informationally—so that expectant parents feel fully informed and confident in their choices. I am committed to advocating for their needs and ensuring they have a positive, empowering birth experience that aligns with their vision of parenthood.
I offer several birth support packages, each designed to provide comprehensive, individualized care. All packages include: -3 prenatal visits to explore early labor, your birth vision, and postpartum care. -Ongoing support via phone, email, or Zoom to address any questions or concerns. -On-call availability starting at week 37 of your pregnancy. -Continuous in-person support during labor and for 2 hours following birth. -2 postpartum follow-up visits to ensure you feel supported as you transition into parenthood. Postpartum Daytime Support: - Up to 4 hours: $200* - Up to 5.5 hours: $250* - Up to 8 hours: $325* - Up to 10 hours: $375* Postpartum Nighttime Support: - $75/hr* with a 4-hour minimum *Note: All prices are subject to a 10.35% tax, which is not included. Hiring Amanda as our birth doula was one of the best decisions we made. She helped us navigate our first time giving birth (vaginally and unmedicated) - by suggesting comfortable positions, offering supplies to help with the pain, and most importantly, offering words of encouragement throughout the whole process. She was with us from early labor through the birth of our child, and even to an additional trip to the hospital (after a birth center delivery) to get my stitches. During that time, she held my hand and pet my head as I got stitched up - it was a sweet moment that I will never forget. We loved having her there for the birth of our child and will surely hire her again if the opportunity arises. Thank you Amanda, we will never forget the love and support you provided us with through the birth of our first child.

I reached out to Amanda while pregnant with my first child. I was overwhelmed by all the information out there and the sheer amount of changes my body was going through. I needed help navigating it all. I was also nervous about labor, having not been through it before, I had no idea what to expect. I wanted to feel confident and ready for it, which led us to Amanda! I spoke to a couple doulas but immediately felt relaxed and at ease after speaking with Amanda. Her approach was supportive and understanding, she stressed the importance of my recovery postpartum which I really appreciated.
Amanda took us through all aspects of having a child: pregnancy, labor, and postpartum. I cannot imagine this journey without Amanda, we fully recommend and will work with her again for our second child.
Pregnancy is difficult enough, let alone labor & delivery and postpartum. The amount of change occurring over a 9-12 month time is daunting. You need to enlist the help and support of an expert! Amanda is that expert! Amanda is knowledgeable, kind, warm, and extremely supportive. She presents data, research, options and recommendations throughout. She gives you room to ask questions and pick what path is best for you and never judges or makes decisions for you. She is there for support and help navigating first and foremost!

Amanda is an amazing doula and I recommend her wholeheartedly to anyone looking for a doula for their birth experience.
Amanda has a background in prenatal yoga and that experience helped her to show us great exercises and stretches when I was experiencing severe sciatic pain. She has a wholistic, open minded and natural approach to the pregnancy, birth and postpartum experience. I felt so cared for during our initial chats because she really cared about my hopes, wishes, fear and desires for birth.
My labor did not go the way I planned and I was transferred from my midwives to the hospital and it was so great to have Amanda with us for that transition. There are so many reasons to be grateful for Amanda during our experience, and I couldn’t have done it without her.
