On my journey of becoming a prenatal yoga teacher, I learned how rewarding it was to empower my students, to connect with their inner wisdom, guidance, and goddess. I believe we innately have all of the tools we need from within, yet sometimes need the reassurance to go with our gut feeling. It is with honor to witness this rite of passage, while encouraging birthers to dig deep into their own strength and courage, persevering into their journey of parenthood. My aim as a birth doula is to offer continual support to expectant parents physically, emotionally and with as much information as they request so that they have a rewarding and positive birth experience.
2-3 prenatal visits, including spinning babies methods of balance Continual support for questions and concerns via phone, email or Zoom, On call from week 37 forward, Constant in person care throughout labor, 2 postpartum follow up visits. Option to add in prenatal or postpartum yoga sessions or reiki sessions at hourly rate posted on website.

Hiring Amanda as our birth doula was one of the best decisions we made. She helped us navigate our first time giving birth (vaginally and unmedicated) - by suggesting comfortable positions, offering supplies to help with the pain, and most importantly, offering words of encouragement throughout the whole process. She was with us from early labor through the birth of our child, and even to an additional trip to the hospital (after a birth center delivery) to get my stitches. During that time, she held my hand and pet my head as I got stitched up - it was a sweet moment that I will never forget. We loved having her there for the birth of our child and will surely hire her again if the opportunity arises. Thank you Amanda, we will never forget the love and support you provided us with through the birth of our first child.

I reached out to Amanda while pregnant with my first child. I was overwhelmed by all the information out there and the sheer amount of changes my body was going through. I needed help navigating it all. I was also nervous about labor, having not been through it before, I had no idea what to expect. I wanted to feel confident and ready for it, which led us to Amanda! I spoke to a couple doulas but immediately felt relaxed and at ease after speaking with Amanda. Her approach was supportive and understanding, she stressed the importance of my recovery postpartum which I really appreciated.
Amanda took us through all aspects of having a child: pregnancy, labor, and postpartum. I cannot imagine this journey without Amanda, we fully recommend and will work with her again for our second child.
Pregnancy is difficult enough, let alone labor & delivery and postpartum. The amount of change occurring over a 9-12 month time is daunting. You need to enlist the help and support of an expert! Amanda is that expert! Amanda is knowledgeable, kind, warm, and extremely supportive. She presents data, research, options and recommendations throughout. She gives you room to ask questions and pick what path is best for you and never judges or makes decisions for you. She is there for support and help navigating first and foremost!

Amanda is an amazing doula and I recommend her wholeheartedly to anyone looking for a doula for their birth experience.
Amanda has a background in prenatal yoga and that experience helped her to show us great exercises and stretches when I was experiencing severe sciatic pain. She has a wholistic, open minded and natural approach to the pregnancy, birth and postpartum experience. I felt so cared for during our initial chats because she really cared about my hopes, wishes, fear and desires for birth.
My labor did not go the way I planned and I was transferred from my midwives to the hospital and it was so great to have Amanda with us for that transition. There are so many reasons to be grateful for Amanda during our experience, and I couldn’t have done it without her.
