Hiring Melody was one of our best decisions as first time parents. Melody has a calming and reassuring presence both for the baby and us, overwhelmed and sleep deprived parents. She guided us through everything we needed to know in the first few weeks of our baby. We really loved that Melody provides data, resources (books, a network of referrals i.e lactation consultant/night doulas etc...) so that we can make our own informed decisions, never pushing us towards a specific decision (I.e breast feeding vs bottle feeding vs formula etc...) and instead making the best decision for our family.  
In addition to providing us the much needed rest, Melody was also key in supporting me through my breast feeding journey (which I would certainly have given up on without her) and teaching us skills to help us feel more confident in our ability to be parent to a new born. Melody was extremely responsive to messages in between sessions which was extremely reassuring for us to have.
We loved having Melody part of our parenting journey and our baby absolutely loved his doula as well!
