We hired Brandi on a recommendation to support us through the birth of our first child. When we hired her we were planning a hospital birth, but wanting to have a home birth. Brandi went above and beyond from the very beginning - starting with offering access to further education and support around exploring the home birth option. We ended up having an incredibly fulfilling and supported home birth with the help of Brandi and an excellent midwife. When I had some trouble with my immediate postpartum recovery, Brandi was absolutely incredible in supporting me and the midwife (our midwife was also so impressed with Brandi) and I know I was a challenge for both of them in those moments.  Brandi was so kind, thorough, open, and non-judgmental in our meetings. She was an incredible resource for education and information without ever feeling any pressure around our decisions. She helped us develop a hopeful birth plan in the case of a hospital transfer and made us feel as equipped as possible for our birthing experience. Brandi was unbelievably patient and attentive through many hours of labor and I don’t know how I would have been able to manage the unmedicated labor without her physical and emotional support. Postpartum, I think it would be very difficult to have a hospital birth that would meet my needs personally and there’s no questions that Brandi would be an essential addition to the birth team if I had to have a hospital birth in the future or for anyone considering birth in that setting. Her postpartum debriefing meeting was really special and more needed than I even realized. Her placental encapsulation package was very professional, fast, beautiful, and filled with love. It’s very obvious that Brandi loves being a doula. We would highly recommend her to anyone considering hiring a doula and would absolutely call her again should more children be in our future!

Brandi is like family. We were strangers at first but after our many conversations , meet ups and of course her being at the birth of our girl, she has become family.
Brandi not only was helpful during pregnancy with answering my many questions and concerns, she was magical during my birthing process. When I was about to loose sight of what my birth plan was, my husband and Brandi were able to walk me through. Once she was at the hospital, She convinced me to try some movement to keep my little girl moving (sadly she got a little “wet” in the process, sorry Brandi lol) and whatever she did was magic!
Brandi has a natural birthing intuition, she is gentle yet assertive at the times needed. She truly cares how you are feeling, how you are doing and helps you achieve your goals, pre, during and postpartum.
My husband and I could not have birthed our beautiful Adeline without her!
We have so much love and respect for her!

Brandi was absolutely wonderful! There was an instant connection upon meeting her, she answered all my questions and made me feel relaxed. She offered tons of knowledge and fast to respond throughout the whole pregnancy. When I went into labor she came as soon as I requested, helped with different positions/breathing to help move things along until it was time for the midwife to arrive. She did not leave my side until the baby was born. Went above and beyond helping clean up the house afterwards. She also did amazing advocating for me when my placenta didn't want to come out right away. We will definitely be using her services again for the next baby!

Words can’t even begin to express how grateful I am for Brandi. She was an amazing person to have supporting me throughout my pregnancy, birth and postpartum. When intensity was increasing but dilation wasn’t progressing, she knew what suggestions to make to get baby where she needed to be to help me have the unmedicated water birth I wanted. Her presence alone was so calming and comforting and she advocated for me in a kind and respectful manner to the hospital staff when I wasn’t able to advocate for myself. She knew exactly what I needed even when I didn’t, making me comfortable and confident in my daughter’s birth. I’m truly so thankful for her and her knowledge and would recommend her to anyone that’s looking for a doula!

Brandi was amazing throughout the entire process, from preganancy through birth and postpartum! I ended up having a C section for my twin boys. However, she was very knowledgable about twin vaginal birth. I think everyone who has a c section should have a doula. One of my twins needed to go to the NICU, and without Brandi I wouldn't have had the skin to skin time and immediate breastfeeding time with him before they took him to the NICU. She advocated for my entire birth plan during the surgery and afterwards.
Brandi encapsulated our twin boys's placentas which was really helpful. She also preserved their umbilical cords.
Brandi was very helpful taking pictures during the surgery. They were like professional quality and I'll have those memories forever.
We were also thankful to have Brandi's help and guidance while installing our car seats.
I can't believe people have babies without doulas! I would recommend Brandi to anyone!

Brandi was so helpful before, during, and after birth. My labor was hard and I had to pivot from my birth plan. Brandi helped me make the right decisions for me and my baby. Looking back I feel proud of my birth even though it didn't go as I planned and I owe that to Brandi helping me feel confident in my decisions.

I was a few weeks out from my due date when we decided we wanted to hire a doula with being a first time mama and planning a home birth. I was 38 weeks when I met Brandi and felt immediately at ease with her. She was very knowledgeable , supported me so well during labor and helped me with breastfeeding right after birth which was so so helpful!! We are so grateful we were able to have our dream home birth and for our amazing birth team who made it possible! ?

Brandi was an amazing resource to have by my side during labor and delivery. Before that day arrived she also met with me twice and sent me an array of resources to go through that were helpful in preparing my body (and mind) for delivery-day.

On the day itself there was a huge blizzard and I had a very long labor (36 hours). Brandi arrived shortly after I asked her to come and stayed with me through the most difficult parts of my labor. She was by my side during every single contraction, applying counter-pressure, coming up with different modalities to help with my pain and frequently assisting me in position changes. She advocated for me in regard to what was in my birth plan and made sure I was absolutely sure anytime I chose to deviate from it. 

She took beautiful pictures of me and my family shortly after delivery during moments no one else would have been able to capture. I highly recommend her services and feel like my labor went extremely well, even though it was long and very difficult at times. In the end I was able to deliver a healthy, hefty boy (over 8 lbs) vaginally and left the hospital within twenty-four hours of delivery to be with my family during Christmas. She was wonderful.

I had a great experience working with Brandi!  I just had my first baby in a hospital and wanted a doula to help me advocate for myself and to feel more confident during labor.  Throughout my pregnancy, Brandi always made herself available via text and was quick to respond.  She answered questions for me and never made me feel like a burden the way the ONGYNs do when you ask them questions.  When I went into labor at 4am, she was quick to respond even in the early hours of the morning and came to the hospital quickly as my baby was coming fast.  I was very grateful to have her there when my son was born, she offered such amazing support and advice while I was pushing.  As a bonus, she took photos and was able to capture precious moments for our family.  Having Brandi as a doula gave my husband and me peace of mind knowing that we had someone on our side at such an important and vulnerable time for us.  Thank you, Brandi!

We decided to hire a doula when I was 37 weeks pregnant. We always knew the value in having a doula, but couldn’t find someone that we connected with. After having the first phone call with Brandi, it was a no brainer that she was our doula! She was easy to talk to, kind, compassionate and very knowledgeable. It was my main goal to have a natural birth and with Brandi’s help I was able to do that and have a positive birth experience. I highly recommend having Brandi on your birth team.

Brandi was excellent! She helped my husband and I feel more comfortable during my birth, despite some unforseen circumstances at the hospital. She helped us create a birth plan and was great at explaining our options beforehand. My husband and I both felt more comfortable during our birth experience because of Brandi, even though it didn't go as planned due to some health issues. I felt empowered to advocate for myself and thankful that I had ongoing support from Brandi throughout my pregnancy as well.

After my first pregnancy, birth and postpartum experience, I knew I wanted to be more prepared with my second child in order to have less interventions during labor and delivery and a smoother recovery. I began searching for a doula who would advocate for my desire to have a natural childbirth and who would provide me with support and resources during pregnancy that would prepare me physically and mentally for a natural childbirth, and additional help during labor and delivery. I am so thankful that I was referred to Brandi! She did all of that and helped us form the birth plan we desired. During labor and delivery she was there to provide additional comfort measures to give my husband a break and advocated for our birth plan to be followed as closely as possible, which was very important to me. In addition to labor and delivery she assisted in helping with breastfeeding immediately following delivery and she visited us at home a few days later to talk through our experience and drop off a special gift. I know Brandi was a huge part in helping me have the natural childbirth I desired, and I am so so thankful that she was part of our journey!

When I was looking to have an unmedicated VBAC, I knew having a doula would be a key piece to the puzzle. I set out to find someone who was informed, educated, a great advocate, compassionate, and easy to click with--and Brandi was the one who came highly recommended. After our first meeting, I knew she was going to be perfect for the job, and she was.  Not only was she a fabulous resource throughout pregnancy, the day of delivery she was so attentive to my needs and quick to jump in when needed. As if that wasn't enough, she was extremely helpful after delivery with establishing nursing and getting settled. My husband and I both agree that we truly would not have been able to achieve our goal without Brandi and could not recommend her enough for any birth experience!

I was 37 weeks pregnant when I decided that a doula would probably be worth the investment. I was praying to find someone at this last minute and was pleasantly surprised at how quickly I clicked with Brandi. We spoke on the phone for the first time and I immediately felt comfortable. Brandi was so easy to talk to. I’m a second time mom, but I knew I had a different mentality with my second pregnancy and wanted a different experience. She helped me navigate my final doctors appointments, made sure I was asking the right questions, and advocating for myself. She armed me with a lot of good resources to make educated decisions. I had planned a natural birth, but felt really comfortable with Brandi there when I had a change of heart in labor. She was still able to assist me through labor and helped me keep focused on the important things when our birth went a little sideways. I am so glad I hired Brandi and truly feel like I’ve gained a friend.

Brandi was amazing! She was such a big part of me being able to Vbac after 2 c-sections. She empowered me and my husband to feel confident and positive even in the intensity of labor and when we had to make decisions when we were tired and waiting on our doctor to arrive. Every contraction she helped me with comfort measures, finding new postions to help with pain, and with my mindset. She documented one of the most important moments of my life and finished it off with getting us coffee! :)
I 10/10 recommend her for helping you in labor and especially if you desire to Vbac!

As a first time mom and completely terrified, I highly recommend Brandi! She is so thorough with EVERYTHING! She was able to help with all my questions and concerns. The knowledge and resources she has is outstanding! She covered every possibility imaginable when going over my birth plan, so when my labor didn’t go as planned (of course), she knew exactly what I wanted to happen—without having to ask me. And she wasn’t afraid to advocate my wants/needs to the doctor and nurses! Even postpartum, she checked in on my baby and myself—especially my mental health. She made sure I was successful with my breastfeeding journey and, of course, shared more resources! Being a doula is more than a job to her, she became family during my pregnancy and delivery. I couldn’t imagine not having her there!

She also encapsulated my placenta for me. She was able to get it done before we even left the hospital! She emailed me the directions and included pictures of the process, which was awesome to see! She delivered them in a gift bag with a laminated copy of my birth plan, a onesie for my baby, part of the umbilical cord, and a handwritten note! I couldn’t have found a better doula!
