Kim was exceptional! From day one she had not only been helpful with my pregnancy, but other things outside of it. She helped prepare me with a birth plan and listened to what I wanted out of my experience. During my birth she coached my loved ones on how to help make my birth a successful one; wether it was breathing exercises, advocating, or enforcing squats lol. Can't forget to mention the postpartum care was just what i needed between transportation to appointments, helping with laundry, ice cream dates, and just sitting with baby while I get a shower. Not sure how much advocating I would've done for myself if it wasn't for her and her strong passion for this field.

One word to describe Kimberley Sims as my doula is excellence. I remember not knowing what was happening to my body as labor approached and she was right there at every step explaining every     Minor detail. For me I needed everything explained. While dealing with a negiligent nurse,  Kimberley advocated for my rights as well as for what I wanted in labor. She even let the doctor wait until I was through to the next contraction to speak to me regarding medicine. If you are looking for not only a friend to help but an advocate when you can't even speak through contractions and you don't know what to do before, during, and after Kimberly is the doula who exceeds excellence and I trusted her with my life. She got me through one of the hardest events I have ever experienced and I am grateful for it.

I had the pleasure of having Kim as my doula in 2021. My experience was nothing short of amazing. She is knowledgeable, honest, kind, and loving. This was my second pregnancy and I knew the moment I found out that I wanted to have a doula. A friend of mine referred her to me and it was litteraly a match made in heaven. She was never too busy, answered any quaestions I had and when she didnt know she found out. I dont know what I would've done without her during my labor and delivery. That day she left one delivery and came straight to us. During labor I expressed to the nurses that I didnt want any medication and didnt have much support from them after. Kim and her assistant came in ready to work. Giving me different methods to help through the pain, keeping me encouraged and also making sure my boyfriend felt included and supported as well. The whole experience was honestly better than I had imagined it would be and that was mostly because of Kim. I felt seen, heard, respected and most importantly loved throuuhgout my pregnancy, labor, delivery, and even still with her random check ins and loving messages. Kim is one of a kind. Her love and passion is easily felt and seen throughout her work.
