Eli was such a source of comfort and calm for me in my postpartum period! Beyond caring for our daughter, Eli helped me early on with breastfeeding and troubleshooting nipple pain, and also helped me process my labor and delivery experience! I am so grateful to Eli and have recommended her to all my friends who are contemplating pregnancy.

Eli was hands down one of the best investments we made for postpartum. Our baby would constantly wake up every hour to feed. It was exhausting to say the least but for 3 nights a week, Eli was able to relieve us for a few hours to get some much needed longer stretches of sleep. Additionally, Eli was so kind and thoughtful. We talked a lot during the nights ranging from helpful tips and suggestions for baby and mom to random, funny things like TikTok trends. She was a really great support that we needed during the bleak early weeks of postpartum as we didn't have friends or family nearby. She was also so sweet to our baby - she was soft spoken, would clean bottles and so patient with him. She also loved our dog which was nice bonus. We highly recommend Eli as a postpartum doula! We also recommend her as a date night sitter if she is available.

Eli was so wonderful! We are first time parents without any local family support, and we couldn't have made it through the first six weeks without Eli's support.

We felt super comfortable with her and she was attentive to our needs and flexible. She did everything from cooking us yummy and healthy meals, massaging my post-partum aches away, help with breastfeeding, caring for our newborn so we could take naps, cleaning up, laundry, and most importantly just being a soothing, knowledgeable and reassuring presence in a time when we felt discombobulated and vulnerable.

Thank you, Eli, we appreciate you a lot!

We absolutely loved working with Eli. She was so helpful and supportive throughout pregnancy, met with us several times, and shared a ton of helpful resources. And she was incredible throughout our birth experience, which ended up being much different than we had originally anticipated. Eli was there to support and guide myself and my partner through so many twists and turns throughout the course of my ~35 hour labor and emergency c-section delivery. We could not imagine going through that experience without her compassionate and steady presence. She was also a wonderful source of knowledge and guidance postpartum and continues to check in on us weeks later. We will hopefully get to work with Eli again for kiddo number two!

Eli is tremendous!

She was instrumental in our first few weeks with our little one, giving us postpartum doula support so we could get enough sleep to get by.

We met with her on video and for a home visit before birth and felt very comfortable with all of Eli's preparation and skills. She was always on time, communicative, and folded some clothes during her shifts minding and comforting our baby. (She was probably the first person to hold him aside from us after he got home!)

We'd recommend Eli to anyone.

One of my greatest regrets is not having a doula with my first child. I didn't know how truly necessary it was, until after my second child was born- with doula care. Elizabeth Seibel was my doula, and an incredible one at that.

Elizabeth is very knowledgeable about patients' rights during labor and delivery. She gave me the confidence to relay my wishes/needs to the hospital staff. This was super important for me as I was persuaded by staff  to do things I wasn't ready for with my first child, which ended in a traumatic hospital experience and physical birth injury.

Elizabeth has a very grounding and calm energy about her. She wasn't awkward at all. She massaged my legs and feet which reduced my swelling so significantly. It was such a relief! She listened to my needs and gave gentle recommendations. This made delivery really comfortable.

The final touch to her astounding service was the homemade bone broth she cooked for me. She made sure it was stored in a fridge in the hospital and she heated it for me immediately after I gave birth. It was so thoughtful.

Thanks again Elizabeth!

Eli was our post-partum doula and she was such a delight to work with! Her demeanor is so laid back and soothing, I always felt so comfortable and at ease when she was around. She was great with my baby and would often watch her to help me catch up on sleep! Eli always checked in on me and reminded me to hydrate and stay fed. She also helped me figure out more comfortable nursing positions which was such a game changer for me! I so so recommend Eli.

Eli was such a calming presence in our home the few weeks after our daughter was born. She brought a balance of expertise and curiosity and was always willing to help in ways that made our days feel easier with a newborn. We were so grateful for her and would highly recommend Eli for postpartum care!

Eli was fantastic! My husband and I learned so much from the sessions she conducted with us before having our baby. Eli was so supportive of my choices and checked with me before taking any decisions with my doctor and nurses. Eli's presence in the room was much needed! She is very responsive via text and calls throughout the whole pregnancy and was with me in the hospital within 30 mins (maybe less). She also took some lovely pictures and videos that my husband and I will cherish forever. If you are a new mama (like I am) I am certain that  having Eli by your side will be the best decision to take.

I would highly recommend working with Eli! We hired her for a placenta art print and it turned out beautifully. She was very responsive and worked with us very closely when it was time for the hospital pick up. She provided a beautiful service for us and made the whole process very easy, from pick up to drop off.

If you want a very parent+baby centered birth experience, Eli is your doula! We had such a positive and warm experience working with her. From our very first meeting, she was such a wonderful active listener and shared her insight based on our birth preferences with no judgment. She also followed up with relevant resources promptly after each of our meetings. During the labor and delivery process, we could not have imagined our birth (with our second baby) without her. She provided physical and mental support as well as regularly checked in on what I wanted and advocated for my desires when appropriate. She even had a delicious bone broth ready for me to drink after my delivery. We cannot recommend Eli enough!

If I were to go back and re-experience my entire birthing process, I would choose Eli all over again. She was just what I needed at every point. I'll always remember the little things she did that brought ease to this untameable experience we call birth. Rubbing my hand in the pool when it was time to hold something and really bear down. Lifting those precious honey-sticks to my lips when my energy started to dwindle. Suggesting that last and final position-move that broke my water and brought baby out with the quickness. Spoon-feeding me during those dizzyingly euphoric moments right after baby came (three different things at the same time because I couldn't decide which meal I wanted lol). And a bone broth that will have you telling yourself you're gonna make bone broth "one of these days" for months. I can still taste it, y'all. Some healing potion it was, too. To understate, this forever post-partum body is grateful. Choosing the right doula has me thinking about doing it all over again just a few months out. And we know just who I'm calling when I do.

Part 2:

After the birth she was so supportive of my immediate postpartum experience, emotional state and helped care for baby in anyway we needed or requested. Eli honored our emotions and was a great listener and support system throughout the whole experience. She is super adaptable and was calm and supportive under pressure when things changed abruptly. As a black and latinx family we were honored to have Eli support in the way that she did; we felt incredibly safe, supported and loved. We would highly recommend her services regardless of the type of birth you decide or anticipate to have, especially if you come from a marginalized experience and are looking for someone to support you in a culturally competent and non judge-mental way. We honestly couldn’t have imagined not having Eli as our doula. You’re in great hands with Eli!

Part 1:

Eli was a wonderful birth doula. She was always very responsive anytime we had questions or concerns. We appreciated the emotional support she gave during pregnancy and during the birth. As new parents she equipped us with tons of useful information from culturally relevant resources about the birth experience, preparing for postpartum and lactation. Eli has a very calm and soft energy that honors the experience of birth in a traditionally humane way without judgement. In my particular instance, we went 2 weeks and 1 day past the due date and Eli was extremely supportive and helped us get to a relaxing space as we awaited the very late arrival of our first babe. Leading up to the birth she checked in regularly to see how our appointments went and our mental health and overall well being as we prepared for a major life changing event. She always made sure to check if we had any questions and asked us what we needed as support. Eli constantly listened and supported without judgement throughout our time with her during our pregnancy and especially as our birthing plans changed. Eli was super adaptable when our planned birth center experience turned into a hospital birth. She asked providers all the right questions when we were overwhelmed, gave us encouragement to remember that this experience was ours and that we had voice and choice.

I didn't plan on hiring a doula for my first birth until I spoke to a few people who expressed how valuable it is to have one during labor. I am incredibly grateful that I did hire a doula, and especially happy that we chose Eli. Eli educated us on all of the aspects of labor, helped us prepare mentally, and supported me with any questions/concerns I had. Though the information was extremely useful, Eli's value really came in during labor. I truly believe that my birthing experience would have gone so differently had Eli not been there - and I am sure it wouldn't have gone the way that I'd wanted it to. Eli was so supportive and soothing during labor, she reassured me that I didn't need pain medication and that I could do it. Eli was the calm that me, my partner, and my mom needed while I was in labor. Eli continued her work with us with a few postpartum visits as well as check-ins in the days that we didn't meet. I cannot expresss enough how incredible Eli was during the prenatal period, labor, and through postpartum!

Eli was amazing! She was very flexible when it came to my early birth. She arrived at the hospital quickly and was very supportive during my birth. Eli also was great in reminding myself of my rights while being at the hospital and helped me feel empowered in the decisions that i made. as i was going through labor in the hospital, she managed to make my experience more relaxing by bringing a speaker and soft lights and played relaxing music during my birthing. She is a great doula, with a very warm heart! I am so grateful that I had her as my doula during my birth and was able to feel supported and comforted throughout our time together!

I worked with Ellie from my third trimester until the time of my birth with my baby girl Hazelynn in Oct. of 2020. I'm a first time mom and she was seriously amazing and comforting and gave off some of the best energy I could've asked for in support during my pregnancy. Unfortunately, she was not able to attend my birth but I still appreciate all of the support she gave me before, during and after my birth! I could not have asked for a better experience with a doula and will be using her for future pregnancies!
