I gave birth to my first baby last year and chose to have a home birth. I was initially on the fence about having both a midwife and doula present but I am so glad I went that route. Cherie was a really calming presence at my birth and was super helpful to both myself and my husband. They (Cherie and my husband) really worked as a team supporting me through labor. He felt that she offered a perfect balance when it came to relieving him for a moment when needed but also making sure he could be the one supporting me as much as possible. She showed him things to try and how he can help and then just let him be in the experience. She didn’t try to take over. For him, having her to refer to during the birth was really nice. For me, I knew when I met Cherie that I wanted her there at my birth. She has a silent strength about her that I find very empowering. From prenatal appointments, during the birth and through to the postpartum check in, I felt supported and in good hands. Absolutely worth it. Thank you Cherie!

Cherie is absolutely wonderful. I am so grateful my husband encouraged me to find a doula. I am a very anxious person and was so nervous about my first pregnancy especially not knowing what to expect or what was normal. I felt very supported by Cherie. I feel we connected right away and that she understood what I needed. She provided me with evidence based resources and she listened and supported me with every choice that I made without judgment. She is very professional, compassionate, and just the right fit for me with her calming energy. She was available via text, video, in-person and email. She helped me navigate early labor and stayed by my side the entire time, holding my hand, comforting me, explaining what was going on and helping me with different birthing positions. My baby girl was born healthy and I feel so relieved that I had such a positive experience. Cherie checked in on us postpartum and helped my process my labor which was so helpful and healing. I strongly recommend Cherie, she feels like part of the family.

I knew I wanted to work with Cherie as soon as we started talking. She had such a calming energy and was so kind. I wasn't sure what it was going to be like working with a doula but she surpassed all my expectations. She was a great listener and always made me feel supported. She is very knowledgeable and genuine. I ended up have a pretty traumatic birth due to unforeseen circumstances and thankfully Cherie was there to help me through it. She was by my side, supporting and encouraging me the entire way. I don't know what I would have done without her. I can't recommend her more.

My husband and I started looking for a doula after we found out we were pregnant. We had a little difficulty because we have Tricare insurance, and Tricare was trialing covering doula services. Therefore, many doulas were not certified to work with Tricare and did not know the process. Cherie was AMAZING throughout the entire process and was honest when she didn't have the answer about insurance coverages. Even if insurance didn't help cover the cost, Cherie is worth every penny. I couldn't have imagined going into my birth with a different doula. She made the environment so calm and comfortable. She did a great job of reinforcing the importance of self-care throughout birth (food, water, bathroom breaks).I was in labor for 20ish hours, and Cherie was there for all of them.  My child was in the Asynclitic position (can be a longer, more difficult birth). Cherie had MANY different positions to try to help baby progress.  She also brought many different tools to help with pain management. It was great to have the meetings with her before the birth as well to get prepared for the birth.  She made me feel heard and was so helpful to ensure I had a positive birth experience. I look forward to working with her again for my next birth!

Cherie was my doula for the birth of my daughter. Prior to my labor, Cherie was available to answer my questions and to help me pursue knowledge of different pain management techniques. She also allowed me space to openly and comfortably talk through any worries/fears I had. Both my husband and I felt more confident knowing we had Cherie's help entering labor. During labor day, Cherie provided a calming presence and both physical and emotional support. She was knowledge of multiple ways to assist me and she worked very well with my midwife. Cherie was a valuable member of my birth team and she contributed to my succful VBAC at home. She also checked on me several times postpartum which was so nice! I highly recommend Cherie. If you are considering a doula, please consider meeting with her!

I was her 1st client back in 2020. She was absolutely amazing, caring and organized. She helped ease my mind, I was alone and new to motherhood and middle of covid pandemic didnt make it any better. Thank you for helping me bring my little girl into this world. Something I could never forget.

We are so glad we had Cherie as our doula for our first birth! She was a great help during labor, providing much-needed counterpressure and allowing my husband to be free to hug and comfort me when needed. She was very punctual and organized, which was really appreciated. It was also nice having another woman that had already gone through childbirth there to support me during my birth, putting me more at ease while laboring at home. She also took a ton of photos and videos for us! Thanks again!
