I had the pleasure of having Leslie take care of my newborn daughter for 4 weeks. Throughout her time with us, I was continually impressed by her kindness, patience, and sense of humor. Leslie was always punctual and showed great respect for our family's cultural differences. One of the highlights was the lovely photos she took for our family when my daughter reached one month old, which we will cherish forever. I also gained a wealth of parenting tips from her, which have been incredibly helpful. Her professionalism and dedication truly made a difference in our early parenting journey. I highly recommend Leslie to any family in need of support.

Leslie is not only an incredible doula, but she is also one of the most loving and nurturing humans on the planet. She was a tremendous help right after I had our baby, doing night shifts and helping around in any and every way she could. Beyond cleaning, cooking, and doing laundry, she'd organize packages, baby clothes, and find resources for any questions we had about breastfeeding, transitioning our baby to solids, allergies, you name it. We loved her so much, we ended up working w/ her long after our baby girl turned 1yo! At this point, she is more than "doula care," she is family to us. I cannot recommend Leslie enough, though I do fear that if others reach out, she'll get too busy and won't be able to see us anymore! ??

UPDATE: I needed to write a follow-up to my review for Leslie because I really cannot overstate how wonderful she is! We had another baby girl in 2023 and we would not have survived w/o Leslie's support. Our toddler got Hand, Foot, Mouth Disease right before our second was born, so we had to quarantine for the first ~9 days of her life. I was changing all of our newborn's diapers when I was supposed to be resting and staying horizontal (as my husband was w/ our sick toddler) and it was far from ideal. Leslie's overnights were truly life-saving and I think I would have fallen into some serious postpartum depression had she not been there.

She continued to keep our family afloat for the next many months, and at this point, has traveled internationally w/ us multiple times! When you bring Leslie into your home, she will find all the gaps that you weren't even aware of and fill them. She has incredible communication, endless energy, and can almost read minds. The only problem w/ hiring Leslie is that she will raise the bar too high making it near impossible to find the same quality of support and professionalism elsewhere.

We are lucky to have Leslie as our postpartum doula for the first 6 weeks. She is warm and extremely well communicated. She understood our needs for supports and was flexible with the starting date (knowing our delivery date was pending on monitored situations).
She stayed connected with us before our baby was born and started right after we were home the 2nd day (as we preferred). As new parents, it could be overwhelming for the first few weeks. But Leslie made it much easier for us to ramp up. She showed us those How-Tos and shared us lots of great online resources. Our baby is very gasy, but she taught us quite some tips that helped. For the overnight shifts, she always arrived on time and left us detailed notes when she left. She offered to help us some houseworks and shared some great lactation receipts, which we really appreciated.  We would definitely hire her again when needed, and would not hesitate to recommend her to our friend who are in need.

We had an awesome experience with Leslie and we feel lucky that we were able to find appointment slot with her. I will highly recommend to book her well in advance.

We had our 2nd baby in December 2023 and were looking for doula and got multiple great references for Leslie so we reached out to her and had initial consultation in which she asked us our top priorities for which we are looking for Doula and explained the whole process and responsibilities of doula. We took after birth doula services.

Main points:
1) Taking care of our daughter, new born.

2) Taking care of laundry (putting in washer and dryer and fold it), wash baby bottles, feed baby and snacks for daughter.

3) our biggest concern was handling our elder daughter and making her understand about this big change. Leslie is expert in that and helped make this transition very smoothly for her by engaging her with activities in taking care of baby as well as other play/painting etc activities.

4) taught us different positions to burp baby, how to give bath to baby, massage baby, things to do to make baby feel better when baby feeling gassy and many more tips around handling baby.

5) send us report of everything she did as well as photos she clicked so we know when baby had milk, diaper change, daughter had snacks etc.

6) She is a wonderful person, warm, caring and someone exactly with whom we felt comfortable leaving our daughter and newborn and able to sleep peacefully.

The best and smoothest days we had after baby birth was in the days Leslie came because she managed everything and we were able to get good rest. We are very happy with her services and felt like having a family member at home. We highly recommend having Leslie as Doula if you want have best experience and want to relax even after having a new born.

We heard about Leslie from a family member, who spoke very highly of Leslie. Our daughter was born six weeks early and had a three week stay in the NICU. Leslie was amazing at checking in with us and being flexible with when she started. Leslie helped with two overnights a week, and we looked forward to her nights with us. Not only did she take amazing care of our daughter, she was also encouraging, kind, and thoughtful in supporting my husband and me. She made me snacks, folded our laundry, and did everything she could to make our lives a little easier. Leslie went above and beyond in her support. She brought us small gifts and sent encouraging messages. Leslie also gave us helpful baby advice that proved to be really essential for us as new parents. Overall, she made our first six weeks as parents so much easier. If we have more kids, we will reach out to Leslie as soon as possible to work with her again. I highly recommend working with her.

We had Leslie come over for night shifts during the first few weeks postpartum. Having Leslie's support as a first time parent was incredible. Leslie is punctual, communicative, sweet, and caring. She helped us get some much needed sleep at night, assisted me with night nursing, tended to our baby, loved our senior dog, did our laundry (including folding and putting away!), and ensured I was fed and cared for. My husband and I felt a huge sense of relief every time Leslie was here. I was nervous in the beginning with my baby's acid reflux thought the night, and having her at our home to hold and care for our baby while we slept was wonderful. Night nursing can get very lonely, and having Leslie sit with me and talk with me as I nursed throughout the night was comforting. I really appreciated this time with Leslie and our talks about motherhood, baby development, and general tips on how to care for a newborn. She also refilled my drinks and fed me snacks as I nursed! My husband and I struggled to make decisions for our baby, and having Leslie as a sounding board was reassuring and helpful (tongue tie, feeds, CST, etc.). She's a baby expert and helped us understand what our baby was going through (feeds, acid reflux, tongue tie, sleep/naps, etc.). Her detailed notes of each shift were helpful as well. Leslie helped us build our confidence as parents. She's truly amazing and highly recommend her as a postpartum doula!

Leslie is wonderful! I was able to trust Leslie with my newborn during the night so I could get a chunk of sleep and recover because I knew she would be responsive and work with his reflux. She was so kind and respectful and such a warm
presence. It was like having a second mom here with us. If we have more kids, she will be the first person I call. She is knowledgeable and did everything she could to support us. My husband was initially skeptical of what a doula could provide, and after one or two days, he was completely on board.

A real life angel! We hired Leslie for care with our #3 child. With calm experience she helped me get into nursing and caring for my little guy within the week we brought him home. When it comes to daily questions- she offers simple smart advice and tips. Days when I was fatigued and did not know where to start- she would remind to me eat, rest and take care of myself. Having her sound expertise gave me confidence weekly and allowed me time with my other two little children when she could take care of the baby. Both my husband and I benefitted from the extra sleep and extra help around the house. I can't imagine having done this without her and wish I had met her sooner! She can do in one day what it takes us in 3 days to do without her.

Leslie has been our doula since October. She started by providing sibling support while our third was being born, and then she transitioned to night support. The thing with Leslie is that when she comes over you just feel at ease - you know the kids are in great hands. She’s absolutely wonderful and among all of he wonderful services and care she provides, she gives parents peace of mind. That is priceless. She honestly feels like a part of the family now. Our 11 year old even says he gets excited when she is coming over, and he’s a tough sell as a preteen. Leslie is the BEST!

Our experience with Leslie put in one word would be BEAUTIFUL. We utilized both her Sibling Doula Services and Postpartum Newborn Care, and she delivered in a big way on both. She is Kind, great with kids and we always tell her that the work she does is a BLESSING. 

Postpartum is rough and having her by my side made my journey so much easier. She cared for me as a mama and made sure I was comfortable throughout the night. Whenever she was around, I went to bed knowing that my newborn was in safe hands. She also helped with light household duties like laundry and that helped us so much.

After her shift, she always sent us a detailed report of her night with our newborn. She was easy to get in touch with whenever needed and also very quick to respond to any questions we had. 

I have no complaints whatsoever about our experience with her and would definitely use her services again. If you're looking to hire her, go ahead, you will not regret it.

I am so thankful to have found Leslie as our postpartum doula. She has taken amazing care of our newborn. I wish I knew about her before giving birth as it would have been a huge help to have her starting in the first month! She has the best, most kind and optimistic personality. She is so gentle and loving. I sleep peacefully at night knowing our baby is in wonderful hands. She answers all my questions and has such useful advice since I am a first time mom. She is always on time when coming to our place. She has done so much more than take care of our baby, including meal prep, tons of our and baby’s laundry + folding everything and putting things away and dishes + countless bottle and pump parts. She also made sure my water bottle was always filled when I came out to pump in the middle of the night and had the bottles set our so I could easily fill and refrigerate them afterwards. It was also so nice waking up to chores that would have otherwise been hard to get done during the day. She is also super quiet and keeps our baby calm at night so my husband and I never hear anything even though we live in a small 1 bedroom condo. She always sent a super detailed report in the morning of how our baby did during the night and anything she observed. She has been a great support person for my family and I. If we have another baby, I will definitely want to work with Leslie as our postpartum doula again! I cannot say enough great things about our experience with her. Thank you, Leslie, for all that you have done for us!!

Leslie has been a great help to our family during my first month of postpartum. I have a toddler at home who was learning the concept of siblings and needs attention. Leslie would play with him while managed to take care of my newborn. My 3-year-old often asked where Leslie was because he loved playing with her!
I feel absolute relieved whenever she comes in. Leslie is patient and listens to our needs. Like many new parents, my partner and I struggled with understanding the newborn cries (gas, hunger, tiredness, etc). Leslie shared tips and observed the baby based on my concerns. Leslie always tried to help in any way she could: doing dishes, laundry, pre-assembling pump parts for my midnight pumping sessions, making meals. These are so needed as I was recovering from C-section.
In all, Leslie is a great asset to a family as a doula.

Our 3rd child was born this August, and we had Leslie come help us for 3 nights per week for 4 weeks. Prior to his birth, Leslie reached out to check on us many times, and we all looked forward to seeing her. After our son was born, Leslie worked with our hectic schedule to ensure we were well cared for. She helped with dishes, laundry, meal prep, and even suggested she make some of her delicious protein balls because she knows that having 3 young children is HARD and Mom needs to eat too! Leslie was able to anticipate our family's needs. As a mom of 3, I felt very overwhelmed and overloaded with decision fatigue, and I knew when Leslie came, I wouldn't have to think about anything, she just took iniative and got it all done. When my 4 year old woke up at 5AM multiple morings when Leslie was at our home, she played with him and let him be her 'helper', which made him feel so important and helped Mom get just a bit more sleep. He still asks about Leslie and when she's coming back. I truly could not recommend Leslie enough for any family looking for overnight or daytime care. She is a true gem and any family would be lucky to have her!!!

We hired Leslie as our postpartum doula after our third baby was born - and it was the best decision we could have possibly made during the initial postpartum period. I had an unplanned c-section and since we don't have family in the area to help, we relied on Leslie so much during the first 6 weeks of our daughters life. She's basically the mom we wish we all had, but without the emotional baggage (haha!). She is so loving, attentive, calming, and incredible with both our newborn and our two older children (age 5 and 3). I could not have navigated the transition to a new family of five as smoothly if it weren't for Leslie.

After our daughter became jaundiced, we needed to switch to bottle feeding and Leslie supported our pumping + nursing + formula feeding journey without hesitation. She is judgement free and I felt supported no matter the decision - which is so crucial in those tender, emotional early days and weeks postpartum. 

On top of expertly caring for our newborn, she made us dinners and snacks, did the dishes and laundry (baskets and baskets of laundry!), washed all bottles and pump parts in the middle of the night, and was always there to answer questions or just talk about how the baby and I were doing. She always remembered when we had various appointments and would text us to see how it went. It was so wonderful to have Leslie there for both practical help as well as emotional support.

Do yourself the biggest favor and hire Leslie as your postpartum doula. Future you will be so thankful you did! :-)

Leslie was our postpartum doula for our second child and supported us for the first month after she was born. Leslie was invaluable during this first month; I looked forward to every night that she would be at our home knowing that my daughter would be well taken care of, I would be guaranteed some good sleep, and the laundry and dishes would be done the next morning. I also very much appreciated the notes she sent the morning after on how the evening went as well as the tips she shared on breastfeeding, reflux, bottle feeding, etc. Leslie is great at what she does and I’m so glad we had the chance to work with her!

Leslie was absolutely incredible for us during our postpartum period! I cannot say enough wonderful things about her. She has a calming, warm, maternal energy that was exactly what I needed during this delicate time. She took amazing care of both me and our son and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and happy. She meal prepped for us and always made sure we had what we needed, even picked up groceries for us on her way to our house! She brought expert knowledge on lactation and made me feel so much more at ease about my baby’s latch and my milk supply. Having her as a resource with breastfeeding and lactation made the experience so much better than with my first baby. She sat with my during every feeding, burped the baby, changed him, and kept me awake and focused on positive things vs thinking about how tired I was. Not to mention she did all of our laundry! And lastly, she’s a really sweet person :) I highly recommend Leslie for any family.

Leslie helped us for several weeks after the birth of our first child. She was amazing in every way possible. She took care of us by giving us the rest we needed and anticipating our every want (Cut up strawberries and perfectly buttered toast at 3am after my hospital stay? Yes, please. Refill on my water? Sure. Make lactation cookies? Definitely.). She took care of our baby so easily and professionally and taught us so much about him along the way. I never once felt anxious handing our baby off to Leslie. She always followed up about baby conversations the next day via text/articles with more info since you can’t possibly remember all her 2am pearls of wisdom. Finally, she took care of our house (folding laundry, doing dishes, cleaning bottles/pump parts). She did everything with such a calming yet cheerful demeanor, and she is just a wonderful person to have a chat with while breast feeding at 3am. We couldn’t imagine a better experience and are so thankful we went with her!

Leslie greeted us at home when bringing our baby boy Kevin from the hospital. We were so exhausted and overwhelmed, but she really stepped in and helped us as first time parents reassuring us that everything is going just fine. She handled tricky night shifts when Kevin up was waking up frequently or being fussy, and in parallel she handled mom’s breastfeeding and pumping schedule. At the end of each shift she left the baby sleeping and bottles/pump parts washed and ready to go for the next feedings. Not to mention she took care of important chores in the house that we couldn’t get too. Leslie is so hard working, always on time and has so much initiative in order to keep the house in a clean, ordered state and making sure mom gets the rest she needs to recover quickly. We’ve been hiring Leslie outside of our initial plans because everything went so well, and we will surely reach out even as Kevin gets older. I highly recommend hiring Leslie for as many hours as possible to help you out with your newborn, she will earn your trust very quickly and you will see that she pours her heart into what she does. She also takes amazing pictures: some of the best we have of Kevin are taken by Leslie.

We had Leslie's support for the first 3 months of our son's life. We started out with 1.5 months coverage, but kept adding whenever she had availability because she was SO amazing. Leslie had a magic touch with our boy, who suffered from severe reflux and colic. She helped us navigate his inconsolable crying by teaching us new techniques and connecting us to resources. I appreciated how conscientious Leslie was-- we worked with a couple substitute doulas, and I noticed that Leslie took extra care to do things like wash dishes with a small stream to make sure it wouldn't wake us up, or surprise organize our tupperware when the drawer stopped opening. Leslie also checked in continuously throughout the day to make sure we were doing alright emotionally, something that was also invaluable because the first few weeks can be so tough! On top of that, she is such a lovely person and we all miss her positive presence. You can't go wrong with Leslie.

Leslie helped us with our four week twins for a week to provide coverage when our main doula was on vacation.

Leslie was excellent and made the transition seamless.  She was incredibly knowledge, helpful, sweet with our boys, and I was able to rest peacefully everytime she came with confidence our twins were in great hands.

Leslie is the most thoughtful, caring and talented doula out there. She set us up for success with our newborn for the first week nights. She taught us all the tips and tricks for the baby including diaper, breast milk quality, feed styles, swaddling. We trusted her so much and could sleep 6 hour stretches at night while she took care of the baby which were a huge win!! She was so kind to me and made sure my c section meds went in on time! Leslie, you are AMAZING!!

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Leslie as a postpartum doula and any family would be lucky to have her. She is a true professional, and made us feel well cared for and completely secure in leaving both our newborn and toddler under her watchful (and playful) eye. Leslie was an AMAZING sibling doula during the birth of our second son.

Being away from family and in the middle of a pandemic made this second birth super stressful for our family but Leslie was such a blessing for us.

She immediately connected with our 18-month old son and ensured that throughout our stay in the hospital he was happy, properly taken care of, and we could relax and enjoy the birth of our second son knowing that our oldest was having a blast at home.

We truly couldn't have asked for better support during this process. Prior to our delivery day she made a couple of visits to build trust with our little one and even made herself available when we needed additional help in the last couple of weeks of pregnancy. If you're looking for doula care, look no further. Leslie is AWESOME!

Leslie is an amazing sibling doula! We were not able to have family travel to be with us for the birth or my second daughter. Leslie was attentive to my daughters needs (she has social anxiety) and concerns. Leslie went out of her way to meet with my family and ahead of the birth so my daughter was comfortable with her. After the initial meeting my daughter was as excited to spend time with Leslie as she was to get a new baby sister.

The peace of mind my husband and I had while at the hospital knowing that Leslie was with our daughter was incredibly valuable to us. We received frequent updates on what activities they were doing and how things were going. My daughter made a sign for her new baby sister, crafts, baked, worked on homework, and overall had a great time.

We are so grateful to have found Leslie to help with overnights after our daughter was born in January 2021. She was amazing with our daughter, and really helped me to recover after my c-section. I chose to breastfeed and Leslie was extremely supportive. She brought our daughter in to feed, and took care of the rest (burping, changing diaper, etc.). On top of amazing infant care, Leslie helped keep our house running. From doing our laundry, to helping clean the playroom, and everything in between, it would have been completely unmanageable without her. Leslie also helped us to recognize signs of our daughters reflux, which was later diagnosed by our doctor. I truly cannot recommend Leslie enough!

Leslie provided daytime support for our newborn during our first 6 weeks home from the hospital. Leslie was a bright light in getting our house back in shape at the beginning of each week. She helped with laundry, food prep, grocery pick-up, caring for baby while we could nap or go for a walk, and general house organizing. Leslie was willing to do anything we needed. She was great with our pets who were always excited to see her and get some much needed attention. What I appreciated most of all about Leslie was her ability to come in and get to work with very little direction. She was also very conscious of COVID safety and always wore a mask in our house, which was an important requirement for us when finding a doula. I would recommend Leslie to any families looking for postpartum support!

Leslie has been such an amazing person to work with. Having a very active 4 year old and a baby in the middle of a pandemic was stressful but Leslie made those initial weeks go smooth. Welcoming a baby, making siblings adjustments, helping with chores, being supportive, reliable and knowledgeable is what our family experienced with her. She made a beautiful connection with our family that is way indescribable.

Leslie provided overnight care for our 2 month old baby, and we cannot speak highly enough of her! She was friendly, professional, and very conscious of COVID safety, including wearing a mask during her entire time in our house. Leslie also volunteered to do laundry, dishes, and meal prep while our baby was sleeping (which we took her up on). She was also great with our dog (a pug), who snuck downstairs just to cuddle with Leslie on at least one occasion. We would absolutely recommend Leslie to anyone, and we are sad that we couldn't keep her for longer, because she had another family that she had already committed to. If we ever have another child, we will try to book Leslie as far out as possible.

Leslie was a fantastic doula who provided overnight care for our twin girls. She saved us by taking over for another doula who left us mid-contract. Leslie is extremely warm and willing to help out with everything. She helped with laundry, washing all bottles and pump parts, and took amazing care of the babies overnight. She was incredibly flexible and always willing to take over shifts for our other doula if something came up last minute. I cannot recommend her highly enough!

Leslie instantly charmed my five month old son, dissolving my fears about stranger danger and setting me at ease. She integrated seamlessly into our routines, jumping in to help where needed and demonstrating intuition about when to step in and when to step back. Leslie has been so helpful for us in our first 2 months home with our son. She has been great with him - clearly has a passion for little ones, and provides loving care. In addition to helping care for him while we get some rest, she does whatever she can to be helpful - in the mornings all of our baby related dishes are always done, along with baby related laundry. She also helped me with my overnight pumping, cleaning everything between pumps and bringing them to my bedroom door so I didn’t have to spend more time out of bed than needed. She is incredibly thoughtful and always finds as many ways as possible to help make our lives easier with a newborn. I highly recommend hiring Leslie!

We were so grateful to find Leslie and hire her to be our postpartum doula after the birth of our second baby. She was such a positive energy to have in the house and our almost 3 year old absolutely adores her. She came prepared each day to get done whatever needed to be done. She was great at coming in and assessing what would be most helpful for that day and just doing it which was very important to me. She was also great at adapting to whatever we needed or special projects. She was so helpful with our newborn and our toddler and we felt more than comfortable having her take care of one if we needed to take care of the other. Leslie brought books and toys that our toddler loved and made her feel so special. Leslie is very professional but also like part of the family! We cannot recommend her highly enough and know that she will help you transition to a family of 3, 4 or more!

Leslie was absolutely wonderful and I am so grateful. We are new to the area and needed a sibling doula for our two girls. I have historically very fast labors (this time was no different) and Leslie was quick to respond and took great of our other children. She was very resourceful, able to respond all of our questions regards our baby and very helpful with breastfeeding tips!

I can’t thank her enough for helping with tasks around the house (dishes, cleaning & laundry). She had a lot of attention to detail and would even make sure that I was hydrated and fill up my glass of water often.

She connected really well with our baby girl and took an amazing care of her when we were not around.

Becoming first-time parents during the COVID lockdown, could have been a recipe for disaster but there was no need to worry having Leslie's support and guidance! 

Highly professional, very responsive, at the same time flexible to meet the unique needs of our family (helped us during a move with our newborn)– are the three phrases that define Leslie. 

Thank you for the wonderful experience and for taking such great care of our baby girl. We would not even blink once to refer Leslie.

Leslie is an amazing sibling doula. We had a home birth for our second baby and needed someone to be able to stay with our two year old daughter. Leslie was amazing with our daughter; so engaging and fun. Neither me nor my husband had to worry about comforting her or entertaining her through out the entire labor and several hours afterwards. I’m fact, our daughter had one of the most fun days she’s ever had and told us about it many times afterwards. Leslie was also incredibly helpful, during our daughter’s nap she came and helped with the birth and she stayed at our house tidying up and making sure we were all fed after our labor doula and midwives had left. She was an essential part of our birth team and I can’t recommend her enough.
