Here is what a client named DaiJanai J. has to say about working with Nicki:
If you’re thinking about choosing Birth and Beyond DO IT! As a first time mom Nicki helped me feel confident and prepared for labor. And when I needed support postpartum she was there, whether it was tips to get rid of a clogged duct, someone to help with baby or just someone to talk to. Both me and my husband loved our visits with Nicki and will choose her again if we have another baby!
Birth Fee: $500 to $1300

Here is what a client named Matthew and Christina has to say about working with Beth:
Members of our extended famlies have used doulas and we were recommended a doula for (at least) our first pregenancy. We found Beth Mathis online and were excited to meet her. Beth did not disapppoint. As Christians, Beth was sensitive to our faith, and provided excellent professional care throughout pregenancy, labor, and post-birth. She has an engaging, intentional personality and we always felt well tended during each interaction.
Near the end of our pregnancy (38 weeks) our baby flipped into the breech position. Beth provided us with several proactive activities for us to practice in order to coax our baby to reorient into the correct direction. We ended up having an External Cephalic Version procedure in the hospital, which resulted in a success. We believe the activites and suggestions Beth provided were helpful in prepairing us for the Version and more than likely contributed to procedural success. This enabled us to go though the natural labor process, which was our hope for the preganancy.
During labor Beth was irreplaceable. She provided suggestions on adjusting our comfort levels for Christina as she went through the beginning parts of the difficult stages of labor. As labor maladies increased, Beth coached Christina in controlling her breathing, positioning, and other aspects of pain management. We can't imagine the experience of doing labor for the first time without a coaching.
Overall we highly recommend Beth to anyone who is interested in having professional assistance beyond medical staff. The medical staff will help in certain ways, but will not coach through the whole pregancy and birth process in the same way having a doula will. We are grateful for Beth and the excellent care she provided. Thank you, Beth!

Here is what a client named Gisselle Kuchenski has to say about working with Kelly:
I have so many wonderful things to say about my doula Kelly, this could easily be a 5 page essay so I will do my best to keep it short. First of all, Kelly is so connected to the birth community in this city, that she was able to tell me how the hospital I’d be giving birth at operates; so that I could feel confident about where I had chosen to go. She’s also a lactation specialist & I credit her to making my breastfeeding journey easy. As a FTM, I had so many questions, she never once made me feel dumb about what I was asking, instead she was always so loving, caring & educating in all her responses. She made me think about things I wouldn’t have even considered thinking about- which I’m so glad for because my birth/delivery took a totally different turn. I was in labor for about 40 hours before I had to get a C-Section. She was there for me through it ALL- helping me cope with contractions, walking the hospital halls with me, doing different methods that helped me push through the pain. She got not one hour of sleep or rest making sure she was there for me! My mom & husband were present but my mom doesn’t speak English & my husband was so sick he slept through most of it and Kelly was my advocate. When I didn’t think I could, she was my encouragement & made me feel secure about my choices. I would not have made it NEARLY as far without her presence there. You can genuinely see when one loves what they do and loves the community they serve & that’s Kelly. If you’re looking for a doula, look no further and choose her! Im leaving out so many details, because I could go on forever with all the little and big things she did for me. Take it from someone who didn’t think she’d need a doula because my mom and husband were gonna be present. I was wrong! Doulas are SO essential! Not to mention their support & care postpartum! Kelly's incredible! I cant recommend her enough!
