We used Elise's Doula remote services both pre and post-partum. I am a first time mom and felt overwhelmed with the amount of information available for pregnancy and newborn care. I did not have the time or energy to peruse all of the literature or attend courses and Elise was amazing at breaking it down into manageable bits. Then covid hit and I had anxiety about giving birth during this climate but Elise continued to support us through facetime visits. She taught us all about pregnancy self-care; coping mechanisms and pain management for labour as well as newborn care. After my bub was born she also made me a delicious Post-caesarian soup which helped with recovery and gave my body just the nutrition i needed. My labour was more complicated than I ever would have expected but having had her advice and care allowed us to feel confident in the decisions we made. I highly recommend Elise!
