I cannot recommend Brittany enough! I'm a very private person, so I was really hesitant about having a doula (seriously, another person to see me in such a vulnerable state ??) but my sister who had given birth a year prior told me I wouldn't regret it. She was right! I was concerned that having another person present might take away from the moment and make it less of a special family moment between my husband and I (the reason we planned a home birth with a midwife) but it actually did the exact opposite. Brittany was so thoughtful and helpful, and her willingness to notice things that needed to happen and take care of them freed up my husband to be completely present for me. I also tremendously appreciated having a sister in Christ with me, and found a lot of strength the times Brittany prayed for me. Brittany with her bag of tools was incredibly supportive and continually gave guidance to help things go smoother, and yet she never felt intrusive or that she was telling me what to do. She's very gentle and well-spoken and I appreciated that. My husband and I were both in full aggreement after the birth that we want Brittany to be our doula whenever we are giving birth again. If you are on the fence about a doula, I HIGHLY recommend Brittany. She won't be invasive, you will feel incredibly supported, your spouse will feel supported (it's a marathon for them too), and she will help guide you in decisions so you will be less likely to feel regret about choices you made during your birth. I can't recommend her enough!

If you're looking for a doula who pays attention to your wants and needs, who is caring and who is informative and educated.. Brittany is your Doula!

I had some anxiety throughout my pregnancy and Brittany made me feel at ease and informed the whole way through my pre natal experience and my birth. She helped me make decisions based on my birth plan and explained anything I didn't understand to ensure the decisions I made were based on full information with both the pros and cons.

My birth lasted over three days and she was there for it ALL. The highs and the lows. I couldn't ask for anyone more supportive and comforting to help me through this life changing experience.

Thank you a million times over and if anyone is looking for a doula, you've found her.

I truly do not know what we would've done without Brittany! Her hands on support through my pregnancy was unmatched. She thoughtfully answered all of my questions, helped ease any fears, and helped me feel comfortable and confident as we headed into an unplanned induction after I went 10 days overdue.

I was dead set against getting an epidural, yet knew that my labor would be intensified by the pitocin I was unable to avoid. Brittany not only helped guide me through every contraction of my day-long labor, but equipped my husband and I with the necessary language to advocate for the birth experience we wanted, even when our plans had to shift and change.

I truly believe that without Brittany's unrelenting prayer and support through the whole process, my first birth would've looked very different (and not in a good way).

I had a successful, unmedicated natural hospital birth with pitocin - something my nurses had never even experienced, and it's truly all thanks to Brittany.

Hiring a doula was one of the best decisions I made for my pregnancy and birth. From the very first conversation we had to her amazing banana bread at the very end, Brittnay provided me the love, compassion, and knowledge that I truly needed. She answered any and all questions, calmed my fears and anxieties, prayed for me and guided me during my pregnancy. She showed up big time at the birth (which my husband would agree) her knowledge and advocacy was a tremendous help and comfort. I 100% believe I was able to achieve the birth I always wanted (unmedicated vba2c), because she was a part of this journey! Absolutely invaluable!

I cannot say enough great things about Brittany. In our meetings, I learned so much about birth, the changes by body was going through and would go through during labor. She is a wealth of knowledge. My husband and I also took a childbirth education class with her and it was so informative and helpful for us. We always left every meeting with more knowledge and feeling better prepared for what was coming our way when our daughter decided to make her grand entrance.

She is kind, sweet, gentle, helpful, strong, and so easy to talk to. She was everything I needed during the birth of my daughter. I had a pretty intense birth experience and I honestly don't think I would have made it through without her support. She went the extra mile (even feeding me a sandwhich while I tried to nurse) and was a vital member of our birth team.

She is 5 stars all around and I can't recommend her enough.

Brittany is a compassionate, knowledgeable, and gifted doula! Her natural instincts combined with her passion and education make her an incredible resource to prepare you ahead of time and also exactly who you want in the room for such an important life event. I had an overwhelming sense of peace and trust as she helped guide us through the entire process. The information she shared gave us confidence in ourselves and her presence on the big day gave us the reassurance we needed. It's a vulnerable time to invite someone else into, but she is able to create a seamlessly safe and trusting environment even for a modest mom and emotional dad like us. I started out afraid to even talk about getting pregnant to having an incredible natural, unmedicated birth experience in a hospital setting. Brittany was imperative in this! She helped me move out of fear and into a beautifully positive birth story.

I believe that God made our bodies to do this and entrusted Brittany (and others like her) with the gifts needed to come alongside and help us through such a miraculous and difficult process!

We are so blessed to have found Brittany and we're able to have her as our doula. Thanks to Brittany, I felt so informed and prepared for my first birth. Brittany taught us so much and physiological birth and empowered us in our birth plan. During labor, I felt safe knowing she was by my side. I'm grateful for all of her resources and tools to help labor progress. Although I deviated from my birth plan, Brittany remained super supportive. She stayed with us in the hospital through a long labor and monitoring period afterwards. Debriefing my birth with her was incredibly helpful as well. On top of being an amazing doula, Brittany also photographed our birth, capturing the most special day of our lives! I would recommend Brittany to any pregnant woman in Austin and I would absolutely use Brittany's services again!

I am a first time mom and I knew I was having a big baby. (10 plus pounds at 39 weeks). Brittany empowered me to have faith that I could have my son naturally. I loved how much she was able to involve my husband through the whole process. I'm hard of hearing and she constantly advocated for the nurses to make it to where I could understand them. My baby was having trouble feeding the next day because he was tired. Brittany was willing to drop everything and come to the hospital right after spending 30 ish hours with me. As a ftm I couldn't have done it without her support.

This was my first pregnancy and from our initial phone consult,  I knew Brittany would be the Doula for me. She brings her knowledge and compassion about the birth process from the weeks leading up to birth to the early postpartum days. I had an unexpected hospital birth and when I transferred from the birthing center to the hospital, Brittany stayed with me the entire time. She was an excellent coach when I needed her to be and was also an emotional and spiritual support when I needed prayer to get through transition phase. I felt that she was the one person who understood my wants and needs and made me feel validated and supported during my difficult birth. I couldn't have gotten  through my birth without her and she is a champion to anyone with whom she works with.
