When my husband and I embarked on the journey of welcoming our first child into the world, we knew we wanted someone special to be by our side. From the moment we met Bethany, our incredible birth doula, we knew she was the perfect fit for us.

Bethany possesses that rare and beautiful quality of striking the perfect balance between listening to our needs and gracefully guiding us through the more intense and unpredictable moments of childbirth. Her warm and compassionate nature immediately put us at ease, and we trusted her. It felt as if she intuitively understood the ebb and flow of our emotions, knowing when to step in with her calming presence and when to quietly step back to let us experience the moment. She was also there with invaluable advice and reassurance when we felt overwhelmed, providing us with the strength and confidence we needed at every stage. She empowered us, ensuring that we felt in control and informed at all times.

I am forever grateful to Bethany for the vital role she played in welcoming our baby boy into the world. Her dedication to her role and her unwavering support meant everything to us during such a monumental moment in our lives. It’s safe to say that I hope Bethany will be with us for all the births of our future children.

If you are considering a birth doula, I cannot recommend Bethany enough. Her combination of professionalism, empathy, and wisdom will undoubtedly enrich your birthing experience as she did for ours. Thank you, Bethany, for being our guide and our anchor—you made our birth story beautifully ours.

Bethany was an excellent addition to our support team. She was incredibly knowledgeable, caring, kind and supportive. She took the time to get to know our family and respected our wishes and preferences. Her coaching during labour and delivery was so helpful and greatly contributed to our positive home birth experience. We loved working with Bethany and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a doula in the Calgary area. She is the best! :)

We first did not even consider getting a doula for our first born. But pregnancy became a rollercoaster of emotions and halfway through I had to deal  with the passing away of a parent as well. Having Bethany on our side gave us emotional security and the peace of mind we needed.
Without family in town it is great to know that you have an extra person in the room that is only there for you and who represents only the interests of your family. 
Bethany was great in that way and it was amazing to know she was there.
Our labour went extremely fast so we didn’t have the slow contraction build up. Bethany did everything in her power to be there, and was extremely supportive during and after labour.

Having a doula was not something that even crossed our minds when we had our first child but when we found ourselves having our second baby during a pandemic we knew we needed the extra support and we definitely found the perfect person - Bethany.

Bethany was absolutely incredible from day one and was so supportive throughout the pregnancy. As my husband had to stay at home with our toddler during the birth of our son, Bethany was my only support person with me in the hospital and her calm and caring personality made the experience so amazing even though my husband couldn't be there. Bethany kept me calm, had so many great suggestions on how to make things easier and kept my husband updated on what was happening the entire time. 

I could not have done it without Bethany by my side and if I have another child she is definitely going to be my doula again. I feel so so lucky to have found such a wonderful person to be there when my son was born and I will forever be grateful for everything that Bethany has done for our family ??

Bethany is an exceptional doula. From our prenatal visits to the birth, and postpartum check-ins, she was helpful, informative, compassionate and essential. During our prenatal visits, she helped us plan our birth, think through all of our options, and provided us with resources and materials to make informed decisions. We chose to give birth at home with midwives, with whom she worked incredibly well. She was available to us as soon as we needed to call her during labour, and stayed with us until hours after the birth. She was an absolutely essential part of our birthing team, providing me with continued physical and emotional support through contractions, reminding me to breath, helping me through the pain, and offering position changes, different comfort measures, and making sure we stayed fed and hydrated. She provided amazing emotional and practical support for my husband as well, helping him to support me, providing guidance, and working seamlessly with him as a team to support me through the process. Her technical knowledge is outstanding, and her attention to detail and record keeping helped us fill in important details of our birth after the fact. Bethany could not be better suited to be a doula, as her calm, compassionate, focused demeanour made me feel so supported and safe. We could not recommend her highly enough to anyone considering a doula as part of their birth team.
