Postpartum limits/restrictions: Postpartum care is a service that primarily takes care of the new mom and assisting her as her body heals and her and her partner adjust to the newborn season. That can look differently from family to family. For one it may be taking care of baby while mom showers and takes care of herself. For another it may be light household work that helps set the mom up for success for the rest of the day/week. For some it may be preparing light meals and massage for mom as she rests. It also can include instruction on newborn care. Nighttime it can mean taking care of baby so exhausted parents can have a full nights sleep. Working with Paige was fantastic! She was professional, knowledgeable, and an integral part of our birth team. I knew I'd want photos of my birth and Paige captured so many memories for us to look back on and I'm thrilled about that! I also knew going in roughly what I wanted my birth plan to look like. Paige was instrumental in helping build that plan more specifically. She, with her wealth of information, walked us through every scenario we could encounter, many of which I didn't know to think of. I felt well prepared for any type of birth I might have and empowered to take on the unmedicated birth I'd envisioned. When the time came, Paige cared for us so well and since we had prepared so extensively together, I had no doubt that Paige would advocate for me if I felt I couldn't do so myself. She encouraged me to keep going when I felt like giving up and had tools to help alleviate the intensity of my contractions. Because of her, I had the confidence to trust my body to bring my sweet baby girl into the world.

Imagine receiving invaluable support during the first 48 hours home from the hospital that eliminates the confusion of establishing a pumping and breastfeeding routine while receiving care for your baby that allows you to focus on essential rest and self-care- that’s what I got with Paige.

If you want to work with a Doula, this is your sign- hire Paige! She was a God-send. We did the First 48 service coupled with a few weekly visits the first couple weeks after coming home from the hospital. If it weren’t for her being there to help be begin my pumping routine, I would have spent hours researching and going through trial & error which is something I don’t think I could have handled in those first few fragile days without losing my sanity. She’s a wealth of knowledge- eliminated so much confusion, and was a joy to just talk to and have by my side for mental and emotional support.

Paige is an amazing Doula! She helped to give me the knowledge I needed to have the birth I desired. During early labor, she was responsive. When it came time, she was quick to arrive at the hospital where I gave birth. Paige was calm and very helpful during labor. She led the way to create a serene atmosphere in the labor and delivery room. I loved having her advocate for me and protect my labor space because she is very passionate about what she does and applies her knowledge and skills in an effective manner. She was very supportive during the postpartum period as well. I am very appreciative of her and what she has done for me and my baby. I highly recommend choosing Paige as a doula!

I highly recommend Paige. I had a vaginal breech birth and I believe Paige played a huge role in my success. She provided me with excellent physical and emotional support. She helped me to have confidence in myself and have the birth I wanted. After the birth we had to hospitalize our baby at 4 weeks old with RSV. Paige provided us with even more emotional support and helped us through the difficult time. I also love that she provided photos and labor notes so I could document my birth! Thank you so much Paige!!

Working in the women's health industry myself, I had heard amazing things about Paige before my husband and I even found out we were pregnant. So many of my patients spoke of her wisdom and compassion through their own birth experiences and I was eager to meet her and invite her to be a part of our birth team. From the first time we spoke, I was immediately impressed with Paige's knowledge, her disarming friendliness and her warmth. I felt like I had known her forever. We learned so much from her prenatal sessions and childbirth class, leaning on her to help us create a birth plan we believed in and felt empowered by. Later in to our third trimester, we found out our son was breech and no matter how hard we tried we could not get him to turn over. I felt so much anxiety and fear around the thought of a cesarean section and was mourning the loss of the birth experience I had dreamed of. But Pagie was so kind and graceful in the way she helped me to navigate through these fears and come to a place of true peace and empowerment about having surgery. Our son's birth was the most beautiful experience and we have Paige to thank for so much of that. She was there to advocate for us, pray over us and celebrate with us as we welcomed our beautiful boy in to the world. Once we were home, she contined to help me navigate breastfeeding in such a positive and gentle way. She is truly amazing at what she does from beginning to end and I cannot recommend her enough!

Paige was exactly what I needed leading up to and during the birth of my second child. After a traumatic first birth, I knew I needed to do something different. She was there to answer any questions leading up to my due date and helped advocate for my preferences when I had to go in for a c section. Her class was also exactly what my husband needed to be knowledgeable and ready to help me during birth. I am also extremely grateful for all the pictures she took during birth! Having her there gave my husband the freedom to focus on being there for me.

Paige was a great support to my wife and I from the time we had our first conversation through postpartum. She educated us throughout the process which gave us the understanding and confidence to make needed decisions.  She's very thoughtful and genuinely cares for those she serves.  The value she brought was totally worth the investment and I would recommend working with her. Thank you for the great service Paige!

Paige was so helpful to us all throughout the pregnancy with helpful suggestions and information.  She was so knowledgeable and was eager to educate and train us on anything we needed to know.  If she didn't know something she was willing to try and find an answer.  During the birth, she was right by our side offering support and care at any moment. So glad to have had Paige with us during the birth of our daughter!

Where do I begin?!  To get right to the point, Paige is wonderful and choosing her as our Doula was the best decision we made. My husband and I moved to Huntsville just two months before I was due with our first baby. I was researching a birth team prior to our move and when I came across Paige's website I had a strong sense I needed to reach out to her.  When we first met via Zoom, I loved her kind and warm spirit and knew from our first meet that she was the one for us. I was anxious about transferring my care so late into my pregnancy but she was able to refer me to a Doctor in Huntsville who was completely aligned with my goals and vision for my birth. I truly feel so blessed that I was able to connect last minute with such an incredible team for my pregnancy and birth!

My initial understanding of hiring a Doula would be that they would be a great support for my labor and delivery.  However, Paige exceeded my expectations and understanding by being a tremendous support before and after my birth.  I am beyond grateful for her care and knowledge that helped me prepare for birth and become a mom for the first time.

Paige was a saving grace for me during my second pregnancy. I had a breech baby and was terrified of a c-section but having her there to calm me down and cheer me on was priceless. In the end she was more valuable to both me and my husband than we ever thought possible. I highly recommend her to anyone in search of a doula and will be using her (God-willing more babies) in the future!

My wife and I had a great experience with Paige at Imagine Birth. What really set Paige apart was her knowledge of the state of the art in the birth process, her personal approach as a doula, and the extra mile to which she goes to make sure her parents and babies have the support they need to have the best possible birth experience.

One of the primary drivers for my wife and I to search for a doula was because neither of us had any familiarity with the birth process and wanted to have an advocate that could provide us the ability to make decisions with confidence to reduce the stress on my wife before, during, and after birth. When looking for doulas, we primarily searched for a doula who demonstrated a strong knowledge of the process, had experience, and (most importantly) who we connected with well. During the in home sessions, Paige was easy to connect with and it gave us more space to ask questions, understand the process better, and come out with an effective birth plan. Our sessions didn't feel rushed and Paige really made space to get to know us and to teach us about the birth process. Her personal connection with us and her knowledge of the science and medical practice gave us much more confidence that we could make the best decisions and also helped us set our expectations for if and when things don't go according to plan. Even though parts of the birth of our son didn't go according to plan, it helped us enjoy the process significantly more by having better understanding of what was happening and what to expect. Even after birth, Paige supported us through NICU visits, post-partum care, and breastfeeding and spent a lot of extra time with us at the hospital beyond what was expected. Her support through the birth of our son was invaluable and allowed us to make better decisions that made the process smoother and more enjoyable. I would highly recommend!

Paige provided night time support during the weeks after I gave birth to my twins. She was super professional and flexible. She seamlessly came onto the front lines and helped me survive those first few months. She offered emotional and physical support, provided helpful guidance on my recovery as well as breastfeeding twins/troubleshooting sleep/fussiness issues. Paige was an investment I would make over and over again.

Paige is a super understanding person to any situation you face during my pregnancy. She has an open heart for things you decide and can support through it. If I went through things that I’m unsure of, she would help you and give you the information you need along the way but any medical advice will still come from your doctor. She has a really good heart and will not just help you conquer those fears during pregnancy but also encourage and guide you along the way. I had my baby girl with her support and my husband’s at the hospital even the procedure did not go out as we planned and it went to a completely different route from natural birth to emergency C-section, I still think she helped me in so many different ways. Without her, I would not be able to go through the severe pain I’ve never had in my life since my parents couldn’t come and she definitely helped you with her super good hands on massage to help me relieve during the contraction time in the hospital. If I have to do this over again, doula is a must and Paige will ne the number one person choice I go for. Don’t hesitate if you are not sure whether you need a doula or not because when you need it or know you need one, Paige will never leave you alone. Thanks again for the relationship we built upon over time and she even helped me to connect and meet another new friend! I absolutely appreciate every moment and every chats we had. Finally, I want to say Paige will always be there for you during your pregnancy and she is the one you need it.

I interviewed several doulas in Alabama to help me navigate the completion of a surrogacy journey. Conversations with Paige didn't feel like a business transaction. Instead, she expressed a genuine sense of care that made her stand out from the rest. Working with Paige was no different. She was consistently present, compassionate, and knowledgeable in her responses. Paige brought ease and clarity to our experience and I'm forever grateful for her ability to turn a stressful situation into a positive experience and outcome. Would 10/10 hire her again!

I was lead to Paige around 32 weeks pregnant after two disappointing and discouraging trips to the OB emergency room. I had experienced extremely low blood pressure throughout pregnancy and reached the point of fainting frequently, so my personal OB instructed me to go to the ER anytime it happened during later term. I left both times feeling unheard and almost inferior, invalidated. For the first time in my pregnancy, I was nervous for labor. I didn't want to feel pressured or bullied, so I turned to Google. I didn't know what to expect from a doula. Hollywood had me imagining Melissa McCarthy's character from The Back-up Plan. I just knew I wanted to feel heard and supported. I also wanted my baby here safely, whether that meant all natural, medicated, or by c-section, and I didn't want to feel judged in my decisions or swayed one direction. It only took one meeting, one conversation. Paige was there for both of us every step of way, and I am confident my experience would have been far different without her involved. I felt so strong, empowered, and confident in every step and decision. She made sure I felt comfortable in all aspects and actually somewhat prepared! Looking back on my experience, I can honestly say I am so proud of myself and my body, and I most certainly have Paige to thank. I also have another friend for life! Our only regret was not finding her sooner.

I have zero regrets hiring a doula and working with Paige for my pregnancy, labor, and delivery.  Paige truly cared about my concerns and helped me work through any anxiety during my pregnancy.  She was respectful of my wishes and helped me work through a birth plan that followed my beliefs and made me feel comfortable.  During the labor, Paige was the advocate that my husband and I needed.  She was able to help voice our wishes when we were overwhelmed and was there to explain things and offer suggestions on next steps when we were unsure of what to do.  She was knowledgable on different positions to try during labor.  Things never seem to go as planned during labor, so having her there to help us through the things we didn't think we would experience and through the complications was a huge comfort to myself and to my husband.  Overall, I definitely recommend Paige as a doula.  She will listen to you and be there for you through the entire process.

I cannot speak more highly of Paige!

As first time parents, we didn't know where to start. During our meetings, she was incredibly informative and very supportive of whatever decision we made regarding our birthplan.

But what really impressed me was that she was able to hone in on how my husband and I handle potential confrontation (with medical personnel) and how we work as a team. She made a point to discuss how I interact with people and my husband when in intense pain. Paige knew how to prepare us both, individually and as a team, for the marathon of labor!

Ultimately, our little boy ended up being 9lbs 4oz and 21.25 inches at birth and with my size (I am 4' 7"), we took my OB's advice to have a scheduled C-section. Even then, Paige was accommodating in her services, switching to focus on breastfeeding and post-partum follow up and care.

Paige will do anything in her power to take care of her clients during the miracle of birth. She is truly the best of the best!

Paige made all the difference in my birth experience, and I would highly recommend her. I don't think giving birth could have been any easier, and it was in large part due to Paige advocating for me and my OBGYN being patient during the birth. Paige stayed with us during the hospital, provided invaluable information about the process and people involved at the hospital, and taught me how to breastfeed my baby. I dont think I would still be breastfeeding without her recommendations to breastfeed very quickly after birth and establish a pumping routine in the hospital. Her services are certainly worth the cost, and I will be use her services again if we have another baby.

When we think pregnancy we often think of women, but men have a role to play that can be very significant. That role, for me, was Wife-Support. While it may seem easy it can be very hard to comfort a woman who knows that you know more about Monday night football than you do about time between contractions. Regardless, my personal goal was still to do whatever it took to make my wife feel safe and secure. That was my most significant desire for my wife because when she feels safe and secure she can then relax and enjoy the beauty of our pregnancy. While my heart was in the right place, there was just so much information that I didn't have, and that's where a Doula can be very helpful. I personally wanted a Doula to arm me with information so that I could comfort and reassure my wife when she was worried. Paige proved to not only be a great source of information but a great source of comfort. Paige was very relateable and down to Earth, and that was a blessing because we spent days in the hosptial room together supporting and advocating for my wife. Yes, I did say advocating. When you go into a hospital with doctors and nurses who have delivered thousands of babies, you can feel like a number, but when you have a Doula like Paige, you go in prepared with a birth plan. Paige was a god-send. She took notes on the medications the nurses were giving my wife. She wrote down the times they administered the meds. She helped me to not only be there with my wife, but she helped me to be "present" and fully in the moment. That was the most beautiful gift she could have given me, and as a husband, that's what I wanted most.

If any of you are questioning whether a Doula is beneficial, they are. If any of you are wondering who you should choose, I recommend Paige.

I hope your pregnancy journey is blessed.

Paige was absolutely amazing as our doula and I would highly recommend her to everyone I know who is having or thinking about having a baby! From beginning to end, Paige was attentive to our needs and very knowledgeable about the entire pregnancy, labor, childbrith, and postpartum process. She helped us make very tough birthplan decisions in the beginning and helped us to be very flexible during about labor journey, which helped to decrease the amount of stress we felt during a very stressful time. Our labor didn't go as planned due to complications, but Paige went above and beyond during our extended hospital stay of 5 days, which ended in c-section. She became a nurse, a mother figure, a sleep relief for my husband, a watchman while I was asleep, and an overall advocate. Having Paige there made the unknowns of my complications bearable. I literally could not imagine having anyone else in the room. Paige has become more than just my doula, she has become a friend and we look forward to working with her with our next child!

I could write a novel about how incredible Paige is. I knew as soon as I got pregnant that I wanted her to be my doula. And while she wasn't in the actual delivery room (COVID stinks), she still went above and beyond to be present when we finally went to the hospital. Over the course of my pregnancy, Paige was very consistent to check-in on not only me but my husband as well. When we got closer to showtime, we met and created a birth plan, went over comfort measures, breastfeeding information, and so many other things I'm probably forgetting. When it came time, Paige showed up in the middle of the night and brought such a confident peace into our home. We are first time parents, so everything was new, foreign and scary. But she helped us (especially my husband) feel confident and collected and she reminded us of tips, positions, and affirmations that we really could do this.

After laboring at home for 20+ hours, we decided it was time to head to the hospital to see what was going on. We received the news that I was preeclamptic, and Paige was there (via text messaging with my husband) to encourage us and help us stay focused on what the real end-goal was. Never once did Paige make me feel invalid or unheard, but always seen and encouraged me. While my birth-plan didn't go the exact way we planned, Paige's wisdom and guidance plays a big role in what potentially saved both mine and my baby's lives.

I would, and do, recommend & support Paige 1000%. You NEED a doula. You need PAIGE as your doula. <3

Paige is amazing. I hired her post surgery when I couldn’t pick up my 9 month old. And Paige came into our lives making my recovery so smooth. She identified needs and became the solution without me asking. She became an extension of me while I took the time to rest and recover. Often we as women put on our super hero capes and push through whatever pain we may be going through in order to care for our families. But this time it felt great to take off the cape and allow myself to heal. I only wish I’d spent the money to hire her during my postpartum phase too. She is worth every penny.

Paige is absolutely wonderful! She is so knowledgeable and attentive. I was 8 weeks postpartum and so close to giving up on breastfeeding. I was in tears as I messaged Paige and asked if she could help figure out how to get my baby to latch without it being so painful. She showed up to my house so quickly and the tips and tricks she taught me helped tremendously. We haven’t had any issues since then! I’m so thankful! My only regret is that I didn’t have her in my delivery and that I didn’t call her sooner!

Paige was a blessing for us and our twin 6 week old twins. We desperately needed some sleep and help and she came to our rescue. She was so polite, extremely helpful in everything we asked/ needed her to do. She changed them, fed them both at each feeding, soothed them and put them back to sleep. She was cautious and wore a mask that we requested her to wear without hesitation, cleaned up the room after her shift and was very pleasant to work with. We are extremely thankful for her and will use her again and again!

I absolutely love Paige! My baby is almost 9 months old and we still keep in contact. When I first met Paige I kept the appointment purely out of courtesy and thought I had already made a decision on who I wanted my doula to be. I was really particular and the kind of person that only wanted my husband and the midwives and my doula there - no moms or anyone else. After meeting Paige though we had an instant connection. Even though my baby ended up being breech and I needed to have a c section the resource she has been for me was so helpful. The hospital allowed her to come into the OR with us and she took amazing photos that still make me cry. The birth I ended up having was not the one I wanted or intended but having Paige help me voice what was important to me and stand my ground was very helpful. She also called me the night before my c section to make sure I was doing good emotionally. Being pregnant, giving birth and going through postpartum is just as much mental and emotional as it is physical and having someone who can keep you in a good head space is invaluable no matter what kind of birth you go through. Having a doula you can trust is a must for me!

Paige served as our postpartum doula after the birth of our daughter starting in February 2020.  I myself have a disability and require assistance with household chores in addition to child care duties.

Paige has consistently exceeded my expectations.  We started out by asking for her help with basic child care for our daughter so that I could get some extra sleep while my husband worked.  However, Paige doesn’t feel right about sitting idle while my daughter naps.  Ever since, Paige has washed my dishes, made bottles, done my laundry, cooked meals for us and the baby and done anything else that I can come up with.  She was previously employed as a professional organizer; my closet has never looked better!

She is very professional, arrives for work on time and hates to leave if she hasn’t completed a task.  She provides the same level of care for my daughter as she did for her own three adult children.   If I am being honest, I don’t think that we could have navigated our first few months of parenthood without her.  Any new parents would be lucky to have someone like Paige, especially if they do not have family around to help them learn the ropes.

I have two little ones but never had experience with a doula. So every step of working with Paige was new to me and from the beginning and the end, I was glad I decided work with Paige.

She was honest with her experiences, her knowledge and what she can offer. She was always willing to listen and learn about me and my birth plan.

Her prenatal visits gave me not only a lot of information but also ideas of calm and soothe my chaotic pregnancy life with two kids. She was just like a good friend and big auntie. Plus, all the exercise tips she gave me helped me a lot during the last month!

On the day of delivery, she was quick to help me made a right decision to go to hospital with reminding me check things I should bring(thank you from mommy brain!).

When I saw her at the entrance of hospital it felt like I have my mom on my side. I think that's because she's been a great company through my pregnancy.

During the labor, she helped me with methods we planned to use and encourged me to choose other options hospital offers. Because my labor was rapid and I wasn't quite conscious because of pain, we didn't have chance to explore all the methods we planned to try but her presence and encouraging words were enough for me. Being there with me, for me and keeping me positive and encourged were what I needed and she did her job 100%. I honestly don't remember most of things that had happened during the labor because I was in great pain but I do remember her encouraging words and gentle massage. What else did I need that time.

One extra big thanks is because my delivery happened 3-4am I was super tired but thankfully Paige took great photos and videos that me and my family could enjoy.

To sum up my experience with Paige, she was there for me. That is what I hoped, wanted and needed. My request and wish was fulfilled! Thank you Paige!!

Paige was incredible from start to finish. She is warm and supportive. In a difficult time of having many of my closest friends all move far away from within a 6 month period, she came into my life with light and a smile and provided a sense of family that I deeply needed throughout the experience of birthing our 4th child. I was incredibly successful in my birthing and I managed the pain exponentially better than the other 3 births. I must add, I was apprehensive about having a doula, maybe moreso since I am a person of color. I was moved by this sweet lady who helped me feel welcomed and accepted and even loved more, or gave me a sense of priveldged despite and even in light of my race. She has a heart that can help anyone. I highly recommend Paige for your doula and birthing experience.

Paige was the most amazing person we could have ever hope for during the birth of our first child. My wife wanted a natural birth and neither of us knew what to expect. We started looking around for doulas and after some research, we came across Paige. We spoke with her and a number of other doulas before hiring her. It was very obvious from the first phone call she was the right one.

Paige had so much imperative guidance, emotional support, tips, tricks, ways of explaining the various processes in terms my wife and I could understand and so, so much more. She had a bag of goodies that provided comfort. She knew of massages and different positions to help ease the pain and help align the birth. She was there for us anytime we needed leading up to the birth, including a nightly text message asking us how we were doing. The actual labor lasted 30+ hours and Paige was with us every step of the way. Everyone was exhausted but she was there still championing what we wanted, interacting with the medical staff and ensuring we were comfortable. Paige is thoughtful, kind, patient, knowledgable and guinely cares about mothers, fathers, new borns and new families.

If you are considering a doula, look no further, Paige is the exact person you want.

We were so thankful to have Paige as part of our birth experience for our first child! Before the birth, she shared helpful information about the labor process, how to stimulate labor naturally and reposition the baby, etc. When I was in labor, Paige worked well with my husband and the medical staff to provide both support and comfort for me. Paige is calm, knowledgeable, and experienced. She made a huge difference in helping us have a positive birth experience!
