Client Testimonials for Grace Mikus

Post a testimonial for Grace Mikus

Working with Grace was indeed "laboring with grace."  What struck me about her was how prepared and education-focused she was at our interview (she even showed us some hands-on techniques, which was really helpful for us).  What I wanted was another support person, and I really appreciated how available and quick she was able to hear our needs, questions, and get back to us with an answer (immediately or to look into it more to provide a thorough answer, often with a video link to demonstrate something).

The kind of funny thing about my birth was that I decided to get a doula at 38 weeks.  So I contacted her, interviewed her (and others), made my decision, and met her at the hospital within one week.  Even with just a short period of time knowing Grace, I am so grateful to have had her with us.  She supported my husband and me through phone and email before we arrived - and beautifully supported both of us during our labor and delivery.  We both felt very comfortable with her.  She genuinely cares, is very responsive to your needs (and very timely), and has great questions and tips to help you figure out what's important to you about your birth experience so you can articulate it and make it happen.  It was a really wonderful experience to have her be there - even just for questions and checking in about the experience.

I'm in awe of all of the time, education, and heart that Grace gives to her clients.
