Rose was great! Her calm demeanor was just what I wanted! She offered my husband and I the support we needed during labor and after. While never getting in between my midwife and I, she took care of keeping track of contractions and relaying details to my midwife during labor so my husband could focus on me and I could focus on labor. She was always available and encouraging. I would definitely recommend her to other expectant mothers!

There are not enough good words to reccomend Rose as highly as she deserves based on the care she gave me. During our two prenatal appointments, she was very engaged in learning my specific needs and areas of concern which carried over perfectly during my labor and delivery. She was able to meet me at my home to support me through the later stages of early labor into active labor. She was encourgaing and informative about different movements to encourgage progression and pain relief. She was on call and readily available for three weeks prior to my due date and was very responsive while trying to determine via text if it was "go time".

After spending an initial 8+ hours with me in what we thought was active labor, we took a recess, when active labor did start, her backup doula was able to attend for the first 7-8 hours of my hospital admissions while Rose was present for the remaining 7-8 hours of laboring. She was critical support for my partner and myself. There were times I felt pressured by the medical staff to make decisions and Rose created openings in the discussion for me to ask the questions I needed and take time to think. She was calm and a exemplar of rationality when circumstances necessitated we stray from my birth plan. She provided invaluable support to my partner while I was under general anesthesia for my delivery.

We had a postparte=um appointment at my home the day after I got home from the hospital. Being able to connect at that time, Rose was able to fill in gaps of my recollection during labor that /i had considered unanswerable questions. The clarity she provided solidified for me that despite all the cnditions being pressent for a truamatic labor and delivery, I feel nothing but empowered and blessed to have experienced the L&D tthat i had. Thank you, Rose!

I can't say enough good things about  Rose, and I can't imagine my birth experience without her! She met with us twice before the birth and once after, she checked on me frequently in the couple weeks leading up to the birth, and she was a rock star during my labor. She applied counterpressure with every contraction, had essential oils and other pain relief techniques ready, brought snacks for me, kept me hydrated, and her presence allowed my husband to be fully in the moment. She is worth her weight in gold! I highly recommend her.

If I had to choose a few words to describe Rose as my doula, it would be compassionate, experienced, and educational. She listened to my wants and needs, understood me like she's been a doula for years. I had a very rough pregnancy and was in the ICU for 4 days during my 1st trimester and so my stress rate was at an all time high just thinking about delivery due to my complications. I made the decision to have Rose as my doula in my 3rd trimester and my labor and delivery was the best out of my 3 kids! She has so much knowledge on childbirth and was always there for me if I had any questions or concerns and always gave me such good suggestions on what to do. Her communication to my Dr and nurses was very polite and she made sure I was taken very well care of physically and emotionally, she even brought food and snacks for me. She respected all my wishes and never made me feel awkward or uneasy, she always had a big heart of understanding and was always just a phone call or text away. What I appreciated the most about Rose was her knowledgeable support she gave since it helped me breeze through the best birth I had so far!
