We are so happy that we found Katie and worked with her through our pregnancy and delivery. She is extremely knowledgeable, supportive and very kind. We felt prepared and educated after completing her birthing classes. Katie always text to check in with us and had good recommendations and advice before, during and after the birth of our baby. We highly recommend Katie and thank her for being there for our family during a very special time!

Katie encapsulated my placenta and it was an amazing experience! She was so knowledgeable and didn't mind all my questions. Her calm energy and sweet passion for what she does, radiated from her. She was respectful of our space and left it exactly how she found it. If you're considering encapsulating, I highly recommend Katie!

My second baby was not planned and my husband was very sick when we found out I was pregnant, so when I hired Katie for her doula services my life felt messy. There was a strong chance that my husband would be unavailable throughout my pregnancy and delivery and I needed to know that someone would be by my side when the time came to meet my new daughter. Almost nothing went as I planned. My intention was to deliver with same midwife and standalone birth center that my first child was born at, but that went out the window at 36 weeks. She was presenting breach suddenly and with that came a transfer to OB/GYN care and kicked off a waterfall of multiple complications that landed me in the hospital with an induction at 38 weeks. Baby had flipped back to head down, thankfully, but the doc had set a 24 hour time limit on attempt to induce, otherwise they would be forced to do a c-section. I felt out of control and unprepared and scared. There was a point at 8cm that I was no longer progressing and the doctor began discussing a c-section. Katie was there, encouraging me and explaining to us a few options that we might try as a last ditch effort. We decided getting on my knees might really help and shortly after I reached 10cm and my daughter was delivered safely!

Katie is open and loving and stuck with me through the roller coaster of pregnancy and birth. She listened to my fears and held a safe space for me to freak out when my plans went south. She will always be a special person to our family!

My labor was about 40 hours and ultimately ended in a transfer from the Birth Center to the hospital with an unplanned c-section. Katie was extremely calm and reassuring every step of the way which was exactly what I needed. She helped remind me throughout the entire process that everything would be okay. Towards the end when I felt the weakest, she helped me remember how strong I am. Her support throughout the entire process; from pregnancy to Labor to breastfeeding and postpartum was exactly what I needed!
