I found Averjill on a google search for black doulas in the west palm beach area. I was very adamant in getting a doula to assist with my pregnancy; especially with the high cases of African American women dying during child birth. There were only two black doulas in my area. I chose her just based on her profile picture. Her smile alone ensured me that she would steer me in the right direction. I had a very rough pregnancy and all though Averjill wasn't able to be with me in the delivery room she assisted me in so many amazing ways. She made me feel comfortable and at ease. She was extremely knowledgeable, especially about things I didn't know could happen during pregnancy. I am so grateful to have found her. Averjill is truly an angel.

My experience with Averjill was excellent. She provided me with a lot and good information. I didn't know much because it was my first baby but she made sure that everything goes as plan when I give birth. If it wasn't for Averjill I don't know what I would do . So Thank you !

Present, patient, comforting, and informed are just a few words that I would use to describe my experience with Averjill as a doula. Her calm, peaceful, bedside manner was just what I needed. As a first-time mother, I struggled with PPD and wasn't really able to explain what I needed. She provided nutritional counseling, a listening ear, and effective solutions that helped me over that mountain. With her help, I was able to find myself again and be the nurturing and attentive mother my little one needed. I will always be grateful to Averjill for her attentive care and expertise.
