Post a testimonial for Henriette Angué

Where do I even begin. Henriette didn't just support me through or after birth. She carried our whole family through one of the most overwhelming and beautiful chapters of our lives, and I will never forget what she gave us.
My daughter arrived fast. Almost too fast. A whirlwind entry into the world that left me shaken in ways I hadn't anticipated. After the birth, the real storm began. My little girl was fussy and unsettled from the start, breastfeeding felt like a battle I was losing every single day, and somewhere underneath the exhaustion and the love, a quiet darkness crept in that I now recognize as mild form of postpartum depression. Meanwhile, my son, just two and a half years old and suddenly sharing his world, needed his mama too. And my husband was doing his best, working full days and coming home to a household turned upside down. We were all trying so hard, and somehow still not keeping up.
Henriette saw all of it. Not just the baby, not just the birth. All of it. She showed up with warm meals she had lovingly prepared herself, nourishing food that reminded my body it deserved care too. She brought holistic and homeopathic support that I now swear by. She sat with me through the hard conversations, the tearful ones I didn't even know I needed to have. She helped me find my footing with breastfeeding with such patience and gentleness that I never once felt like a failure. She noticed my son too, made him feel seen in the newborn chaos, and helped restore a rhythm in our home when everything felt off-balance. What Henriette offers goes beyond what I thought a doula was. She is a healer, a steady hand, a warm presence who meets you exactly where you are. I felt held. Truly held.
If you are pregnant and wondering how on earth you'll manage it all, please reach out to Henriette. She will help you find the beauty in it, even on the hardest days. I am so deeply grateful she was ours.

Having Henriette support me in my postpartum weeks made a meaningful difference to our home. With two babies under two and a dog, things can feel pretty chaotic, but from the moment she walked in, she brought such a calm, steady presence.
Knowing Henriette is a mother herself (to two children) gave me an added level of comfort and trust in her guidance. She instinctively knew what was needed, often before I did.
One of the biggest gifts she gave me was the space to rest and recharge. She made it possible for me to step away, shower, and feel a little more like myself again — something that’s so easy to lose in those early days.
One moment that really stayed with me was when she offered to help meal prep for my toddler after I mentioned I'd bought all the ingredients. She quietly got on with prepping everything while also taking care of my newborn and I was able to rest. It made me feel incredibly cared for and supported.
Beyond her time in our home, Henriette’s support continued. She shared helpful resources and links, offered companionship, and checked in between visits, which made me feel supported on an ongoing basis rather than just during her hours with us.
I would wholeheartedly recommend Henriette to any family navigating postpartum — she brings not just practical help, but a level of care, intuition, and calm that is incredibly special.
