Katharine was there for my family and I after the birth of our 4th child.  She went above and beyond to help me and my family.  I really appreciated her willingness to jump in and help out wherever needed. She knew exactly what to do and how to help.  Katharine is kind, genuine, attentive and a wonderful resource. Her background in education and positive energy makes her a great fit for families looking for someone to help out with older siblings. Being a mother herself she has a deep understanding of how to provide for mothers, babies, and families. I am very thankful for her support. She truly has a gift for what she does and I highly recommend Katharine.

I cannot begin to express enough praise for Katherine.  She made the transition to motherhood so much easier for me and my family after the birth of our daughter in January 2020.  She took the time to get to know us and be a resource even before our baby arrived.  She visited our home twice to ensure that we had all of the essentials to care for a newborn as well as product suggestions to help ease the childbirth experience.  She would email and text regularly as I approached my due date, and when our baby arrived 2+ weeks early, she was flexible and able to start working with us earlier than we had initially anticipated.

Katherine is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to babies and was a HUGE resource, especially as it relates to breastfeeding, establishing a routine/sleep schedule, etc.  She also made sure that as a new mom I got the appropriate amount of nutrition and rest.  When the baby was asleep she would cook meals for me (including delicious “milk inducing” cookies), clean up around the house, etc.  She also kept a daily summary for us to reference w/r/t “all things baby” (# of feedings, diaper changes, length of naps, tummy time, etc.) which was very helpful.  In addition to having Katherine help during the day, we also occasionally used her for overnights in a “night nurse” capacity which allowed my husband and I to get some much needed uninterrupted sleep.

Katherine is a self-starter who really takes the initiative when it comes to providing the best care for your baby.  I could not recommend a better person to trust with your child.  My daughter is now 5 months old and Katherine continues to be a huge support/resource to me as a first- time mom.  More importantly, I consider her a friend who has helped me navigate one of the toughest yet greatest transitions of my life.  Any family would be lucky to have her!

There aren't enough words to say how amazing Katherine was for us and our infant daughter. We were struggling with our daughters fussiness and feeding issues and our own lack of sleep. On day one, Katherine came in and put us at ease with her calm and friendly demeanor. Not only was she able to help us with our feedings and give us tips, but she made sure that this sleep deprived mama was taking time for herself and getting rest. She even prepped meals for us which was amazing. Having Katherine as our doula was the best decision we made. I highly recommend her!

Katharine was involved in our post-partum-life after our fourth child was born. When chaos is swirling all around, Katharine walks in and brings a previously non-existent calm and makes everything seem way less overwhelming than it had been; she's in a thousand places at once but all while making it seem like nothing. From holding a baby to food-prep, Katharine brings a capable, positive energy into your house, and helps you realize you, too, can manage the chaos.

Katharine is wealth of knowledge and provided wonderful support as my wife and I transitioned into parenthood. She was always helpful, supportive, and nonjudgmental with our new parent questions.  During our first few months with our daughter, we encountered multiple difficulties with breastfeeding.  Katharine coached us through several bouts of mastitis. Her warm and compassionate demeanor made it easy to work with her and instilled a strong sense of trust.  I would highly recommend Katharine to anyone who is looking for a postpartum doula!

I can not say enough good things about Katharine!  She came over to my house before my third child was born, and helped me come up with a game plan for after birth care, talked through all my anxieties, and helped me feel more at ease.  She was very knowledgeable and I felt very comfortable with her.  I look forward to working with her more once the baby gets here.

I cannot recommend Katharine more highly as a postpartum doula. The knowledge she has gained by caring for her own children allows her to guide families in truly discovering who their new addition is while helping everyone to adjust in a happy and serene way. Her natural instincts and strength of character allow you to feel supported, but also confident enough to take your own steps as a new parent. I feel it is important on this incredible journey to have someone who guides your natural instincts with your child and helps you have the confidence to navigate parenting with peacefulness and joy and Katharine is that person.
