Post a testimonial for Kaylee Hope

Kaylee is absolutely wonderful. I delivered my baby boy almost a week ago and there is absolutely no way I could’ve done it without her. Not only is she incredibly intelligent she is extremely compassionate about what she does as well. She was 100% attentive throughout my entire labor and really helped ease my pain. My husband and I are forever grateful that Kaylee was apart of our birth team.

Having Kaylee at my birth was such a blessing. She came over to my house after my labor had started, and provided gentle, calm support for me and my husband, including cooking us breakfast, providing gentle counterpressure, and talking me through the pains. She came with us to the birth center, where I labored for many hours in the tub. During that entire time, her quiet strength was just what I needed, and she helped make me as comfortable as possible. Unfortunately, I ended up having to be transported to a nearby hospital in an ambulance. She met us there and stayed the entire night and morning. That is when she started providing incredible physical support, pulling the middle of a cloth while I pulled on the ends and pushed. This had to be very hard on her, physically, especially as she had already been with us so long and she was no doubt very tired. When the doctor said I had to get a c-section, she still stayed, even though she wasn't allowed into the operating room. She was there when we came back with our baby, and she stayed to make sure he latched properly to breasfeed. When we were released from the hospital a few days later, she came over to our house again to ensure that breastfeeding was still going well. She went above and beyond on this occasion, too, cooking for us again and even washing our Medela breast pump and making sure we knew how to use it when the time came. I can't recommend Kaylee enough. She is so helpful in practical ways, and her calm and caring personality are perfect for making a first-time mom like me feel that everything will be okay. Thanks, Kaylee!

Kaylee was awesome. She really helped with keeping my girlfriend calm in times of pain and/or anxiety. She was very sweet and easy to talk to. My girlfriend was getting induced due to her having pre-eclampsia. We were in the delivery room that evening and were told nothing would happen till the doctor came in the next morning so we told Kaylee she didn’t have to stay the night. But my girlfriend started having really bad pains and they were going to put the epidural for her. I texted Kaylee and she came over ASAP and just in time. They had to stick her with the epidermal needle and the numbing needles at least 6 times each because she kept feeling pain and they were putting the needle wrong because she was too tense. As soon as Kaylee got to the delivery room, she calmed her down and the epidural finally went in and I don’t know what she would have done if Kaylee didn’t show up as fast as she did. She was also carrying of me (the father) by staying up all night and letting me take a couple hour nap. I also had trouble sleeping so she made me some hot tea that helped so much. She also warned us that there would be a time when my girlfriend would get so angry that my girlfriend would yell at her and say mean things, but Kaylee was so helpful that that time never came. She also helped with a lot of questions I had about the birth process and everything related. She reassured me that so many things I was concerned about were completely normal and gave me ease. Over all, Kaylee was just amazing with everything we needed her for and more.
