For postpartum doula services, I require a minimum of 4 hours/day and 8 hours/night shift. My rates vary depending on the time of day services are needed and the length of the contract. I also offer prenatal consultations that can include preparing a registry, organizing space for baby, basic baby care and breastfeeding tips. I have worked with Carrot clients in the past.

Upon finding out I was expecting twins while also having a toddler, I knew I would need support during this huge transition. I interviewed several postpartum doulas and Maria seemed to be the best fit for our family. She offered nighttime and daytime support, sibling support, light housekeeping and meal prep, and more. Her knowledge in lactation support was incredibly helpful while navigating feeding my twins. She offered tips to help us get into the best routine we could with caring for our twins. She was very flexible with scheduling while one of our twins was in the NICU for over a month. She also communicated very well and her response time was fast over text messages. She was always available to us when we had questions or needed additional support. Maria is very kind and gentle, and I always knew my babies were in great hands when leaving them in her care over night. I would highly recommend hiring Maria when considering a postpartum doula.

I had a wonderful expereince with Maria. I didn't think we needed a doula until we were in the thick of it with our newborn. I knew I needed help, but couldn't even articulate the help that we needed. Maria came in and started helping without taking any time or energy away from me: she found where things were without having to ask, she took over tasks unobtrusively, she was supportive of whatever parenting decisions we had made. She did a great job of reading what I needed, not providing advice when I was too overwhelmed to hear it and providing it when it came up naturally in a way that did not feel judgmental (and I was very sensitive about feeling judged by others).

Maria is warm, knowledgeable, and easy to communicate with. She help me through a challenging postpartum time sharing her expertise in breast-feeding, diapering, sleeping and anything else I threw her way. She goes above and beyond and truly loves what she does. She is an excellent listener and always helpful. You couldn't ask for more!

Maria provided judgement-free, tailor-made, support that my family truly needed in a difficult transitional period. She was quickly available - I reached out saying we needed help and she came a few days later when we needed her. Not only did she give us her full attention during the hours we hired her, but when she was off she would follow up with texts to ask how we were doing, offered advice, etc.,. I'm very grateful for Maria's care and support and would work with her again if and when our family needs a hand.
