I had the most powerful, high-vibration birth experience because of Misty, my doula. I was introduced to her through girlfriends whose births she supported, and we instantly had an organic, incredible connection. From the moment she arrived—under less-than-ideal circumstances—she held space for me with such calm, clarity, and strength. Misty supported my daughter, redirected my focus from work to the sacred task of preparing for labor, and transformed my room into a peaceful, grounding environment. When I was told I’d have to deliver early, she helped me process the news and immediately guided me toward a plan that honored my intention for an unmedicated birth.
Throughout labor, Misty was my anchor. She kept me moving through different spaces, reminded me to ride the waves, and managed every detail so I could stay focused and in control. Her hands never stopped—massaging, applying pressure, passing water, heating pads, food, adjusting pillows, and offering the TENS unit just when I needed it. I can still feel the strength of her presence. Misty was my coach, teacher, resource, cheerleader, caregiver, and family all in one.
To Misty: I have the utmost appreciation for you. Your energy, wisdom, and unwavering love held me through one of the most vulnerable, transformative moments of my life. I am forever grateful. If anyone is searching for a doula, Misty is the one. She is truly a gift.

I knew I wanted the support of a doula during labor, but I had no idea how invaluable Misty would be for the whole adventure!
When my husband and I had our initial meeting with Misty we were instantly won over. Her genuine passion and warmth was very reassuring to us as first time parents. She was also quick to understand the type of birth that I desired and recommend excellent resources as well as her own expertise. At our subsequent appointments she came to our home and taught us what to expect on the big day as well as coping mechanisms for pregnancy pains and labor. Additionally, Misty quickly responded to any questions or concerns I had along the way. Three weeks before my due date I learned that I needed to be induced. It felt like a complete upset of the birth I had hoped, planned, and prepared for. Right away I reached out to Misty, and she immediately brought me peace and comfort. She assured us that although this was not part of our initial plan, I could still labor and deliver my baby without further medical intervention beyond the induction. Then our big day finally came! Misty met us at the hospital and they started me on pitocin. As contractions started ramping up Misty was there by my side, rubbing my back, helping me with different positions, and offering other coping strategies. She also helped guide my husband in comforting and supporting me too. The three of us, with help from the hospital nurses and my midwife, powered through 14 hours of labor without any pain medication (just like I wanted) and we were happily rewarded by the birth of my beautiful daughter. Then, afterwards, Misty was helpful with breastfeeding. Even with a baby who is eager to feed, I was glad for her support and guidance both at the hospital and after we went home. Overall, I could not have asked for a better pregnancy, birth, and postpartum experience!
We are glad to have had Misty on our journey to parenthood and I highly recommend her as a doula!

Working with Misty was a dream come true. Because of the pandemic my husband and I weren't able to attend any in-person birthing classes so having Misty available for prenatal, postnatal, and labor care was amazing.
She helped us understand what to expect at our hospital during COVID since she had helped women deliver at that facility recently. During labor Misty helped me get to a whopping 7cm at home and her healing hands helped me deal with any pain or discomfort by applying pressure in special ways to my body. Misty was crucial during the pushing part of delivery and helped my husband understand how he could best help me through the process.
After an incredibly smooth delivery, Misty helped me with breastfeeding techniques that have made our lives so much easier. Hiring Misty was the best thing we could have done for our child, and we are so grateful!!

Misty was amazing! During our pregnancy with our first child, we had a lot of questions and weren't sure what to expect. Misty provided great guidance and support along the way without being over bearing. She helped us understand all of the different options, risks and decisions along the way, but ultimately encouraged us to plan the birth how we wanted it to be. We felt very prepared going into the birth and everything turned out great! We will definitely be calling her for our next child. Our physician also mentioned that she was really impressed with Misty's knowledge and performance during the birth, and asked for her contact information so they could recommend her in the future. A well deserved compliment for sure.

I am so grateful to have found Misty on Instagram and the connect with her in-person at a coffee shop to talk about the Doula process. I was induced and she was there with me right when I needed her (two whole days)! She had essential oils to calm the room and her demeanor was so soft and relaxing that is helped me feel confident throughout my labor. I am so blessed to have met Misty and highly recommend her : )

Misty was our doula for our first baby. She was amazing! I felt comfortable with her immediately. She was always available before my labor started for any questions and we spent time together before to talk through all the stages of labor and what to expect. She not only was there to assist in the birth but also was so caring of our whole family. During labor she stayed by my side the entire time and was a calming presence for me. She truly helped me stick to my intended birth plan and was so encouraging throughout. Both my husband and I are so happy we decided to hire her and felt like the whole thing went better because of her. We are so grateful for her support and would highly recommend her!

Misty Stewart attended my birth and I can not recommend her enough! She is knowledgeable, caring, thoughtful and reassuring. She is also just fun to be with - My husband and I hit it off with her right away. It made me feel better knowing that she comes with a ton of experience. I personally had a lot of anxiety going into the birth process, and looking back on it now I don't know how I would have made it without Misty's gentle guidance. In the days leading up to the birth Misty kept checking in on me and answered all of my questions, sometimes more than once, always very patiently. During my long labor she was right there coaching me (and my husband) the whole time. We are both so grateful for her. Thank you Misty!

Hands down best decision I made: get a doula!!! Misty was absolutely amazing throughout the entire process. During my pregnancy I didn't know who would be allowed in the delivery room and after my experience, with 100% confidence I would say if I could have only had one person I would choose Misty. Not my partner, not my sister, but Misty. My daughter was born at 11:01pm, Misty arrive at 7am. She was there all day. I was nauseous and she had peppermint oil to help alleviate it. She never stopped helping me when I was having contractions or in pain. She knew exactly where to put pressure on my back and moved me around into positions to make me more comfortable. Equally as important, she kept track of what was going on and communicated it back to my partner, which he loved. We had a lot of nurse turnover because it was a busy time and it took SO long - and Misty listened to them, filled us in, and offered advice when we asked. She was also attentive and present during and after my pregnancy to answer questions and help. Hands down having Misty with us was the best decision and worth every single cent (maybe more??)!

When we met Misty, we knew instantly we had found the right person to help us deliver our first child. Her kindness, generosity of spirit and knowledge gave us an incredible confidence in her support. Then, the unexpected happened. After only two meetings with Misty, our baby boy decided to arrive two MONTHS early. Misty had no contractual obligation to be there- and she showed up within an hour of us being at the hospital. To say that my husband and I were unprepared was an understatement. All of our classes were scheduled for the month prior to the birth, and I had yet to even pack a bag. Misty held my hand, rubbed my back, and reminded me that it was not my "fault," as I blamed myself throughout labor for Leo's early arrival. She helped me navigate a natural birth without an epidural for 9.5 hours, but when it was clear that my body could not handle the severity of the contractions for an undetermined amount of time and an increased risk of infection, she talked me through my options and had conversations with myself and the doctors. St. Joe's cleary viewed her as a part of my team, and most knew her by name prior to introduction. She played a vital role in our experience, and she is the first person I mention when I'm asked about my experience. My husband was reassured by her sense of calm and positivity, and tells everyone, "I never could have maintained composure without her, she soothed my wife in a way that I envied, but was so grateful for." She never once made me feel like we were in "trouble," because our baby was 8 weeks early. She remained by our sides for 22 hours- and wanted to stay longer but we insisted she get home to her family. From that moment on, she continued to text me daily asking how I was, helped me with breast feeding (and referred me when she didn't have the answer), and checked in on me emotionally. Misty is a powerhouse and you will be lucky to have her by your side.

I highly recommend Misty as a doula!! Misty played such a significant supportive role in labor!! My partner and I could not imagine going through labor without her. I had a long labor of 29 hours that started at a birth center and ended up transferring to the hospital. Misty supported me and cared for me all throughout my long labor! She helped ease my pain more than I ever expected. My partner was very hesitant about having a doula, then after labor and birth he was incredibly grateful we had Misty. There were unexpected times my partner had to leave my side and I was able to have Misty there. I would of been alone if we didn't have her there. Misty was also very helpful with initiating breastfeeding! She taught me how to get my baby to latch right after birth. She was more helpful than the lactation consultant. Misty is kind, caring, non-judgemental, and a strong woman who love the process of birth! I cannot say enough amazing things about her. She helped make my labor positive and beautiful!

Misty was not only a great doula and support person for my husband and I but we truly consider her to be a friend. Misty provided us with such incredible, thoughtful and comprehensive education prior to delivery that calmed our minds and empowered us for labor. During labor, Misty had the most soothing energy in the room and knew exactly how to support me during various physical and emotional challenges. Misty continued to check in with us after delivery and has been an incredible ongoing resource. I highly suggest the use of a doula and Misty is a notch above the rest!

My husband and I are transplants to Denver. we were having our first child and didn't have any close family or experienced friends who would be able to help with the delivery. I had been suggested to look into getting a doula and considered it would be a good emotional support process for me. When I met Misty I also had my husband along for the interview and I really appreciated how she Incorporated him into the conversation and asked him what he wanted from the experience. She said she would be there for me and also to help him through the labor. That was also something I looked forward to because he was very scared. We didn't really have any particular cultural, religious or spiritual request for our birth and I really liked how Misty was supportive of just having us help with a normal delivery and not suggesting any other thing that we didn't want.
I had a very healthy pregnancy and Misty came to our house for the two pre-natal appointments. I went into labor very early and I was in constant contact with her via text messages about my progression. I was in the doctors at 10:30 and 4 cm dilated. They immediately wheeled me to delivery and we called Misty and she came as soon as she could. She helped me in the birthing pool, and she also helped support my decision to get an epidural when the nurse was telling me that I was already too far advanced and shouldn't get it. When I was breastfeeding my baby after delivery he went blue and Misty was right there at the bedside to help rub him.
Misty sincerely loves what she does with moms andnewborns. She's very calm and laid-back and would be a great help at any delivery.

Misty was so attentive and supportive from the day we met her. She listened to my concerns and thoughts very carefully each time she came over for our prenatals, and had great advice to offer. I never once felt like she had certain opinions about how a birth should be or that she wanted to persuade me to do anything a certain way. She simply listened to what I wanted and then worked with me to achieve it. She was always quick to respond to messages, and would often check in on me and send me words of encouragement, especially at the end. When I went into labor she stayed in touch all day until it was time for her to come over. As soon as she was at my house she got straight to work! She massaged me and put pressure on my hips during each contraction and coached my breathing. She was so helpful in knowing when to go to the hospital! I ended up laboring at the hospital all night, and she stayed the entire time. I don’t know how her arms held up- she massaged me almost the entire night. She helped my husband and even my mom feel comfortable and involved. She was a soothing and strong presence in the room. I did not want an epidural, and I’m 100% positive that if she had not been there, I would have gotten one. Her knowledge and her confidence helped me to believe in myself and push through the difficult parts of my labor. But I also know that if I had decided to get the epidural, she would have been supportive of that as well. I would have her be at every birth of mine if I could! Misty is the absolute best!

Misty was my doula when I was laboring with my son. She was incredible! It was because of her skills, bedside manner, and tenderness that I was able to successfully make it through a vaginal delivery. She guided me through each contraction, gave me tools to regulate the stress in my body, and helped me to keep my mind focused and centered. She was an incredible extention of my experience and I would recommend Misty as a doula to any of my friends and family. She made my labor and delivery a memorable experience.

We hired Misty as our doula with our second child. I can't imagine not having a doula again. Misty was very knowledgeable and answered so many questions I had during pregnancy. My experience with the pregnancy and birth of my first child was vastly different than my second. I felt very prepared and confident in myself having Misty as my doula. Misty arrived at our home when I was in labor. She worked with me on different positions to help get me more comfortable as well as lots of massage! It was so nice being able to labor in the comfort of my own home with my family there. When we dicided it was time to head to the hospital Misty followed. I was very surprised and shocked to find out I was already 8cm dialated. Everything after that went pretty quickly. We did have time to labor in the tub which was something I looked forward to. I wouldn't have made it through the pushing phase without Misty's lovingness and constant reassurance I was doing a great job. After my son was born Misty stayed with me while my husband was with our son who was having a little bit of a hard time at first. She was explaining to me what was going on and that everything was going to be fine. It was fine. I will always cherish those first pictures she was able to capture of my little family.
Misty was a huge help with breastfeeding support. Any questions or concerns I had, I texted her and she would always help me through it. I continue to have communication with Misty and she continues to check in to see how everyone is. I highly recommend a doula and even more so I recommend Misty. The massage alone was worth double! ;)

I knew I grabbed Misty’s arm when I needed the strength to keep pushing. She had been there by my side for the weeks I was in early labor and the prior two days non-stop. She helped get me in a better position and to relax! She makes you feel so loved when you feel scared, kind of gross and your husband looks like a deer in front of head lights. I don’t think my active labor would have been as fast without her. I achieved my birth plan give or take a couple surprises. Misty was by my side during the hardest most beautiful day of my life. There is no one else I would have wanted to cut the cord. Not to mention, she managed to take the sweetest photos, especially of my husband holding him for the first time! Misty is worth her weight in gold!

We had a great experience with Misty. Before our son’s birth Misty was always easily accessible and happy to pop by if we ever needed anything. She had delivered her boys at the hospital we were using, and it was nice knowing she had been there before and could give us tips on arrival. I had an extremely quick labor, So Misty met us at the hospital. She was a supportive and peaceful presence, stepping in to help whenever she noticed a need. After our birth, she took sweet pictures of my husband and me with our baby, which I love! Misty came by to see our son after we got home and has checked in several times to make sure we are doing well. We would highly recommend working with Misty as a birth doula!

My name is Ashley and I had Misty as my doula. I knew what a doula was to a degree and what they could provide, misty did just that and offered so much more. From informational videos, exercises, answering scary labor and delivery questions, to kiensiotaping, to stretches, a rebozo, and everything in between.
I learned so much on techniques to flip a baby in utero (safely) so they are in perfect position for birth. I learned what exercises to do to open up my pelvis. How to tape for extra support, and so much more!
One of the biggest helps misty was for me was just having her there for labor and delivery for extra support. It was nice to have her around my family to prevent any drama. She also listened to my wishes and respected them and tried to get my birth plan to go as planned. She knew exactly what I wanted and didnt want from discussing my birth plan and she accommodated my needs. I recommend her to everyone I know because she was amazing to have for pregnancy, labor and delivery
