Michelle was our doula for the birth of our second child. We did not have a doula for our first and what a difference! If we could go back in time we would absolutely have had a doula, Michelle if we could, for the birth of our first 3 years ago.  Having Michelle with us through our pregnancy and birth gave us a sense of ease. She was able to explain options, doctor speak, and offer guidance for meals, exercise, etc to stay healthy during pregnancy.

During our labor Michelle helped with comfort levels when I chose not to have the epidural. She helped me focus on my breathing which kept me calm. During the pushing phase Michelle offered cold cloths for my forehead (something we had previously discussed during my pregnancy) which gave me relief and comfort.

I felt in control and sane having Michelle with us. Labors can easily become chaotic with nurses, doctors, pain, family, etc and Michelle was a light that stayed consistent and helped me stay focused.

I have already recommended a doula-specifically Michelle- to multiple couples in different stages of their pregnancies!  This is a passion of Michelle’s and it shows and benefits her clients.
