Donna was our doula for our baby boy this past year. She literally came and saved my husband and I on our first full day home with our little one. She knew without saying what we needed in the moment and we could not have appreciated her more for her timing. She is warm, gentle, compassionate and I felt seen, heard and loved as a new mom. She gifted us with encouraging words, food & wonderful baked treats, and shared her knowledge without any pushyness/judgement which allowed us to parent our baby how we wanted. I wish we had more time with Donna and look forward to having her be a part of our family again for any future little ones. We are so grateful for her and highly recommend her as a doula for other families that are looking for support in this exciting journey of parenthood.

Donna was such a wonderful addition to our family in such a few short weeks of her time with us. Donna was my postpartum doula for 8 weeks and she came to my family in such a time of need. I don't have any family living in Dallas and having a postpartum doula was like having my mom here at home to support and help me with my newborn in those rough early postpartum days. Donna was always willing to listen and offer support where it was needed in regards to my postpartum healing as well as my babies development. In addition to having a 3 month old, I also have a 20 month old who grew very attached to Donna as well. Although Donna was dedicated to caring for our newborn, Donna often carved out a few minutes to read a book with our son as well. I am very grateful for North Dallas Doula Association for connecting me with Donna and I highly recommend her services to any mom out there who is looking for postpartum doula.

Donna was everything I had hoped my doula would be--kind, attentive, empathic, and reliable. I felt comfortable with her right from the start because of her calming presence and personable demeanor.  She helped increase my confidence level as a new mother with breastfeeding and thoughtfully listened and responded to my concerns. She provided fantastic book and website recommendations that were very useful and practical. She always made sure I was well hydrated and took initiative with household tasks/cleaning. My husband and I are so thankful Donna was part of my postpartum experience!

Donna was great!  She was always timely, provided comfort and reassurance, as well as advice on newborn care, as needed.  She checked in with me throughout the week to follow up on anything we had previously discussed and to send kind words of encouragement.  She was great with my child and she gave me the much needed opportunity to take naps, catch up on life and walk my dog.  I would highly recommend Donna for your doula needs.

Donna is an amazing post partum doula. She is warm, encouraging, supportive and kind. Donna worked with me during the first six weeks of my journey into motherhood. Donna always put me first and made sure that I was well fed and hydrated. She listened to my worries and gently supported me with encouragement, tips and treats! Donna was an essential part of my breastfeeding journey. She helped me start a consistent routine. She also provided multiple resources for breastfeeding support. I am so thankful for the time I spent with Donna. I strongly recommend her services to anyone in need of a motherly support during their post partum experience.

The best! I felt so supported and comfortable with Donna! I was able to relax, rest and recover in the first few days after giving birth. Donna also supported us in nursing and feeding. She's available to answer any questions you have abs knows everything! She was a huge help to our family!

Donna Meridith supported me after the birth of my first child in November of 2018, and when I learned that I was pregnant with my second (born July, 2021) I knew that I couldn't do it without her.

Donna is absolutely extraordinary, and I hope that any mother who is able to will have Donna at her side as she navigates the highs and lows of being a new mother.  Having Donna in your home is the greatest gift you could give yourself as a new mother--it is the gift of a peaceful home.  Her effect is so palpable that we would shift from chaos (a Labrador suffering from a lack of walks, a 3-year-old suffering from a lack of attention, and myself suffering from a lack of sleep!) to peace in an instant as Donna entered our home.  Donna's presence made us feel that all was well.

Donna has become one of the most trusted people in my life, and I have grown into the confident mother I am now as a result of her support and care.  She not only helps with the practicalities of learning how to nurse, give your baby a bath, keep your water glass full, heat up food, fold laundry, or sweep your floors...but also she also helps you figure out who you want to be as a mother.  Donna never imposes her points of view, but rather helps you to develop your own (and to weed that out from all the other voices of family or friends in your head).  This gives you the confidence to feel good about your mothering decisions and then supported to live them out.

I could not recommend Donna more highly and urge anyone considering a postpartum doula to hire Donna--you will not be disappointed and will be giving yourself the greatest gift as a new mom.

I had the best experience with Donna as my postpartum doula. She is such a kind and loving person. She helped me a lot the first days with my baby. I had a c-section, and it made a difference to have her taking care of my son for some hours so I could have some rest. She also helped us with his first bath and instructed us on how to do it. She shared her wisdom and gave us good advice on baby affairs. In a nutshell, she gave me peace of mind and boosted our confidence as new parents, and that is priceless.

Donna is the sweetest person I've been working with. She's really caring and her experience as a breastfeed mother has helping me tremendously during the first 3 months of motherhood. Her patience and understanding are truly reassuring for a new mom. She'll guide you with kindness and care along the road. Donna is really organized and was able to help me with anything from laundry, cooking, organizing the nursery as well as comforting and playing with my baby. We love her!!

We were fortunate enough to have Donna Meridith as our post partum doula. We used a Brenda Kirkpatrick with our first baby and sadly she had moved to Oregon by the time our second. I was naive to think that because my first baby was easy my second couldn't be that hard. After some long nights and little sleep I had a terrible accident falling down some stairs (without the baby) and injured my hand. I reached out to Brenda telling her of what happened and my conclusion that I needed some help even for a few hours a day so I could just sleep and heal. She recommended Donna and we were lucky she was avaliable so last minute. It felt very comforting to me to have someone so experienced and recommended take care of my baby while I could get some rest. She was professional and knowledgeable that I even learned some new things. I would highly recommend anyone to use Donna with their baby. She is the best!

We used Donna as our postpartum doula in October/November of 2020, and I cannot say enough good things about her! I am a first time mom and have had a lot of anxiety, and her kind, calming personality helped so much! She is so knowledgeable about infant care and was so positive and encouraging to me as I was learning and adjusting to my new duties as a mom. She shared all kinds of tips with me from breastfeeding to diaper changes and I'm not sure we could have survived our first month home without her! She helped me tremendously in learning how to take care of my baby, but also very importantly, she helped take care of me during the crazy, hormonal time after leaving the hospital. I highly recommend her-- we miss her already!

One of the most precious and blissful moments in life is welcoming a baby into our lives despite the emotional and physical challenges associated with childbirth and postpartum. My husband and I are truly blessed to welcome our little bundle Madhav, only the best moment of 2020, with the pandemic around! In our traditions (Indian), our parents help out during pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum but COVID has ruined all our plans and our parents were unable to travel from India. As first time parents, We were unsure of newborn care and postpartum care for me. We are glad we reached out to Donna who taught us everything we needed to know. She helped us with baby’s first time bath, gave me massages to relax, took care of the baby while I got much needed sleep, helped with dishes in the kitchen and most importantly, we learnt newborn cues and how to cope with the challenges in the postpartum period. We had a very good experience with Donna and would definitely get her support for our next pregnancy. We wish her the best!

We're so glad Donna was our postpartum doula for the 2 weeks after our son was born. As first time parents, we had so many questions and anxieties, so we really appreciated Donna's experience and calm and kind demeanor. We would recommend her for anyone else seeking help after birth!

Words cannot explain how much my family cherished our time with Donna! As a new mother, Donna quickly became a trusted confidant and provided unconditional support during my early postpartum. We are first time parents and knew our daughter would thrive if we led with love and with Donna's help, our little one is a thriving happy baby <3. Like many fathers, my husband's paternity leave was too short whereas I was fortunate to have an extended period of time away from work. I know my husband felt much better about returning to work knowing that Donna was there to support me however I needed. She also cared for my daughter in the most loving way and I will never forget the special bond they formed. Donna is a gifted listener and I know she will lift your spirits and brighten your day regardless of how the night went! I truly believe that serving as a postpartum doula is Donna's calling and I hope others can benefit from her compassion as we have. Donna will always be a member of our family and if we are blessed with another child, we hope that Donna is available to support us again!

Donna has been an angel in helping our family both with my postpartum anxiety, and with overnight care so my husband and I can get some sleep!  She is caring, kind, and very encouraging.  Everytime I have a question for her, I text or ask her in person and she always has or finds great answers to help.  She so thoughtfully leaves sweet hand written notes every morning after she helps us overnight for my husband and I to be encouraged. I would highly recommend Donna if you're looking for a postpartum doula or overnight nurse. She is AMAZING!!! We love love love Donna!

Donna was me nurturing support for 10 days following the birth of my second child. Her care, kindness, and attentiveness and positive energy made the transition to being a 2 kid mommy very smooth. Prior to my son's birth, we chatted over the phone, and she came over to visit and meet my family. Together we made a plan for how she would support our family once the baby arrived. She asked helpful questions that my husband and I hadn't addressed yet that helped us work together once the baby arrived.

Donna cared for both my son and myself. She was helpful in soothing my son, changing his diapers, caring for his circumcision, changing his clothes after diaper explosions, and burping him after feedings. She was helpful in watching him while I slept during the night, and brought him to me when it was time to feed. She gave me support by ensuring that I fed him long enough tips for how to soothe him, tips for how to heal my body.

Our time spent chatting while feeding my baby at 2 am felt like hanging out with an old friend. I cherish her care and sweet notes she left on the kitchen counter for my husband and me to read in the morning. I couldn't give her a higher recommendation.

Donna came to our home when our daughter was 8 weeks old. I was beyond sleep-deprived and it was magnifiying my emotions. She took the night shift with our daughter for 8 hours and allowed my husband and me to get a full night's rest. As soon as she came to our home I felt at ease with her. She is like your best friend's grandmother that you wish you had.  She asked lots of detailed questions and gave me a reassuring nudge to get some sleep.  Donna took care of Kennedy and successfully bottle-fed her when she woke up (up to this point Kennedy had only taken 2 bottles). She left detailed notes throughout the night for me to review in the morning and left our house cleaner than when she entered.  She also was incredibly reassuring and listed a few resources for me in her notes.  Especially for a new mom who doesn't have her family living close by, Donna was a wonderful gift that allowed us to reset.  I would highly recommend her.

This was our first child and we didn't have parents/family close by that could guide/help us. Donna filled that void and helped us with a successful start to parenthood! She was always on time or early, very flexible when it came to when we needed her....even coming last minute if she had availability. Donna knew all the little details regarding day to day stuff....like bathing, feeding, sleep schedules, etc. We also appreciated that she is the best listener you will find.  She always made sure to find out what direction we were wanting to go with with care, and then helped us to have confidence as we followed through. I can't recommend Donna enough...my wife still texts her milestone pictures, etc. to keep in touch because she feels like such a part of our little family.

Donna come to us for our transition with our second child.  This was not our first experience with a doula as we also had one with our first child 2 years before. I can say without a doubt that she is a wonderful woman to have help you through the new motherhood transition.  For our first week home from the hospital she was with us for 3 nights, then for a few weeks it was 2 nights per week, and the final couple of weeks it was just once per week as our son began to drift off into longer stretchs of sleep.

Donna is a wealth of knowledge and has a calming presence in a new baby home.  She is positive and empowers new moms (and dads) to make the best decisions for their families. Each morning after she left, I would look forward to her sweet notes about the events of the prior evening while I slept blisfully unaware, I have kept each one of those notes for my son's baby book. Donna's joyful spirit has a wonderful way of soothing the entire environment, especially baby!  My husband and I always looked forward to her coming to help us with our little man and were very sad to not need her any longer (but also thrilled that baby slept better!). I highly recommend having Donna as a member of your "villiage" as you transition through new parenthood.

Hiring a Post-Partum Doula was the best decision I ever made for my second child, but having Donna come into our lives and home was the luckiest thing that ever happened to us. After an unplanned C-Section with my first child, we knew that our second would require a scheduled C-Section. This meant I would not be able to drive for at least two week, pick up my older child, and keep the house running like usual. Donna was there to help with all of it! She walked in every day and gathered all the baby clothes and cloths and started the laundry. When I struggled with figuring out how to pump, nurse and use formula, she helped develop a game plan that worked for our family. And when I just needed to shower and rest, I never hesitated to hand over my child to her loving hands for some much needed self-care. The day she left I cried for an hour. She was such a blessing to us in those first six weeks. I have recommended her to all my friends having children and would hire her in a heartbeat if we decide to have more children. Donna is an Angel!

Donna instantly felt at place in our home after our daughter's birth. She was always calm, caring, and could answer any questions we had. She was very flexible with her schedule, and it gave us great peace to have her help in those early days, right when we needed it most.

Donna was amazing during our post partum experience. We were first time parents and everything was new to us. We have amazing families but our parents haven't had babies in 30+ years and so many things have changed. Donna has an amazing way of empowering you to make the decisions that you know are right for your baby. Her spirit is calm and gentle - everything you need in those early days.
