I cannot speak highly enough of Erica Golden. Her work with us a doula for several weeks after my daughter was born was absolutely critical to our survival and flourishing as a new family of 5! (Our little girl has two energetic older brothers who contribute to the joy and also to the general chaos of our house.) Erica brought a calm, caring presence to our home, and she provided excellent child care along with wise advice. She was also happy to help with other household tasks that seem impossible when caring for a newborn like laundry, dishes, and meal prep. As a sleep-deprived mom of three, it was also great to have Erica caring for me- asking if had been drinking water, eating, etc. I can't say enough about how meaningful it was her support during such a difficult and special time.

I feel very fortunate to have found Erica. My husband and I both felt so much better having her help us with our son Jack for the 1st month. We were both comfortable having her in our house and felt an immediate calm with her helping us. She gave me great advice and made me confident about being a new mom. I would recommend her to anyone.

Having Erica as our postpartum doula made having a newborn so much easier. We initally hired her to help us learn tricks and tips for taking care of our daughter. Our time with Erica turned into so much more though. She encouraged me on days I didn't want to get out of my pajamas, she played and read to our daughter (Elizabeth loves her!), she made us dinner...she did everything. Whether you're a new Mom or this is your second or third time around the block, Erica can help you manage the transition of bringing a newborn home. Thanks Erica!!

Erica's presence in our household following the birth of our second child provided much needed moments of peace, rest and balance. When I felt taken care of I felt more capable of caring for my high energy toddler and my newborn. On "Erica Days" as we began to call them, I could count on being well-hydrated, well-fed, well-rested, showered and generally supported. She seemed to sense and anticipate our family's needs and would help out seamlessly wherever needed. On days that were not "Erica Days" I could call on the emotional and physical reserves she helped foster to get through the day. I'm so glad our family was able to share our transition from a family of three to a family of four with someone as caring as Erica.

Erica's warm and nurturing presence in our home enabled us to make a smooth and enjoyable transition as we welcomed a second baby into our family. The support she provided us with was invaluable. As a second-time mom, I wish I had had Erica here when I had my first baby! Erica's full range of support enabled us to bond deeply with our newborn, and each other, during a time that was uniquely full, and often challenging.

Erica was great! She was a wonderful, calm presence at a crazy time. When she would come over, her arrival was like a breath of fresh air---and a much-appreciated extra pair of hands. I would look forward to the nice shower I could have on the days she came! She seemed really good with my little daughter, and was great at soothing her in those crying-filled early weeks. She was very supportive of breast-feeding, and had good ideas for helping my body through the post-partum struggles. She is very responsible, communicative, and positive. I highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a post-partum doula--either for yourself or for a friend. She will help make those early days/weeks with a new baby more precious.
