I had the most incredible water birth at South Health Campus, and I truly believe it wouldn’t have been the same without my amazing doula, Carrie. From the very first moment we met, she was so attentive, supportive, and genuinely trusting of my instincts. Throughout my pregnancy she stayed closely involved — always checking in, always present for appointments or updates, and always making me feel heard and cared for.

On the day of the birth, Carrie was everything I needed: calm, grounding, and so reassuring. She anticipated what I needed before I even knew, and held space for me in such a beautiful, comforting way. Her presence allowed me to feel safe, confident, and fully supported during my water birth.

I’m beyond grateful for her care and would wholeheartedly recommend Carrie to anyone looking for a doula. She made my birth experience something truly empowering and unforgettable. ????

I cannot express enough how grateful I am for Carrie during my pregnancy and postpartum journey.

From the very start, she was a calming and reassuring presence in my life. Her gentle and kind nature made me feel supported and heard every step of the way. Even when she couldn’t be there in person, she made sure to check in virtually, always ensuring that I was okay and that my baby was doing well.

Her constant support, both emotionally and practically, made such a difference during a time that can be incredibly overwhelming.

I truly believe she played a huge role in making my experience so much more peaceful and positive. Thank you, Carrie, for everything you did for me and my family!

When I was pregnant, we didn’t have any family in Canada and didn’t have any experience taking care of kids, we were very anxious about the whole experience, so we decided to hire a doula. When we first met Carrie, she immediately helped all that anxiety go away with her calm, gentle approach. She was very sweet and knowledgeable, it seemed like we found a relative. We got the physical and emotional support we needed at the time. She helped me before birth, came several times, gave advice, we checked if the baby was in the right position, we did special exercises, stretches together. When I was going into labor, my husband and Carrie were both present. Unfortunately due to Covid issues in the hospital I didn’t get the epidural and Carrie taught us special techniques how to make contractions feel less painful. She even took our photos with our baby. During postpartum Carrie helped me learn how to take care of our baby, how to change diapers, about her experience with reusable diapers, how to properly bathe our baby, or feed her from the bottle because I was struggling with breastfeeding, she was taking care of her when I needed sleep. She connected me to a specialist, who helped with breastfeeding. She would always smooth my anxiety. Sometimes she stayed for 5 hours in a row, when I was feeling especially exhausted. We never doubted leaving her with our baby if we needed to go deal with some documents or etc. Carrie was the only person we could trust to help us with our daughter even half a year after she was born. Our daughter really loved her and we really miss her after she had to relocate to another province. We are still keeping in touch!:)
