The George Family

From the moment Maya entered our home following the birth of our second son, she was like an extension of our family. She provided support looking after our newborn, preparing meals, cleaning up and chasing our 2-year-old toddler. She went above and beyond to ensure I was taken care of in my postpartum recovery, encouraging me to rest while she took care of our kids and home, often anticipating our needs without requiring direction. Her supportive, kind and confident demeanor made her absolutely perfect for our family during a stressful time. We would welcome Maya back anytime and can't recommend her high enough.

My experience with Maya wsa really good. She helped me lot , I always share when I need to share my life 's experience.when I was pregnant with my child I didn't had any help she helped me lot even emotionally. When I had delivery time Maya and her colleague support me for everything. That they were my family. When ever I remind that always tears in my eyes . They were so kind how they helped me in my hard time. I don't have enough wording to say thank you to Maya and her colleague too .

As first-time parents, my husband and I had many fears about the labour process. Some of our friends recommended having a birth doula but we were not sure if we truly needed one or not. However, due to my husband's unavoidable business trip planned during my 38th week of pregnancy, we decided to have one.

We reached out a few doulas in the area and the communication with Maya was the best. Once we had our first meeting, we knew right away that she was the right one for us. She often checked up on me and how I was doing and provided many resources that helped calm me down. We were still anxious because of the possible absence of my husband during my labour but she made sure I felt comfortable and was in good hands. One day before my husband's business trip, my contractions started. I was not sure if it was real labour or not since it progressed slowly in the beginning. After 18 hours of early labour, the pain escalated really rapidly and we called Maya. After getting some painkillers, I was sent to home again. She helped me to get through my pain at home with encouragement, massages, warm bean bags, and making sure I was hydrated, etc.. Once we were at the hospital, I was in the active labour. She made sure that my birth plan came true. She ensured that I could have water birth by reminding the hospital associates my requirements for a room with a bathtub. Her sincere care continued during this difficult time. When we discussed other painkilling options and my midwife suggested an epidural, but Maya reinforced my birth wish (no epidural). With her help, I had a beautiful water birth without an epidural and met my precious and healthy baby.

When I look back on the experience, I feel very empowered as a mother and a woman who makes decisions on my own body. I believe that all these things came true with Maya's support and I would highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for the best possible birth experience.

I am so glad to have Maya as my doula for my second daughter's birth. It was a celebration for our life. Maya was there for me ever since we met. She accompanied me for my ob checks; she was always available for any of my questions and respond to my text message very quickly; she was there for my girl's birth, of course. She gave me both emotional and physical support. She also helped me captured the most memorable moment in the delivery room. I would recomend Maya for every friend who need doula service.
