Break down of fees: $600.00 - $1000.00 (Based on financial resources and If BCAAFC funding is required for Indigenous families) . Sliding scale fees broken down below: Low-Income/Single parent families/Teen parents: $600.00 (payment plans available and can be processed over the period of your pregnancy) . Middle Income: $800.00 . BCAAFC approved funding and Families who can afford to pay market rates: $1000.00 . Deposits required when you select me as your doula and Service Agreement is signed: 40% of full cost . I am a pre-approved Doula with the BCAAFC Aboriginal Grant Program - If you require funding please let me know ahead of time

Trained with DONA (Doulas of North America) through the labour and birth doula training workshop and Doula training and Certification with the Wise Woman Way Of Birth; Yesenia is an Indigenous Birth Keeper in partnership with the Indigenous Birth Keeper Program at the Fraser Region Aboriginal Friendship Center in Surrey, BC- (FRAFCA), a pre-approved Doula through the BCAAFC Aboriginal family grant program and a member of the DSA (Doula Services Association) Experienced Doula referral list. Collaboratively, studying towards certification as a Childbirth Educator with Doula Training Canada Mission: To provide comprehensive, compassionate, non-judgemental low-cost Doula support to families facing financial, social or any other barriers that would otherwise inhibit or cause undue stress hiring a Doula. I support women from diverse cultural backgrounds and all walks of life with a special focus on the following: . Young mothers Single mothers First time mothers Low-Income families / New comers Women in need of a sisterhood/village Urban Indigenous Community BIPOC Community Vision: I see Birth as a spiritual, physical, emotional and intellectual experience, encompassing all aspects of our being. I’d like to take this journey with you, where we can step away from fear and judgement and bring birth back down to its grass-roots. I will be there to remind you how powerful you are, how sacred your body is and how important it is to trust your body’s natural flow within the birth process. I believe when given the right support and love, women can navigate birth and overcome many barriers they may be facing and embrace this journey into motherhood. I am here to support you in having faith in your body, faith in your baby and faith in the choices you make.
