I was referred to Kaitlynn through a friend during my pregnancy (my first ever!!). I had no idea what to really expect for my pregnancy, but Kaitlynn gave me advice and guidance throughout the last half of my pregnancy. She's  given me advice from pumping, baby movements, self-care, consoling my worries, and more.

I live in Missouri, so in-person visits were not likely, because I am halfway across the U.S.A. However, she always gave me quick feedback and information via text and so on. Even when I didn't even know I would need it.

Kaitlynn knows what she's talking about and how to be an amazing doula. She's helped me so much. My little boy is now 6 months, and she still helps me now. She's great!

I recommend Kaitlynn Meneses as a doula to anyone and everyone in need of one.

Thank you for always being willing and ready to help all mommas and even new mommas like me. You're the best!

Kaitlynn was absolutely amazing as my doula. Her energy is calming, confident and supportive. She is incredibly intelligent having medical background and also being a mother of two young children herself she is an endless well of knowledge. Kaitlynn was always sending me useful links to articles and sites when I had questions. She made visits throughout my pregnancy, was a part of my (loooong) hospital labor, and made a post partum visit as well after to check on baby+I, and to see how breastfeeding was going! Her dedication to her clients is extremely admirable to say the least. Looking back on my pregnancy and birth experience I can say Kaitlynn played a vital role and I am so grateful that she was able to guide me through the journey!!!

Kaitlynn was the first doula I spoke with in my search for someone to help our family with the birth of our second child and the person I ended up hiring after speaking and interviewing several people in person. Her amazing combination of skills, utmost professionalism and calming (& joyful) presence made my difficult breech birth experience one I look back on (almost) fondly. She was there every step of the way , from prenatal visits to finding resources who specialize in vaginal breech births, to meeting me at 4:00 am when I went to get induced at 41 weeks even though I asked her to meet me at 6:30 am. She is an encyclopedia of knowledge on lactation, birth, pain management, post partum, baby care and the medical side of birth too. I felt like I had 5 experts with me at all times and a psychologist too as I faced a likely and much dreaded c section. She was consistently available on the phone and via text and ended up being a true partner in our journey to birth our breech baby. She was very sweet with my toddler who instantly called her “my friend”. I could go on and on but if you want to feel safe, calm and joyful during your birthing journey, I can not recommend anyone more than Kaitlynn. She made all the difference and then some.

Sarah & Rocco

How to find words for Kaitlynn? It was about 2 weeks from the EDD and we had been planning on a birth center delivery but when medical circumstances necessitated a hospital delivery our midwife reccomended a few affordable doulas. We interviewed several but FaceTiming the calm, nurturing, knowledgeable Kaitlynn solidified that we felt most comfortable with her style. The background of professional nursing with family-style doula services was our perfect match. We didn’t meet Kaitlynn until Sarah was in active labor at the hospital but Kaitlynn had been supporting through email and text for the days and hours before. Though we didn’t need her to be at home during labor, she had offered to make the hour commute if we would feel more comfortable. Kaitlynn was amazing during delivery, providing us both mental support through education and physical comfort through her various techniques. We are convinced her suggestion to walk the halls moved Sarah from 4cm-8cm in about 3 hours! She stayed about an hour after delivery massaging Sarah’s legs that had started to cramp, answering questions, and supporting the first breastfeeding. In the days and weeks after Kaitlynn continued to offer unwavering support, be available for questions, and encourage post-partum healing with her own vulnerability. We are blessed by her attention to her vocation and recommend her as a doula without reservation! We are honored to be able to include her in our birth story. Thanks Kaitlynn!
