Attends hospital births? Some Hospitals
I am primarily serving east central and central rural Minnesota at this time, and attend births at the hospitals within about 75 miles of Mora/Pine City, including Welia Health (Mora), Fairview Northland (Princeton), St. Cloud Hospital, CHI St. Gabriel's (Little Falls), Essentia Moose Lake, Fairview Lakes (Wyoming MN), Osceola Medical Center, St. Croix Health, St. Johns (Maplewood), and Mercy Hospital (Coon Rapids). I occasionally travel to Aitkin and Crosby areas.

Attends birth center births? Some Birth Centers
I attend births at A New Story Birth Center (Milaca) and occasionally at MBC (both locations) and TCBC (St. Paul).

Attends home births? Some Home Births
I attend homebirths within 75 minutes of Mora/Pine City, MN, including Kanabec, Pine, Isanti, Chisago, Mille Lacs, and Aitkin counties, and the greater Grantsburg and Danbury, WI areas.

Gain confidence for your birth! I believe in you and support you in making the choices that are best for yourself and your baby while using my experience, trainings, and intuition to provide care that meets your unique needs. Supporting dads to whatever extent they want to be involved in labor and birth is a key part of my role. My practice is founded on the belief that childbirth is a deeply meaningful process designed by God and that it can be a really beautiful experience.

Fee Details

I am in network with Blue Plus (Medical Assistance) and straight MA for the full cost of doula services and am in the process of becoming in network with other state insurance plans. For self pay clients, I can accept payment by cash, card, bank transfer, check, PayPal, and HSA/FSA funds. If desired, I can provide a superbill to help you seek reimbursement from your private insurance company. I also qualify for the Allina employee reimbursement program.
