Having Taís as our Doula for the birth of our first child was the best decision my husband and I made for ourselves and for our daughter. Towards the end of my pregnancy, the OBGYN team expressed concern that my daughter was getting too big to fit through the birth canal. I really believe it was by following Taís’s guidance to open my pelvis, “wiggle my toosh,” and keep moving during my pregnancy that I was ultimately able to avoid a C-section even after a long labor. As first time parents, my husband and I were nervous and unsure what to expect or even what questions to ask. As soon as we interviewed Taís, we were put at ease by her calm, reassuring demeanor and wonderful sense of humor. In preparing for the birth and during labor, we both appreciated that Taís is able to confidently provide guidance without ever making us feel like she was taking over. She made it clear from the beginning that the most important thing was for me to feel heard as the birthing parent and for my husband to feel like he had a meaningful supportive role—and that is exactly what happened. Having her in the hospital with us through a 30-hour labor gave us the support and stamina we needed to continue and stay optimistic. She brought snacks, was quick to jump in with different positions, massage techniques, and pain relief options, and even provided some much-needed laughs. When our daughter was born, we felt like she was as excited and relieved as we were, and I knew she would be a treasured part of our lives. During the postpartum visit, she helped us bathe our daughter for the first time and it felt like having an old friend in the house. We cannot say enough good things about her. She is truly a treasure!

Working with Tais as our birth doula was a wonderful experience. Throughout the pregnancy she shared valuable resources and guidance which set us up for success when the time came for delivery. On the morning I went into labor I had a lot of questions and was nervous but Tais called to talk things through with me and offer reassurance. I wound up at the hospital too early and was sent home to wait for further labor progress; throughout that time Tais was incredibly supportive and helped my husband and I prepare for the next phase of labor, and offered advice on how I could get some rest. When it was finally time to go to the hospital, Tais was a huge source of comfort as we waited for the pushing phase. Along with supporting me she also made sure my husband felt supported. During the pushing phase she helped me find the most comfortable and effective pushing position and kept me in a calm mental state during delivery, always there to make sure I was hydrated and to offer words of encouragement. Having her by our side during labor and delivery made this such a positive experience and I can't recommend her highly enough, especially for first time parents. On top of all this she has been a great source of support and wisdom for us since the birth and has helped us with lots of useful tips for our baby.

We worked with Tais after the birth of our first child, and it was a wonderful experience. We felt so comfortable having her in our home taking care of our newborn, and also so grateful for all the insight and helpful hints she provided us in our first weeks of parenthood. In addition to night care, Tais made herself available for chats before, during and after we worked with her. For anyone on the fence about hiring a doula, I’d highly recommend Tais as she has a way with babies and their parents.

Taís has been an incredible source of support, guidance, and encouragement - before the birth of our daughter and beyond. Her wealth of knowledge and experience helped set our minds at ease and provided us with the tools needed to navigate the often overwhelming experiences welcoming a newborn.

We often felt more prepared and confident after being with her, leaving us more time and emotional energy to focus on our baby.

We're grateful for her guidance on establishing healthy eating and sleeping habits for our newborn, setting us up for success as we transition out of the 4th trimester.

Her holistic approach ensures not just the baby's physical well-being but also focuses on the emotional and mental well-being of the parents. What stands out for us is the genuine care and compassion she radiates. It's evident that Taís is skilled at her job and deeply passionate about the families she works with. Her encouraging words and presence helped us feel less like clients and more like family. She traveled to be with us for the birth of our baby and played an integral part immediately after the birth. It was a lot for us to navigate, but Taís' support made the whole experience more fluid and less stressful.

To any expecting or new parents searching for a newborn care specialist who brings a blend of expertise, warmth, and genuine care and an invaluable network of additional newborn care specialists, we wholeheartedly recommend Taís. She has set us on a path to success, and we're eternally grateful for her unwavering support.

Tais is very caring not just to our newborn but also to us as a family. We're very fortunate to have her help with postpartum care, both nights and days. She has a very warm personality and I can't imagine going through such an intense time without her by our side.

Tais helped as our doula for the birth of our firstborn and was extremely helpful in preparing us not just for the day of birth but for what followed. We chose her following our interviews since she spent especially long getting to know us and our situation and going over several books and other details and didn't try to just send us a contract after some brief talking. This was pretty representative of her work ethic and demeanor, as each visit she spent hours going over plenty of details and exercises and relayed plenty of information that we had no idea we needed to know. I felt incredibly prepared after several sessions leading up to birth, and she kept a line of communication open outside of these meetings.

The day of birth went smoothly with her at our side, and I felt way more comfortable with her there. After we brought our son home, she visited a few more times to help with feeding positions, sleeping tips, giving the first bath, and overall helped us greatly in not just bringing our son safely into the world but helping ensure we kept him safe and happy until we had things pretty well figured out.

Would 100% recommend Tais if you need a friendly and helpful face during one of the most complicated times for a husband and wife!

Tais came to take care of me and my son when my doula became unavailable. My first impression of her was fantastic. She gave me a lot of guidance when I had so many questions and was unsure about what to do. During the times that she cared for me and my son, I was able to rest and recover. She cooked for my family lunch and dinner that lasted a few days. She baked awesome lactating muffins. She always made sure to attend to the baby immediately so that I could rest. She bathed, fed and soothed him. She showered him with a lot of cuddles and love. She’s loved him like her own. Tais is someone i opened up to and shared some emotional trauma I went through. She listened and gave me advise. At one point, I had injured my back really badly. During that time, she took very good care of me. She has a huge heart and cares deeply for those she takes care of. Even after her time with us was over, she would regularly check up on us to make sure that we were coping well. She is someone that is extremely trust worthy and will treat you and your family like her own.

I would highly recommend Tais as a doula. Her help got me through some really tough days!

We worked with Tais when our baby was 1-3 months old, and could not recommend her more! Her caring nature and eagerness to help is evident in everything she does. The postpartum period is very challenging, but having support from Tais with baby care and brainstorming, as well as smaller tasks like washing bottle/pump parts made all the difference.

We used Tais as our postpartum doula for our twins, which I am so glad we did! Tais was punctual, passionate and great with our boys. She was great at educating and supporting our family.

I absolutely recommend Tais as a doula and will be hiring her again for my next birth. She's an amazing person that I now consider a friend! I chose her because she has a very calming personality and her passion for facilitating a meaningful birth was very evident. I was extremely grateful to have her as a support person along with my husband, as hospital staff rotates and doesn't always take time to learn your wishes.
Was my birth perfect? No - things deviated from my carefully laid out birth plan, but Tais helped me feel as in control as possible and was a very grounding presence even when I was in a ton of pain. She wouldn't like me saying this but I loved her ice-cold hands!! I was burning up the whole time and I'll never forget how good they felt.
If you are looking for a Doula that is kind, calming, knowledgeable and supportive, please consider Tais.

Tais is a dedicated doula with a lot of enthusiasm for her profession and a strong desire to help new moms, their babies, and their family during the postpartum period. I was so grateful to have her support during the first several weeks after my son's birth. At first, my son stayed with Tais at night so that I could get some much needed rest between feedings, and so she could observe him more closely. In those early days, it was very comforting to have her looking after him while i slept, listening to his breathing and making sure he was OK. It helped me relax so i could sleep. Later, I found that I slept easier when he was right next to me in his bassinet, so we changed the sleeping arrangements and Tais was flexible and supportive as we changed the set-up to meet our family's needs. Tais is very knowledgable about infants, birth, and the postpartum period and I loved learning something new from her each time she came to our house. She supported our family at night, but I would also recommend her if you are considering postpartum support during the day because she has so much knowledge to share!

Tais is a lifesaver. For a good night’s sleep or to feel taken care of, we can’t recommend her enough. She was able to quickly understand us and our needs and gave us help we didn’t even know we needed.

From the moment she walks through our door, she gets busy working on washing bottles, folding laundry, feeding us, and making sure we are getting the rest we need.  She is resourceful with anything I’m struggling with relating to breastfeeding and recovery from my c section and will show up the next time with something to make life easier.  She even plays with our toddler if she is home from daycare so that she gets the attention she needs during this world-turning event in her life.

I like to think sometimes that I can do it all, but when Tais shows up, a weight is lifted and we can catch up a bit so that we’ll be in the best shape to enjoy our beautiful growing family.  Favorite memory: waking up to the smell of lactation cookies baking after the best rest we’ve had since our baby girl came home!

I'd like to share my awesome experience working with Tais. She is an amazing doula and offered me so much support during my pregnancy and birth experience. I felt very comfortable and never pressured during our time together. She made sure that I was in charge and was there to emphasize my birth plan and wishes. I believe it's very important to have someone with experience around to help teach and share their knowledge, and Tais did that for me. I'm pleased with the way she offered me resources and tips to prepare me on my journey. I felt much more confident in my exciting and somewhat nerve wracking pregnancy. This was my first child and I'm super happy that I was able to have someone like Tais by my side. She went above and beyond for me during this intense and emotional time. I'd definitely have her as my doula again and would recommend her services to mothers needing close support. Tais provided me with knowledge about my baby and was more than willing to lend a helping hand postpartum. She was not only empathetic and supportive but very flexible with my needs. I'm super thankful to have worked with her, and I'm 100% sure that my birth experience wouldn't have been as positive without her.

Tais helped us during the birth of our son. Her presence was invaluable during the labor as well as the first month as it gave us the confidence and support we needed. It especially mattered a lot more since we couldn't have our family close by due to the pandemic. Apart from being very professional in her work, she was patient and empathetic. She made sure that my husband and I were doing well emotionally. Her postpartum care was exceptional and she made it all the more special for us by learning and preparing meals from our traditional cuisine. We were able to troubleshoot a lot of our questions about caring for our son with her and Tais was more than happy to provide additional resources when necessary. We couldn't have done it all without her and we highly recommend Tais to anyone looking for birth and postpartum care.

Tais was fantastic in helping us through the first month of our second son.  She was very thorough and helped out without much direction.  She would just take on things by herself and get it done.  She provided immense support for me during birth representing my preferences, during the first month helping with everything so I could just focus on recovery.  I don't think I could have gone by month one so smoothly without Tais support which I am so grateful for.

We coudn't have a better experience during our daughter's birth than we had with Tais, she helped not just my wife but all of us in the room by preparing us for everything that was going to happen amd making sure that we were only getting what WE wanted. We are very proud to say that Tais was there during our child birth.

Tais was great to me and I now have a friend in her. I could trust her, rely on her, and she helped make my delivery easier. She removed a lot of weight from my shoulders, letting me focus on what mattered, which was to have a healthy baby and to keep myself healthy and happy. Everything I needed she would have for me.

She was a great partner to my husband and worked very closely with him too, all with respect for my own decisions. She was very professional and respectful of me and my choices.
