Becca was so supportive during a wild time! She answered all of our weird questions and helped us to navigate formula feeding and bottle feeding when we struggled with breastfeeding and connected us to a great lactation consultant. Our baby really struggled with sleep and she taught us so many techniques to help soothe him and get him to nap, and later on how to entertain him as he got a little bigger and needed more stimulation in the day. We don't have family nearby, so it was also so comforting to have someone we trust take care of our baby while we caught a little sleep. I don't know how we would have gotten through those first few months without her help to navigate all things new baby.

I cannot say enough good things about Becca! She supported me and our family in ways that I didn't even know were possible. She is a wealth of knowledge and experience and whenever she walked through the door, I felt like I could take a deep breath. She approached all situations with kindness, compassion, and empathy. As a new parent, I had so many questions - ALL THE TIME! Becca was an incredible sounding board and always offered a tremendous amount of experience, while also offering resources and the opportunity to learn more. She empowered me as a new mom to ask questions and trust my gut. She affirmed my parenting and allowed me to feel safe in all states of being (e.g. tired, hungry, sad, frustrated, etc.). Becca became like a part of our family and our little one absolutely adored her. You would be lucky to have her work with your family!!

Becca is an amazing postpartum doula and an overall great human being. Her experience and thoughtful presence were a godsend during the bleary fourth trimester; we felt immediately comfortable with her and trusted her. She was there for us in a variety of capacities, from helping us get more sleep to putting together our carseat to answering our approximately six million new parent questions. If you're looking for someone non-judgemental, intelligent, and knowledgable who's ready to help you integrate parenthood into your life (whatever that means for you), look no further.

My partner & I hired Becca to be our postpartum doula after the birth of our baby & it's one of the best things we did to prepare for the postpartum period. Becca is so knowledgeable on so many different things related to babies & new parenthood, set up a meal train so that folks could drop off food on a schedule so we were not having to coordinate who was bring what on what day, & helped out around our apartment with laundry & the dreaded ~dishes~ that seem to multiply when we aren't looking. I am generally a person who likes to putz about & she held our baby while I was able to cross a few small projects off of my to-do list. She is also just a fabulous listening ear to all of my postpartum feelings & doesn't show any judgement to any of the decisions my partner & I make as parents. Our dogs Buddha & Ruby are so excited to see her when she gets here, too. Becca is a gem & you definitely need to have her on your support team!

I had no idea what a postpartum doula could do. I thought someone else to hold the baby every now and then would be a nice helpful break. But my God, Becca is so much more than that. From preparing meals, to strategically placing little baskets of one-handed snacks around the house, to helping introduce a bottle--Becca was beyond helpful in the days after coming home from the hospital. I cannot recommend her enough. In fact, this review barely even scratches the surface.
