Tahia was our doula for our first birth in early 2024. From the beginning I felt like wete in such good hands. Meeting Tahia was the start of actually being excited for birth rather than scared. She is such a calming presence, absolutely non-judgemental and knowledgeable. She gave great suggestions about my birth plan and was very comforting on the day, offering excellent help and guidance for both my husband and I. In our early postpartum days, she supported us with regular visits and helped us learn and feel comfortable as new parents. I highly recommend Tahia!

We really appreciated our experience with Tahia. She was professional, supportive every step of the way and a huge help especially postpartum. I loved our prenatal yoga sessions and postpartum head massages. She was so caring, thoughtful and flexible with our needs. Her calm and confident presence were reassuring and helped us feel comfortable and trusting in her from the beginning. I would like to share my experience with Ms. TAHIA AHMED here. I had a baby in January 2023. We were new here in canada at that time and didn't have any friends and family with us. In that critical situation/time, I had my doula TAHIA with me at all the time. That was a huge help for me with care and affection. I can never forget that great time I spent with my doula. Tahia is amazing! She supported me during the miraculous journey of childbirth and beyond. Words cannot express the profound gratitude I have for Tahia's unwavering support, guidance, and compassion throughout my pregnancy, labour, and postpartum period.

During my pregnancy, she ensured I felt empowered, informed, and prepared for the birth of my child. She took the time to listen attentively to my hopes and expectations and helped me develop a birth plan which I shared with my midwife team.

She was the first to arrive to our home while I was in labour. She helped to provide encouragement and comfort while I started to feel immense pain. Her pain-copeing techniques helped me navigate the waves of intensity that the contractions brought on. She advocated for my choices, ensuring that my birth plan was respected and honored by my midwives. She also made sure I was well hydrated during labour.

Having a home birth can also mean greater mess, but Tahia was so willing to help clean up the mess. When our baby arrived, she made sure I wasn't hungry, and helped to prepare delicious snacks.

Tahia's support didn't end with the arrival of my baby. In the postpartum period, she continued to be an invaluable resource, making sure she let me know she was available anytime to assist with our baby. She even made soup and banana bread for us - ooooh soooo gooood!!!

I cannot express enough how much of a positive impact Tahia was on my birthing experience. Her dedication, expertise, and genuine care were evident in every interaction we had. She created a space where I felt heard, supported, and cherished.

If you are considering a doula for your own birthing experience, I wholeheartedly recommend this extraordinary individual. With her by your side, you can rest assured that you will receive the highest level of personalized care and unwavering support. She is a true gift to any expecting family.
