From our first phone call with Madeline, i immediately knew my husband and I found our doula. Madeline has such a calming presence and right away we were put at ease during our initial conversation. This continued throughout our experience working with her as our doula! Each time we met or spoke with Madeline, she gave us her full attention and asked us questions to make sure she fully understood our birth plan. I never once felt pushed to move in a certain direction with our birth plan, and instead felt completely heard, understood and supported in our wishes for a natural hospital birth with as few interventions as possible. During our birth experience, Madeline was so supportive - offering guidance over the phone to determine whether it was time to go to the hospital, providing birthing positions once at the hospital, and support suggestions for my husband. Once our baby was born and the delivery room was a flutter with nurses around our daughter, Madeline kept her attention on me to ensure I was ok. She explained what was going on with the baby, next steps in delivering the placenta, and helped me shower and dress. For this, I truly can’t thank her enough. When Madeline visited us postpartum, it was such a breath of normalcy after a few days of delirium. She answered all our questions, made us feel seen with our concerns, talked through the birth experience, and helped me with breastfeeding / pumping questions and baby wearing. I cannot recommend Madeline enough for anyone looking to have a calm, positive birth experience - especially if you’re looking to have as natural a birth as possible in a hospital setting. We had an incredible time with her!

We worked with Maddie at the suggestion of another doula that we trusted, and it was a great recommendation. She helped us with overnights for our then 7-8 month old son. Maddie is a calm and reassuring presence for first time parents. We quickly trusted her and knew that Maxwell was in good hands and would be safe and well-cared for with her throughout the night. But Maddie went above and beyond that and helped us with thoughtful suggestions about sleep and taking care of Max in general. She directed us to the best book we have found on babies sleeping. Both her expereince as a doula and as a mom was invaluable. She was always punctual despite driving a long distance and somehow never seemed to tire despite caring for her own young ones as well.
After Maddie left us to have her third child, we looked her up months later and she helped us again with getting Max to finally sleep through the night. Her presence and advice throughout that process gave us the confidence to take initial difficult steps that we had avoided and that ultimately led to him sleeping through the night independently in short order. She was educated, flexible and easy to work with during a stressful time. The gift of our little guy sleeping through the night reliably is almost incalcuable.
We cannot recommend Maddie highly enough.

I found Maddie through her Facebook page and was immediately interested in working with her based off of the fact that she had previous experience with aiding mom's who were trying to have a VBAC. We also have a shared faith background, which was another important piece for me personally.
Maddie was always very communicative, attentive, down to earth, and an amazing listener. She heard me out when I explained my previous labor and birth experiences and validated my hesitation and fears surrounding my upcoming birth, helping me visualize the positive birth I could have and realize that I could in fact expect more from my experiences.
Throughout my pregnancy, Maddie answered any questions I had to the best of her ability and went so far as to send me resources with further information if I was interested.
When it came time for me to call her when I started labor, she answered almost immediately, even though it was the middle of the night and she herself has little ones at home to think of and take care of! She went out of her way to meet us at our preferred hospital and was a huge support all throughout my labor there.
I ended up getting the VBAC I wanted so badly and really think that having Maddie there with us as my doula was part of our success! I would recommend her to anyone looking for doula support!

I would not have had the pregnancy or the birth that I did without Maddie.
She went above and beyond throughout my pregnancy, talked me through every new symptom, gave me helpful advice for everything from nausea to hemorrhoids to relationships.
I texted her almost every day, and despite my pestering her, Maddie never stopped being an encouraging, helpful and patient friend to go through pregnancy with.
When our labor went awry, and we found ourselves being emergently transferred to the hospital, Maddie was our rock. She helped my husband navigate the hospital parking system, guided me through pushing, and gave me the support I needed when I had absolutely given up and felt like I could not possibly continue.
Thanks to Maddie's support, our daughter was born healthy, with minimal medical interventions, and despite the surprise transfer, our birth plan was followed.
Maddie also helped us postpartum. She guided us through sleep training, different worries for our daughter, breastfeeding, pumping, how to handle the return to work.
As we plan our next baby, we are already planning to ask Maddie to work with us again. We cannot imagine having done this without her help and support. I cannot recommend her highly enough, as her support made a huge difference through every part of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.

My husband and I had an amazing birth and we couldn't have done it without the suport and guidance of our doula, Maddie. Her commitment to us was remarkable for having known her for just a short time. We can't say enough about her as a person and doula. Even after the birth she continued her support on a regular basis and even drove to our house to bring her very own sling baby carrier for us to use for our baby. She took candid, classy photographs during the birth and was very unobtrusive while taking them. Those pictures we continue to look back on as she really captured the moment and we are so grateful to have them. She is a kind and generous person and and we are blessed to have had her as our doula. Can't recommend her enough.

Madeline agreed to be my doula for the birth of my third baby in February of 2023. I cannot speak highly enough of how much I loved having her! She was so good about finding what we wanted/needed from her and then going above and beyond our expectations.
My labor was about 24 hours long and she was so helpful through out it. But I especially needed her around 21 hours into it, when I was just so mentally, emotionally, and physically exhausted. Madeline took such good care of me. From making sure I ate and drank to having a heart to heart/pep talk to help me get through the final few hours of labor.
She is so kind, caring, and professional, while still giving tough love when needed.
I am so thankful we had her, and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a doula!

I am grateful we were able to work with Madeline! She was available for us even with a last minute request. She was on call for us leading up to the birth, and has continued to be in these couple weeks after the birth. She taught my husband ahead of time a few things to do to help relieve me during contractions. We were grateful for this because he wanted to be more involved during the birth. She also encapsulated my placenta for me and brought it over to my house a few days after the birth. She was kind, professional, available and helpful... We appreciated her!

I had a great experience working with Madeline. From the beginning, she was laid back and easy to connect with. I really felt her support leading up to and during my birth. She had a lot of helpful suggestions for handling my pain. At the same time, she wasn't obtrusive at all. The whole time, I knew she was there to support my birth the way I wanted it to happen. This was my most empowering birth and I'm very grateful that she was part of it.

Madeline was amazing and really supportive of what I wanted for my birth. We talked about wants and expectations during our first prenatal visit. She was available via phone and text during the whole pregnancy then she was on call for us 24/7 a few weeks before the due date. I was admitted to the hospital for induction at 37 weeks and Madeline was available on the phone for all the different stages of the induction. She checked in on me everyday and came to the hospital when it was time to give birth. She stayed with us in the room until we were settled and made sure we were doing well before leaving. She encapsulated my placenta and delivered it a few days later. She checked on us at home twice and made sure we were doing well. She was so helpful when we needed to talk about the changes to the birth plan. We are so glad we hired her for the birth. It would have been completely different and we would have been lost without her.

Madi was so supportive during labor and helped me stay focused. She took control of my support like we asked since this was our first baby and we didn't know how it would all go. My husband now fully knows what to do for our 2nd and how to support me thanks to her! I went into labor pretty fast and she was there as soon as she could. I have no doubt had I needed to be transferred to the hospital she would've advocated for me and my wishes to the very end. I had an amazing time with her and felt she fulfilled all my needs as well as answered all questions I had both while pregnant and postpartum. Thank you Madi!

I’m so grateful for the support, guidance and education Maddie provided for me before, during and after my labor/delivery. Her warm and kind nature helped ease my nerves leading up to the big day. During early labor she was very paitent and responsive to all my questions. When active labor began, she was so attentive and supportive the entire time. Her calm and caring energy were a big part of my positive birth story. I would absolutely reccomend her to anyone looking for support during this journey!

My husband and I feel so privedged and grateful we hired Madeline as our doula. She was very personable, flexible, warm, knowledgeable, and extremely patient. I had many false labors and each time I texted/spoke with her and she was always on call and available. When it was finally go time she guided my husband with how to support me and recommended different positions while laboring & delivering. With her help I was able to deliver an 11+ pounder all natural! I highly recommend her as a doula!

I had a great experience with Maddie and the care she provided. She has a gentle spirit but carries herself with confidence. That's something I really liked about her, it helped me connect with her as a person but also feel like I could trust what she said.
She helped me put some of my fears at ease.
She took time before I was in labor to talk/ check in/ encourage and then during labor she was right there with me.
She helped greatly with pain management techniques and also taught them to my mom and sister so they could play a role in the delivery.
Overall, a 10/10 experience. I highly recommend Maddie ( I actually did recommend her to a friend! So there's proof ! )

Working with Maddie was an amazing experience and look forward to doing so again in the future! Her support and expertise allowed my husband and I to have wonderful out of hospital birth experience. While this was not our first birth, it was at our first at a birth center and Maddie's constant guidance and advice was most helpful, especially through labor and delivery! She was amazing at providing constant counter pressure and countless ways for pain management, as well as remaining calm, cool and collected allowing for us to have a peaceful and stress free experience! My husband and I can't say enough good things about our time with her!

Madeline was a wonderful caring doula with my recent birth. She really helped relieve the pain of the contractions, and also took very good care of me, keeping me hydrated, etc. When complications arose with the birth of my son Madeline was so supportive and caring. Her sweet personality and friendliness definitely makes her an excellent choice for a doula!

Maddie was amazing! She was warm, kind, and a great communicator. We found the support/resources she provided to be exactly what we needed to prepare for labor, delivery, and life as parents!
We matched up with A Mother's Perspective / Maddie after a few weeks of searching for a doula. My midwife recommended AMP and we were able to connect early on in my third trimester. We had a couple of phone calls and two prenatal home visits. We found Maddie to be a helpful voice of reason as my due date neared-- especially with the pandemic's lingering hold on hospitals and delta variant infections on the rise. She assured us that doulas were allowed as additional support visitors and, when my labor started unexpectedly (of course) and with a bang in the middle of the night, she was a great guide through whatever stage of labor I was in (honestly, it's just a painful blur). Maddie reminded us of the tools we had and encouraged us to put them into practice. She also SPED to the hospital when it came time for me to check in and brought a positive burst of energy right when I needed it.
While it's very lucky that many of my (natural) preferencs aligned with Maddie's own preferences and experiences, I know she would have been supportive of any parents' choices. She asked questions that we hadn't considered when it came to preparing for labor, delivery, and parenthood (childcare, pediatricians, and meal planning) that helped us begin a lot of important conversations as a couple and family. Maddie was always just a text away and I relied on her heavily in the last few weeks of my pregnancy and first weeks of motherhood. She even brought us homemade cookies at our postnatal visit. Maddie is a wonderful doula and human being. We can't recommend her or AMP enough!

I'm so grateful that Maddie was our doula for our first birth. She helped us feel prepared for labor and her support/prayers during labor and delivery were priceless. She helped us make the best decisions by facilitating conversation when my OB suddenly informed us that she "booked the OR for a C-section" before we had agreed upon this. In the end I know Maddie played a large role in bringing our healthy boy into the world via vaginal delivery. I appreciate her calm and stable demeanor most.

We recommend Maddie 100% for a doula at your birth! She was super helpful at recommending different positions and things to try for the contraction pain. Due to the baby's head not being well positioned and other circumstances, I didn't end up having the birth I had planned for but Maddie was there through everything and I was so glad she was!

I reached out to Madeline around 37 weeks pregnant, she was quick to respond and flexible with taking me on as a client later in my pregnancy. She was always available and made sure to have a back up plan in case I couldn't reach her. My husband and I found her knowledge and exercises before my delivery extremely helpful. In fact, some of that knowledge allowed me to avoid a C-section as my baby was not ideally positioned and required some maneuvering. Madeline is very supportive and easy going, I recommend her!

Maddie was my doula for my surrogate pregnancy/birth, and words cannot express how grateful I am that she was a part of it. I set a goal to labor all naturally, and because of the preparation, guidance, and support she provided me I was able to achieve that! She is so sweet and knowledgeable and if you are looking for a doula to help educate and guide you through your pregnancy and birth experience, look no further! I will always be grateful that she was the one holding my right hand as my little surro babe was born, and should I have any more pregnancies in the future she will be one of the first calls I make. I will never truly be able to describe what she has come to mean to me.

Madeline assisted at three of my births, all of which were Homebirths. She was very helpful with my other kids, she kept the house clean and tried different massage techniques and oil blends to alleviate pain. She also cooked many meals and was a big help during the postpartum period. We would definitely have Madeline again as our doula!
