Though trained in 2019, I have only begun more consistently providing birth support to people. I'm so grateful to individuals and families wiling to allow me to join their journey. I have pursued additional training around providing gender affirming care to Trans and queer birthing folks and supporting fertility and conception. I am a student of herbalism, certified in pediatric CPR and lover of supporting new families build structures of care that work for them.

Nora was a critical, eperienced and life-saving part of our postpartum care team after the birth of our first child. With almost no family around, and isolation due to COVID, Nora's care was a much-needed balm after a very long and hard pregnancy and delivery. She offered non-judgemental care for the mamas and our baby, including wisdom around breastfeeding and pumping. She was always ready to jump in a help us ease our loads, whether that was rocking the baby so mamas could nap (or shower!), washing countless bottles, or changing diapers. Nora did all of this while offering tips, practical advice and also supporting us to trust our instincts as new parents. She was excellent about being on time, communicating, taking COVID precautions seriously, and she was warm, helpful, and generous!

When I look back on what helped our family heal during the first 40 days postpartum, what I'm sure of is that we couldn't have done it without her! Nora's care allowed us to integrate and surrender into our new roles and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for compassionate and wise care.

Nora provided post partum doula services for me and my family. She was very skilled at balancing hands on care with allowing space for myself and my partner to figure out how to have our needs best met. She provided judgement free, kind and wholistic care. She helped navigate difficulty breast feeding and made sure I ate and cared for myself as I learned to feed my baby. She also is always ready with the comic releif but also knows how to read the room when comedy might not be the best answer.

I highly recommend nora as a doula. I'm so grateful I sought out her compassionate care at such an important and tender time in myself.

Nora was my doula for the birth of my second child and I am so thankful to have had her support. I did not have a doula for my first birth and the difference was enormous. Having Nora to support me made me feel more confident and empowered in laboring how I wanted to, and not feeling like I needed to appease the nurses and doctors who have their own ideas of how things should go. The first time around, I struggled to advocate for myself and looked to the nurses for guidance; the second time, I looked within myself and felt confident that Nora had my back. Nora helped guide me through my contractions and helped me manage pain without needing an epidural. She supported and encouraged me as I pushed, and kept me calm when the doctor and nurses got intense about various potential complications. What I really appreciated is how much Nora helped me to feel in control, despite how chaotic labor and birth are. Her calm, loving energy was invaluable and was exactly what I needed. I cannot overstate how helpful Nora was in this process.
