I highly recommend Krista, she was responsive and attentive. I felt throughly supported throughout my labor and delivery. She made sure my needs were met. I am so thankful for her presence at the birth of our baby girl.

In our first prenatal visit, Krista asked me to think about my goals for the birth, and I honestly felt like I was describing some impossible ones. I’m happy to report that because she believed it was possible, I did meet each of my goals.

Because of all the complications I’d had after the birth of my first child, I knew I wanted things to be different this time, but I didn’t have confidence in my ability to see it through. Krista empowered me and my husband to take charge of the experience this time and to believe we could have a positive outcome. I am 100% certain I wouldn’t have achieved my goals without her support. Her knowledge, skills, optimism, and confidence in me all made it possible for me to deliver unmedicated in a hospital setting despite my high risk status. She was a fantastic advocate for our birth plan and great at communicating with the practitioners throughout our 12 hours in labor & delivery. She was there throughout the whole process as someone to talk to, laugh with, to literally lean on and to squeeze through the pain. Most of my memories of the 1 hour of pushing before I met my (9lb 12oz!!) baby are hearing her encouraging words in my ear and feeling her supportive touch.

In addition to having a healthy baby, I ended up with a shorter hospital stay and much smoother and shorter postpartum recovery period. Working with Krista was the best decision we could’ve made.

I'm so happy to have found Krista and chose her to be my doula. We had a couple other great doula options, but Krista felt right. She was working towards getting her doula certification and I could see her passion for the practice when we met. She did have prior doula experience as well, so she was not in the blind. We met later in my pregnancy, and I couldn't make up my mind on hiring a doula, but I'm so glad I did! She was informative in any way she could, and the day of the birth (at 38 weeks, 2 days - early and unanticipated), she was ready, very comforting. My husband has always been there and on top of things, but we couldn't have done this without her support. My labor was quick and I wanted a natural birth. She helped me accomplish that! I am beyond thankful. Birthing a baby is no stroll in the park, especially al naturalle!! Ha!! But Krista helped me focus, and keep on doing what I needed to do. You will be in great hands hiring Krista.

From our first meeting with Krista, we knew she was the right doula for our needs. She supported our plan for a natural hospital VBAC, and we could tell she would do whatever we needed her for depending on how labor and delivery went. We took a private in-home childbirth class for VBAC, and although this was our second child, we learned things that we didn't know before. It was a comfortable and enjoyable experience that definitely contributed to our relationship and our successful VBAC. All of our meetings with Krista were postiive experiences and really prepared us for birth. I had a very long and difficult labor and Krista was a constant support, initially by phone call and text, and eventually in person for 24 hours at the hospital. She stood by me with confidence that I could have the delivery I had planned for even when things got tough. I very much doubt that I would have had a successful natural VBAC if it weren't for all of the preparation and support that Krista gave me during pregnancy and labor.
