Julia started to care for our daughter when she was 2 months old. This was the first time we would be leaving our baby with anyone and we were understandably nervous. We are so lucky we found Julia! Right away she made us feel so comfortable and was a natural caring for our baby. She seamlessly knew how to comfort her when she was upset, and make her smile and happy. Julia was extremely open and warmly receptive to our first time parent instructions and asks. She would play with our daughter in all the various activities we had at home and always spoke to her in the most kind gentle and caring tone. We felt 100% confident leaving the house when Julia was here with our daughter. We knew she was in good hands and was happy, healthy, clean and cared for with love. Having Julia in our home was a true blessing and any family would be lucky to have her care for their child.

Julia provided support for me and my family during the first 4 months with our baby. She was such a wonderful presence in our lives and really helped us navigate becoming parents. Julia is incredibly knowledgeable and capable in infant care and I felt comfort in knowing my baby was receieving excellent care and love from Julia when I needed moments of rest and recharge. She helped us through a bunch of firsts with our baby such as bathing, nail care, getting a temperature read, and feeding techniques with both breast and bottle. Julia is great about being flexible and adaptable with what each day brings, whether it was house chores, an unexpected trip to the doctor, or extra attention and play for our cat, and it was incredibly easy to schedule time with her. She stays on top of the schedule and communicates well so you can stay focused and don't have to think too far ahead. Julia provided us with the support we really needed during the postpartum period and we all really enjoyed her company. I suffered an unexpected complication during pregnancy, and having Julia jump in without hesitation to support me in recovery and beyond was an incredible relief. I highly recommend Julia!

Julia is an absolute pleasure to be around and is wonderful with babies. I highly recommend her as a postpartum doula. She helped us out for about 3 months and in that time I saw first-hand how caring she is for babies as well as myself, as a newly postpartum mother. She is a wealth of information and has a wonderful demeanor. She was never pushy or preachy - her gentle approach was very much welcomed in our home during a time that could have been intense/stressful. I found myself wanting to just hang out and chat with her because she was so lovely to have in our home. Lastly, she was very flexible with us in scheduling, which was very much appreciated. Julia is an all around gem. I have nothing but the best things to say about her.

Julia supported me as a post Partum Doula the first few weeks after I came home from the hospital. I am a first time mom and she made me feel so ease and helped me with many “firsts”: leaving the apartment,  setting up a baby monitor, arranging my breastfeeding area, assistance with breastfeeding and pumping,  babywearing, etc. She is willing to help with laundry and cooking also. Julia has a very calm and nurturing demeanor that soothed me and my baby girl. I would highly recommend Julia!

Julia is the sweetest and just who you want to have around when you’re exhausted and overwhelmed with being a new mom! Julia is very calm and reassuring and helped me through a difficult period of breastfeeding. Without Julia’s help I wouldn’t have been able to continue breastfeeding. I called Julia the baby whisperer because she was so good with our baby and always able to calm her down and get her to sleep.

Julia has been reliable, warm, and wonderful with my children. She has helped me so get through a difficult period, and she made all the difference as she was upbeat, willing, and proactive to help with anything that I needed. Julia is warm and caring and my older son warmed up to her right away. Julia is proactive and thought of things that she can help with when I didn't even know what I needed. When the baby was sleeping, she has helped me reorganize around the home and clear some clutter. I highly recommend Julia and am so grateful for her help!

I worked with Julia postpartum, and she was a thoughtful, knowledgeable and calming presence for both me and my newborn son. Her instincts are spot-on and she was able to provide exactly the emotional and practical support we needed during this crucial time. She helped with everything from organization to nap strategies, even helping me to arrange a donation for clothes and diapers my son had already outgrown. Plus, my son and our pets (who were feeling neglected in the postpartum period) all loved her! I'd recommend her to anyone seeking doula support for birth or in the postpartum period.

Julia came to our home twice in our second week with baby #2 and I dont know what I would have done without her! We we're truly overwhelmed, our dishes we're piling up, and we had no food. She cleaned, organized, made sure I was fed, ran errands, and helped with laundry. Each day that she was with us finally felt like a calm within the storm - we knew we'd survive! If you are looking for help to get through the early postpartum days, I highly recommend Julia!
