Phelicia has been such an incredible pillar of support for me in my journey of motherhood.   

I met her in 2023 when she was assigned to be my postpartum doula with my firstborn—showing up in those raw, fragile early days with patience, calm, and a kind of care that went far beyond a checklist. She didn’t just help me learn how to care for my baby; she helped me learn how to care for myself in a season when that felt nearly impossible. She listened without judgment, offered guidance without pressure, and somehow always knew exactly when to step in and when to simply sit beside me. 

When I learned that Phelicia would be my birth doula, a wave of relief came over me. I already trusted her completely—and that trust changed everything. She was a calming prescience, a gentle advocate, a quiet anchor, and a source of reassurance when things felt overwhelming. Phelicia knew I wanted a natural birth, and she knew just when to push me and when to simply be.

What makes her extraordinary is not just her knowledge or experience (which are immense), but her nurturing spirit. She brings empathy, integrity, and deep humanity into every space she enters. As a friend, she has walked with me through anxiety, fear, and transition. As a doula, she held me through some of my most vulnerable moments with care and respect I will always be grateful for.

I truly cannot imagine my journey into motherhood without her. I feel a deep sense of privilege to know her and to have had her by my side.

We are beyond grateful for Phelicia and cannot recommend her highly enough. From the moment we were in the hospital, she took such incredible care of my wife — calm, attentive, and deeply knowledgeable when we needed it most. Her presence made an overwhelming experience feel grounded and supported.

After we came home, Phelicia continued to be an absolute lifeline for our family. She anticipated our needs, supported us through the early postpartum days with so much care and compassion, and helped us build confidence as new parents.

On top of everything, she is an amazing photographer. She captured the most beautiful, intimate moments of our little family — photos we will treasure forever. We’re so thankful to have these memories preserved so thoughtfully.

Phelicia is a lifesaver. She helped me in my journey into motherhood by using her knowledge and experience and helping me navigate the challenges of nursing babies with tongue ties. She is patient, observant, and invested in each and every one of her clients. She is aware that each baby and mother are vastly  different and that one technique or method might not be universal. She invests her time and energy in to every mother and baby and I could not recommend anyone else I would trust more as a doula or a lactation consultant. She was all of those things and so much more. Any new mother would benefit from having Phelicia there for you and your baby.
