We had an amazing experience working with Jessica. Jessica was very knowledgeable and worked to understand our goals. We trusted that she would calmly and competently respond to our needs throughout labor and delivery. With her support we were able to meet those goals. Prior to giving birth, Jessica provided relevant information and resources based on our needs and questions. She advocated for what we wanted at the hospital and helped us to make decisions without seeking to influence those decisions. She was always kind and compassionate. We look forward to working with her again!

Jessica was a fantastic doula during the birth of my first child! We connected with Jessica right away at the initial meeting before the birth, and my husband and I were so thankful to have such a wonderful advocate for us during the delivery. She helped my husband know exactly what he could do to help me best during the birth. Jessica was also able to move me into many different positions that helped move the baby into an optimal position for delivery. Since the baby was surprisingly large for his gestational age (he was almost ten pounds!), the manuevers that Jessica helped me with potentially saved me from having to have an emergency C-section. We were able to have the vaginal delivery that I always wanted, and I felt that Jessica was such a calming presence during the entire process.

Following the delivery, it was great to see Jessica the next week at the postpartum visit. She has been so helpful to us and I really do not believe we would have had nearly as good a birth experience without her. I would recommend Jessica to anyone to improve the birth/postpartum experience- she was truly worth it!

When we initially met with Jessica, as we searched for a doula, we felt an instant connection. Jessica made us feel at ease, at home, and really seen throughout the entire process. She is extremely knowledgeable and experienced when it comes to supporting couples as a birth doula. She is very responsive to any questions or concerns you may have and communicates well. We truly don't believe we would have made it through the last leg of pregnancy and the delivery in the same amazing way we did without her. Jessica was integral to our experience both in navigating challenges with delivery, helping us advocate for what we wanted, changing plans as needed, and navigating hospital staff and procedures. Her sensitivity, encouragement, and kindness in her support of us and our baby boy truly made all the difference. She doesn't just treat you like a client, she treats you like family. We highly recommend Jessica to anyone looking for a Doula to help support them through pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum.

Jessica was absolutely fantastic to work with.  Her calm, settled demeanor was extremely comforting in the lead up to the delivery.  She helped us create a robust birth plan and prepare for the day of.  During the delivery, she was a focused, active participant helping Katie with different positions which materially assisted with shortening the birthing process.  The follow up after delivery was also helpful as we navigated our return home and settling into the newborn phase.  I can't recommend Jessica enough, as she was professional, helpful, warm, and overall a fantastic help during the pre- post- and during the delivery process.

We were very fortunate to have Jessica with us for several weeks. Our baby suddenly started rejecting bottles. Jessica was very patient and persistent which we very much appreciated. She continued to talk with our baby, calm her down, and keep trying to bottle feed. Small steps, our baby began to slowly take sips from the bottle again.

Jessica has a positive attitude. When the baby is sleeping, she helps sterilize the bottles and keeps busy. ??We very much appreciate Jessica's effort in doing activities with our baby like tummy time and reading books. She truly cares about her role in supporting baby and the family.

I met with Jessica towards the end of a high risk pregnancy with complications feeling a vbac was slipping away even though it was still something I wanted. By the end of that chat, I knew if I had any chance of a successful vbac this time around, Jessica could get me there. We did the birth planning chats & I called her when an induction was scheduled, she gave me such an outline of events it made the medical aspects of the actual induction day recede into the background quite a bit for what was a dream birth for me. There was a point things were stalled despite high petocin and Jessica really shined and toon over...sharing the objective odds about where we were but creating such a positive atmosphere with the tea lights & music & dim lights that when we began the pace of contortionist positions to try to get the baby down and labor progressing, I was still hopeful. I'll never forget hearing that I should prepare to push and realizing it was actually happening. I've since turned into one of those people who watch their own birth videos because it was such an amazing, glorious experience. I'm so grateful I was able to work with such a skilled but also kind and supportive birth doula; it was absolutely worth the investment.

I couldn't be happier with my experience with Jessica. We initially met when I was working as a Labor and delivery nurse and 35 weeks pregnant. After working together, I knew i'd found the doula for me. She was incredibly personable, professional, and skilled. Even before my Labor she put so much effort into ensuring both my husband and I felt ready. My entire labor she kept me grounded and calm, even well into active labor. Her presence and interventions genuinely helped manage my pain and helped me maintain my composure. She was always there when I needed her and was a constant supportive presence. Jessica kept me mobile, hydrated, and feeling encouraged throughout my entire labor. When things deviated from my birth plan she always double checked with me to make sure I was truly ok with it. As an L&D nurse i've worked with many doulas and know that they aren't all the same. I can honestly say I wish every mom had the opportunity to have a doula like Jessica during their labor. Although it was definitely one of the hardest things I've gone through, I loved my labor experience so much. Looking back I felt heard, supported, and powerful in what I accomplished. I know a big part of that came from the work Jessica put into making my Labor what I wanted. Whether a mom wants to go unmedicated or not, having Jessica there is definitely worth it.

I could not have given birth without Jessica by my side. She was my champion thoughout my entire labor and kept me going at multiple times when I wanted to give up. She helped me stick to my birth plan of having an unmedicated and natural birth experience in a hospital setting. She helped me get through each contraction and through 3 hours of pushing. She also coached me through early labor and helped me figure out when it was time to go to the hospital. I could not recommend Jessica enough to anyone giving birth! Whether it be your first time or your fifth time!

Jessica served as an overnight postpartum doula for me for the first eight weeks after the birth of my daughter on December 3, 2022.  Jessica is very sweet and attentive and my daughter absolutely loved her.  I also felt very much at ease with having Jessica attend to my daughter at night as I could tell she absolutely loves babies and she is very knowledgeable about caring for them.  I chose to breastfeed my daughter and Jessica made sure that I got as much sleep as possible during the nights she was in my home by helping to get my baby girl down for the night and then waking me only when she needed to eat.  Jessica also has training with breastfeeding and was able to help me try some different positions and also helped when I had sore nipples.  I would definitely call Jessica again for postpartum help if I'm fortunate to have another little one.  She is very caring both towards Mom and baby and was invaluable during my first weeks with my baby girl.

Jessica was a calm, non-judgmental, knowledgeable, and irreplaceable presence during my pregnancy and during the birth. I went into this experience aware that there was a lot I didn't know about what to expect, but I felt confident having Jessica by my side. Labor was long in my case--Jessica was at the hospital with us for 18 tireless hours. Throughout, she was helping move me physically to get my stubborn guy to flip around into a better birthing position; she was researching the best positions to try given our changing circumstances; and she was a tremendous emotional and moral support when I felt exhausted and overwhelmed at various points. I really feel like my labor would have taken a lot longer, and maybe not have resulted in a vaginal birth, without her constant help. The nurses and doctors at the hospital were all so impressed with her that they ended up taking down her information for future clients. She also gave us lots of great tips during the postpartum visit. We were so blessed to have her!

Jessica was absolutely amazing from our early check in's through my labor and delivery. If you want an experienced doula who is an excellent advocate when needed and also a super knowledgeable support person - Jessica is your person! After my delivery my husband said he didn't know how we would have done it without Jessica and I felt the same. Truly can't say enough good things about her!!

I highly recommend Jessica. She was our labor and postpartum doula and provided excellent support throughout my pregnancy, labor, and my c-section recovery. As first time parents, it was important to find someone who was knowledgeable but also calming to help ease our anxieties. She helped me feel empowered to be comfortable with passing my due date and while I ultimately ended up with a c-section following my induction, she helped us think through our options and make an informed decision. Following delivery she also provided helpful support for breastfeeding/pumping and understanding how to build my supply (and also helped me organize my milk!). Lastly, she made my husband feel empowered and supportive by including him and making sure that he felt very much a parf of the process and my recovery.

I hired Jessica as my doula early in my pregnancy, if I recall it was early in my second trimester. It was important to me to have a long term relationship with my doula leading up to the birth so I felt completely comfortable with them in the birthing room. I expressed this to Jessica and she was completely on board! Throughout my pregnancy, we checked in every doctors visit and discussed what was said. She always provided great recommendations when I asked on what has helped her or pass clients whenever something arose I had a question on. My favorite thing about Jessica that initial attracted me to her was her emphasis on education. When she came to my house to practice pain coping techniques with my husband and I was so pleased! Not only that but all her resources helped me through the labor process at home, before moving to the hospital. Fast forward to the day I go into labor-- I called Jessica to let her know my water broke but I took her advice to not rush to hospital. Using her materials, I labored at home for about two hours before going to the hospital. I kept her updated on the whole process when I got to the hospital. When she did arrive, she checked in on my symptoms, used some lovely essential oils and was right at my bedside while I labored. When transition hit, she was key in keeping me strong and sane as I was sure I couldn't go anymore- this extended to when I needed to push, hearing her voice was so helpful in encouraging me to keep going. Before she left, she helped me latch my baby and baby latched great!

I can't recommend Jessica enough! I loved having her as my doula , she was a pivotal support person at my birth!

Jessica was so helpful and kind. We hit it off and I knew I wanted to work with her and have her guide me though this process. She shared her own experience and was understanding of mine as an IVF patient. She offered alot of guidance and when I was experiencing blood pressure issues offered recommendations to navigate it. After my delivery she came to my home to meet with me and my husband and we learned so much. Jessica is a knowledgeable and understanding doula. We loved working with her!

My experience with Jessica as my doula was amazing! She is very knowledgeable and professional about her work. When I inquired I knew after our conversation I wanted to sign up right away. She was very personable and she answered all of my questions with no problem. Her website was very professional as well. Jessica stepped in and has been the best support person through my pregnancy and postpartum journey. She advocated for me during my birth and postpartum experience. With having a high risk pregnancy and a preterm baby and being a first time mom with her help I am more confident and knowledgeable in my motherhood journey. With Jessica as my doula she created a safe and calm space for me. I highly recommend Jessica for your doula services she will answer your calls promptly, you will receive the support you need, she will advocate for you, she provides feedback if you need it and postpartum she will assist and help with getting you settled home with your baby. The best decision I could have ever made. You will not be disappointed.

We worked with Jessica as a birth doula and postpartum (night) doula for the arrival of our second baby and we could not recommend her more. Having gone through a bout of significant postpartum anxiety following the birth of our first baby, having someone at our birth to help us advocate for ourselves as well as in the weeks following the birth was paramount to our preparation and to feeling like we had a team of support in place in case that I had the same mental health experience following this birth. I think knowing we had Jessica on our side actually helped prevent that for me and helped get us off to a great start as we became a family of four.

Our son was born about a week after his due date and Jessica helped me remain calm in those final weeks as we waited (and waited). The birth itself had a slow start but escalated quickly, and Jessica helped both of us stay calm, and she helped to make sure we got what we needed (and what I wanted) for our birth.

Once we got home from the hospital, Jessica started coming multiple nights a week for about two months. This was a huge help as my husband and I went from having one toddler to having a toddler and an infant; her support overnight meant that my husband had the energy to keep up with our three-year-old and that I was actually able to sleep in longer stretches while Jessica held the baby overnight. While she of course has extensive knowledge as a doula, knowing also that Jessica is a mother and has been through birth and healing herself gives her an amazing perspective on the process, and made me feel comfortable confiding in her about both my physical and emotional state. I truly believe that having her with us contributed to a better mental health status for me following this birth. She became a crucial part of our family puzzle in the months leading up to and following the arrival of our baby, and we feel so lucky to know her and to have had the opportunity to work with her.

If you happen to scroll down to the comments to see how Jessica treats her clients, you're actually reading a good one. I was that same person a few months ago. I posted on a Facebook group if someone knew about a Doula and she wrote me about her services. Months later I started with a meet up and automatically felt a really good connection with her (something really important between the mom to be and doula). She made me feel comfortable in a way that I could express my concerns and worries and she answered to them as soon as possible. She was very patient and understanding, a quality that distingues her from the rest. She was very communicative and assisted me. We met in my house to go over comfort positions for hubby and I and showed us a lot of tips to use while at home and in the hospital since I was going to be only with my husband. When labor came she helped me so much through the pain. She would ask me through the process how I felt, what I needed and that made me feel at ease and safe. I knew she was there when pain hit and it was better with her. Jessica helped me with my kiddos as well, she checked up on them and also supported my family while I was in the hospital. I cannot express so much gratitude in a message. Jessica is an amazing and beautiful human being. She will provide you with the comfort and peace you will need during the hard process of labor. Jessica is your girl... Start the journey with the correct person by your side.

Our experience with Jessica Johnson was outstanding! This was our first time expecting as new parents and Jessica made sure we were fully knowledgable and equipped heading into the hospital for the big day. The prenatal appointments she provided helped us prepare a birth plan & helped us practice different positions that we could do during labor to help alleviate any discomfort. As someone who was new to giving birth I thought the birth plan that I wanted to create would have been straight forward, one way, plan A - luckily Jessica made sure I had a plan B and C just in case, and thank God because things quickly changed while in labor at the hospital. My baby was “sunny side” up and I labored mostly through my back which felt extremely painful (insert video of non-stop vomiting here). I literally went into the hospital with the plan of having a vaginal unmedicated birth BUT ended up getting an epidural - and Jess let me know that everything would be alright. Jessica was there to answer any and all questions I had, she was there to help comfort me on decisions I wasn’t sure about, she advocated for me when needed, and she helped me push my beautiful baby boy out. She also captured some great moments (pictures) during the delivery of our little one. Jess even assisted with our first latch. We are eternally grateful to Jessica and all she has done for our family! When she told us congratulations we told her congrats as well because as much as she helped us through this process, this was her baby too!

Jessica was an asset during my labor and delivery. Her knowledge and expertise helped tremendously in helping both myself and my partner stay calm during some stressful moments. Jessica was able to offer some relief after a long night and helped give my partner the tools to help me feel comfortable while in labor. When unforeseen challenges arose, Jessica stepped in to help remind me of breathing techniques, positive thinking, and words of encouragement. I trusted her to help guide me through the process and I placed my trust in the right hands! With Jessica's efforts we were able to have a beautiful, healthy baby girl. I also felt better emotionally and physically from the help she provided. The hospital staff even commented that they should hire her full time too! I would highly recommend Jessica as a doula for anyone!

Jessica was a great labor & delivery doula. She supported us with laboring at home for several hours, she traveled to the hospital and stayed until after delivery, she used comfort techniques at the hospital to help prepare for delivery, and she assisted the nurses with delivery. Her support was invaluable and it made a huge difference having a knowledgeable advocate there with this being our first child.

Jessica has such positive and calming energy. This was my first delivery and we felt supported by Jessica through the pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum periods. I appreciated the tools and resources shared in preparation for birth, and that this included both physical and mental aspects. I had strong preferences related to my birth and worries about whether they would be honored by OB/hospital. Jessica played an important role in building my confidence about advocating for those preferences and understanding options/alternatives. Jessica's support during labor was wonderful, and when the hospital 'misplaced' my placenta, Jessica championed locating it and getting it back! I also credit her placenta encapsulation to helping ease the post-partum healin period. Jessica was instrusmental in helping me have a positive birth experience.

This was my first pregnancy and having my first baby during a pandemic was kind of stressful. Having Jessica as a doula made me feel a lot better about  this journey during the pandemic. Jessica has a great personality and is easy to talk to. She was very helpful and knowledgeable. She made sure I knew all my options when it came to my pregnancy journey and how I wanted my birth experience to be. Not only is she very supportive during your pregnancy, she offers postpartum help. I really appreciated her being there to help me through my pregnancy journey!

I'm a first time mom and my experience with Jess was absolutely fantastic. At about 20 weeks we realized that we may want to attempt a more "natural" birth experience at the hospital...meaning, attempting to go for a low intervention, epidural-free birth. My OBs weren't 100% aligned with my wishes, and I knew that having a doula would be a great way to stick to our plan even in the face of potential disagreements with my doctors.

I was introduced to Jess and immediately was taken by her relaxed and present demeanor. She listened to everything I had to say and was open to my birth plan and possible changes that may have needed to occur. My partner and I knew after that first call that she was exactly the calming and soothing person we wanted to have with us throughout the birthing process. Throughout the next few weeks Jess provided us with multiple resources that were hugely helpful, and was also able to help calm me down after doctor's appointments.

Where Jess really shined was during the actual birth. We could not have done it without her! She was hugely comforting (she performed a lot of comfort measures during labor and provided me with different ways to help relieve my pain), gave us much needed guidance and reassurance, and was exactly the person that we needed to get me through labor and the birth. Even in the hospital setting with lots of distractions (and discomforts), Jess was completely tuned in to me and helped me achieve exactly the birth that I wanted.

I'd highly recommend Jess and can't wait to work with her again :)

Jess was our doula for both kids deliveries and if we have another one she will be there too! She is very knowledgeable about everything pregnancy, labor, delivery, and postpartum. I appreciated the amazing pointers for easing pregnancy pain and helping to turn a breech baby. During pregnancy she gave me a lot of resources that helped me prepare for baby #2. During labor she helped keep me as comfortable as possible, and gave me tips and choices for managing the contractions. She helped a lot when needing to make decisions about different medical procedures. I completely trust her and cannot recommend her enough to everyone!

We cannot say enough great things about our experience with Jessica during our most recent pregnancy. Without her, I wouldn't have been able to achieve my VBAC with my second child.

What I appreciate most about Jessica is her ability to empower her clients to make the best decision for their own personal pregnancy journey. She provided tons of information on topics specific to what I was experiencing and coached me through when I felt unsure or doubted myself. I am so glad we made the choice to receive doula services and would highly recommend Jessica!

Jessica made my birthing experience truly unforgettable and I believe she made all the difference in making sure I got what I said I wanted in my birth plan. My birth certainly didn't go as planned as I went into preterm labor at 34 weeks but she stepped in to help me do all I could to make it to 37 weeks and keep things as close to my birth plan as possible. She checked in on me when I was struggling through prodromal labor, and she made sure my husband and I were equipped to go through an unmedicated birth. I learned so much about the birthing process through the resources she sent me leading up to the birth. When it came time for me to actual give birth, she helped us navigate the doctors questions and translated things when needed and reassured me when I doubted myself. In short, she did everything I wanted a doula for and more. I will definitely be using her for my next birth.

Jessica is literally the best!! She guided me through the entire process and when things were rough on my end she stayed calm with me and this let me know that she loves what she does. Her knowledge and expertise is top tier. She literally taught my family how to be the best at their roles during the birth. My family loved her and we couldn't be more appreciative of everything she brought to the experience. The birth of my only son will be the most memorable and best birthing experience I've ever had. Doulas are Dope ;') especially this one.

My first birth was very traumatic and resulted in an unplanned c-section. I was determined to have a doula to support me with a vaginal birth after cesarean (VBAC) for my second child.
Jessica kept me moving and worked hard to help me accomplish my goals. Although I ended up with an emergency c-section, I know I only got as far as I did because I had a birth doula present. I felt supported all through pregnancy. In addition, she was very supportive during the postpartum period. As difficult as the delivery was for my second, having a doula helped me feel more supported which was what I needed. Jessica was very resourceful in getting me all the information I needed postpartum. Thank you so much Jessica ??

Jessica was an amazing Doula. Very supportive and informative. Even though my birth plan didn't go as planned she made me comfortable with my situation. She was also a great advocate for me while in the hospital while I was laboring. I definitely recommend her services.

The first time I met Jessica was the day of labor (My doula had an emergency). It was an instant connection and Jessica jumped right in as in if we were working together throughout my entire pregnancy.

Right before Jessica walked into the room (she had to wait until I was admitted due to strict hospital Covid polices), I started saying I can’t do this and I lost hope in having an all natural birth. I lost all control. Jessica gathered my emotions, helped me realign my focus and most importantly helped me feel empowered. She blocked the noises from nurses who kept trying to break my focus. She guided me through questions that needed to be answered for the doctor, without telling me what to do. Jessica worked well with my husband throughout my labor.

What really touched me is when Jessica came over to drop off my placenta pills. I thought this would of been a quick visit because she was not my original doula. In the 45 minutes spent, I felt safe crying with her due to breastfeeding struggles. Jessica stressed the importance of making sure that I am okay emotionally so that cam care for my baby.  She reminded me that both baby and I are still learning and take it one day at a time. Jessica showed me a different way to get my baby to latch and even though it took almost 4 days my little one finally latched on successfully!!

You will not regret having Jessica by your side through an important life changing journey. She is definitely heaven sent!

After searching and interviewing a few doulas over a one month period, I met Jessica through DoulaMatch.net.  Jessica is a kind and genuine person and helped ease my fears as a first time mom-to-be.  She attended my OB appointment and provided stretching exercises weekly in preparation for childbirth.  She stayed by my side at the hospital once I went into labor until 2 days later when I finally delivered.  During the birthing process she made sure I understood everything that was going on and that it was aligned as closely to my birth plan as possible.  Once I released from the hospital, she came over and ensured I was recovering well and offered to watch the baby to give me a break to take a nap or relax for a few moments.  She also delivered my placenta pills and provided me with a very creative print of my placenta.  Jessica and I still keep in touch and she has become a close friend of my family.

I found Jessica at the last minute, literally the week I was to have a planned C-section. A friend encouraged me to seek the help of a doula, so I did. Jessica was a blessing to work with. She is responsive, respectful, dependable and professional. She created a beautiful cord keepsake with my son's cord and took really awesome pictures of my placenta. She encapsulated my placenta and put the capsules in the cutest jar. I received the capsules the day I was released from the hospital. She was also very helpful with teaching proper breastfeeding technique, among other things. I could not have been luckier. She was a blessing to our family.

I am so thankful that I decided to have a doula for my second birth! Jessica was a great asset to have with me doing the last part of my pregnancy. She helped my husband and I prepare for labor and birth and gave us tools we actually used. When it came to labor, she physically helped take some of the intensity away of the contractions and was a calming presence. She was very vocal at the hospital and I felt like she was a great advocate for me. Jessica was very understanding of where I was and what I needed during our time together. I'd recommend her services to those in need. Thanks again Jessica!

Jessica did an amazing job encapsulating my placenta. I went into labor and without much notice Jessica was at the hospital to properly transport my placenta for the encapsulation and tincture. Jessica is very kind and sweet. Jessica was very professional and was very polite. I wish I had known about her services for the birth of my now 16 month old as I would have hired her to care for my placenta at that time as well. I know exactly who to call and refer family and friends to in the future for both Doula and placenta encapsulation services. Thanks again Jessica!

Jessica is truly a gem. She was a great support system during my pregnancy and put my mind at ease whenever I experienced different symptoms I wasn't familiar with. She made sure that I was comfortable during my labor/delivery and that my room was a calming environment. Post-natal she supported my breast feeding efforts and educated me on different feeding positions as well as tools to make the experience easier. All in all she was a wonderful support system and I look forward to utilizing her services in the future.
