Letita was our postpartum doula from the time our baby was a newborn until he was almost 7 months old.
When I say we trust her implicitly with the safety of our son, I mean it. I was diagnosed with a heart condition after my child's birth that required whoever we hired to have to wear an n95 mask for the duration of their shift to ensure the health of our child and also myself - Letitia did not hesitate and never removed her mask, until my heart condition resolved.
When Letitia was in our home, our son was cared for and his needs were met, while we were able to get some much needed sleep. She was always kind and loving while providing him the care he needed during the very late evening and early morning hours. She followed safe sleep practices for infants/babies, which was incredibly important to us. 
Letitia has become like family to us, our children adore her and so do we. I cannot recommend her enough. 
Had I known her prior to my postpartum I would not have hestitated to hire her as my doula to support me during my pregnancies.

After a stressful and difficult birth of our first child, we decided to have a doula attend our VBAC birth for our 2nd. We wanted someone who could help us communicate with hospital staff and help us stick to our birth plan and advocate for us when we needed it. Letitia was the first doula we connected with online and from the get-go, her friendly, non-judgemental and kind nature put us at ease. We knew right away that she was the right choice for us. 

For the rest of my pregnancy, she was there to reassure me in any of my worries by having resources on hand and positive affirmations. She was a huge support to lean on and talk to about anything that I needed. She was always quick to respond to emails/messages, whether for advice or just emotional support. 

During our very long labor process she was on the ball the whole time with helping me stay calm and comfortable, while always having advice on what to do in every moment to help labor progress, for relaxation/pain relief, etc. We don't know if our birth experience would have been nearly as successful and joyful without her support, skill and knowledge. We couldn't have found a better fit for us and we are so lucky to have had Letitia support us on our journey.

Letitia was amazing. I left it to the last minute to find a doula as I wasn't sure if I 'needed' one. In the end, I decided I did want a doula, mainly to help and guide my husband in supporting me during labour. I was 37 weeks and of course went into early labour at 38. Letitia was super flexible, and considering we didn't have much time to get to know each other, she ensured she understood all of my preferences and wishes for labour in a very short timeframe. She was great and I highly recommend her! She even went and grabbed me the hot chocolate I had been craving!

I would highly recommend Letitia's doula services to anyone I  know! She's very personable, knowledgeable and caring. She has a huge love for what she does and it shows. I had a very long and difficult first delivery and Letitia was there for it all and came prepared with a lot of tools and tricks! She likes to call her bag her "Mary Poppins" bag and has endless information on anything you might need information on before and after birth as well. Thanks Letitia for being so amazing and such a huge help to both me and my husband!

Letitia has been a true gem to our family for both pre and post partum doula services! We were so lucky to have her to support our growing family of four in so many ways. Letitia was always such a professional and we felt cared for and supported during this transition time. She provided guidance with her knowledge about all areas of pregnancy, birth & post partum. She was flexible with our requests and would always follow up with emails to questions we had after visits. In addition, she provided various resources e.g., books, breastfeeding workshops. Letitta would provide regular check-ins to see how we were all doing in the family - myself, husband and son. She was such a huge help post partum in particular. She supported us with household duties, making snacks and childcare for my 2.5 year old son. My son loved playing with her while I could focus on breastfeeding. Letitia was such a valuable member of our team of professionals. I could really tell she cared about us with her kind, caring and fun-loving personality. I can confidently recommended Letitia to any family. Thank you so much, Letitia!

My experience with Letitia was absolutely spectacular. She is such a dream to work with. When I met her she was very friendly, bubbly and above all professional. She carefully listen to needs and wants and made note of it as well as discussed with me how we can arrive to have a smooth and pleasant birth. Seeing as I was a VBAC (vaginal birth after caesarean) candidate, I wasn't sure what questions I needed to ask my healthcare provider. Nor did I know how to voice my opinion about wanting a VBAC in the first place. Letitia help me with all of these things. She provided me with peer-reviewed studies and research that would help me better understand what a VBAC was and how to successfully achieve. And even though anything can happen during labour and delivery I wanted to set myself up for succes regardless of what my delivery would look like. She was always available to answer any questions I had and is quick about it. In the end I got my VBAC and it was a quick and smooth labour/delivery. I honestly couldn't have done it without Letitia and my medical team's support. Her expertise, kind and caring nature set me up for success and gave me the confidence to voice what I wanted whilst being knowledgeable and informed. If I am fortunate to have another baby I will definitely hire her without hesitation. 
Thank you very much Letitia for everything and I hope to add you to my life long friends and professionals.

Leticia was my doula for my second birth. I immediately found her easy to talk to and well organized. She is very responsive to texts, calls and emails. She is punctual and well prepared for meet ups. 
In a strange turn of events my husband came down with Covid 4 days before I went into labour. Since my daughter and I kept testing negative he was isolating in the basement and he could not come to the hospital with me. Leticia was supportive leading up the birth. For a day or 2 I was shaken, she was comforting and responsive to my concerns and very reassuring. When labour started she came right away when I needed her and was quick too. She wheeled me up to labour and delivery and held my hand, helped me drink, did anything I needed including paying for parking, while I dealt with the unmedicated birth of an almost 10 lbs baby. After baby was born my placenta did not deliver and needed to be manually removed. Leticia again was by my side for what is a very unpleasant procedure. She waited with me while they took the baby to nicu, wrapped everything up with me which was at least a few hours then she came back to my room and ate with me and kept me company for a while since I was there alone. It was almost midnight before she left and only because I was ready to sleep. 
Leticia went above and beyond for my family and I am so grateful to her.

I cannot recommend Letitia highly enough. She is extremely approachable, easy and comfortable to talk to, and very supportive of her clients' birth wishes. In my case, I had planned an unmedicated birth and ended up needing more interventions than I wanted. I had been labouring for 20 hours already (Letitia literally by my side for the entire time) when the decision was made to use an epidural. I interpreted this as an indication that I was failing - failing at birthing my baby, and therefore failing at motherhood in general. Letitia talked me down by reminding me that my body was still powerful, capable, and strong - the most important thing was to get the baby out safely, and any thoughts I had about my own failings were just thoughts. Because of the epidural, I went on to need other interventions and ended up experiencing quite a traumatic birth. Letitia coached me through breathing, focusing, and staying grounded when my daughter finally made her appearance after 30-odd hours of labour. While I was recovering from the birth, I found myself reliving aspects of the birth and feeling retraumatized again and again. As if she knew that this was what I was experiencing (even though I didn't mention it to her), Letitia emailed me photos she had taken in the delivery room of me meeting my daughter for the first time. I cannot begin to express the immense relief I felt at seeing these pictures. What I had remembered as an event of personal failing and acute pain was in fact a joyful, beatiful event - beauty and joy that I wouldn't have seen had she not held them out for me when I needed them most. It continues to astound me that in Canada, a country that rightly prides itself on its socialized medical system, doulas are not the standard of care for all pregnant and labouring people. The gift Letitia gave should be available to everyone!

Being a proactive and organized person, I anticipated the need to have a doula by my side during my labor given the current pandemic and limited support. My experience with Letitia was positive from the moment we had our first conversation via a phone call. She was very warm, easy going and calm on the phone - exactly what I was looking for in a doula! She put me at ease knowing that I would have the support and care I needed during the trying moments of labor. She was very informative and provided helpful advice and tips to prep me for the big day.

The day of, she was available as soon as I contacted her. She was by my side throughout the labor assisting me with breathing exercises and relaxation techniques. I ended up having a c section due to unforeseen complications but Letitia helped me prep for the surgery and stayed by my side all the way till my baby girl finally came into this world. I would highly recommend her as she is not only well informed but also a genuinely positive and caring person. Definitely the kind of energy you need around the birth of your first born.

Letitia was an incredible doula. She was knowledgeable about what to expect as expecting parents, and she also approaced our sessions with care and compassion, which was appreciated as we had so many questions that I'm sure she's had to answer a hundred times previously. She advised us on some birthing techniques that we used during the labour which helped us immensley. She is definitely someone who cares about the well being of new parents and their child.

My experience with Letitia was absolutely wonderful! She was so helpful, and right there with a massage and encouragement when needed. She helped my husband stay calm which, in turn, helped me. I know that things turned out better for both me and my husband just because Letitia was there. Because she was there, my husband was able to focus on taking care of me and not having to try to remember all the details of everything. I will be recommending Letitia to anyone considering a doula!

Firstly to begin with Letitia impressed our family (yes,me my hubby and my 2 year old girl too) the very first time we met...she is super friendly and not fake at all..I still remember I was so hesitant hiring a doula and was 50 50 as to whether I really need her amidst all the doctors and nurses that will be available at the hospital..but I am glad we proceeded with Letitia as my birth doula and I am not exaggerating but she was more supportive than any other person could have been during the birth process..I still remember when I was about to give up pushing due to unbearable pain..she said 'it's going to be over soon imagine your baby's face that you are going to see in sometime and you are going to forget everything..' she is a must for every pregnant lady I would say...she is best and she is the loveliest...love and prayers from our family to dear letitia always :)
