Solenn was the best decision we made during my pregnancy. We hired her as a birth doula. I was amazed by Solenn's credentials and understanding how she would support me. She's knowledgeable, informed, kind and understanding and flexible with your needs, fears and viewpoints. Solenn has the biggest heart. She responds quickly and is very attentive.

As a birth doula,Solenn helped me advocate for myself during my delivery. She helped me write my birth plan she also creates a birth timeline and takes birth photos with your permission. She made my delivery a magical and wonderful experience and alleviated so many of my fears. She also made sure my husband felt included and supported. We highly recommended her to anyone who needs support, knowledge and an advocate through the process of giving birth.

Solenn was a life  giving and valuable support to me during my pregnancy and birth of my son.  I wanted a home birth and I was interested in using alternative methods for pain control during labor.  I was unable to have a home birth because of financial reasons and Solenn helped me achieve a birthing experience using alternative pain control in the hospital.

We discussed at length my concerns for birthing in a hospital and what I wanted to try to plan for in my birthing experience.  She listened and supported my voice.  Solenn shared her experience and knowledge and I was able to make a more informed decision about what was best for me, my body, and my baby.

From the beginning she was available to me whenever I had questions and she offered numerous resources to me to prepare me for childbirth and postpartum such as books, videos, articles on a particular subjects, and referrals to mommy groups and breastfeeding support.  I had a lengthy labor and Solenn was there to help me through it.

Solenn's kind and giving spirit made it easy to talk to her about whatever was on my mind and now that my son is here and healthy I know I can still reach out to her during this 4th trimester.

During the first few days post partum, breastfeeding was challenging and so I started to pump my breast milk.  I spoke with Solenn how discouraged I was that I was not breastfeeding and she shared her experience and knowledge and it empowered me to try breastfeeding again.  I am so glad I did and I got to have this bonding experience with my son and I continue to breastfeed and love it.  Solenn is committed to women of all different walks of life.  She supported my healing and passageway to becoming a mother and honored the process of life and the birth of my son.  I am forever grateful to her and my experience with her as my doula.

There are not enough words to describe my experience with Solenn. She is generous, patient, smart and passionate.

First, I should mention that getting a doula was essential, as I was attempting to do a VBAC after a traumatic first birth that had happened only 16 months before my second one.

I was Solenn's first client and my first contact with her was over the phone. Her words of encouragement and support from this  conversation already made me confident that I had picked the perfect person! I then met Solenn in person and she had already prepared exercises to get me ready for my big challenge.

My birth (as all births) was not at all what we had expected! My son arrived 18 days earlier. Solenn texted me the whole first half of labor, when I was not even sure myself if I was going to deliver. She never let her phone down and was there with me for half the night until we both decided that it was time for her to come and help me. When she arrived, I was in full labor and she helped me manage though the pain, the worry, the stress, and the chaos of everything. She was everything that I could not be, she was my mental and physical strength. She had the words to help me though the pain of labor, and never once was I scared because she was on my side. I arrived at the hospital almost ready to deliver and once again, Solenn was there to inform me on the best decisions to make for me and my baby. Not once did she challenge the words of the nurse or the doctor, but she was there to give me additional informations that I may not have known otherwise. She was able to make me do what I thought was impossible! Even after the birth, Solenn made sure that I was feeling well and went way beyond her responsabilities.

Solenn is a doula because she truly cares about helping women, she does not treat her practice as a business but as a philosophy. She is an amazing doula and anyone should feel extremely lucky to have her on their side.

I can’t empathize enough how much Solenn’s help has saved me! I am a new mom without a network or “village” and reaching out for postpartum assistance wasn’t something I anticipated needing to do before I had my son. By the time he was 2 months old, I was very overwhelmed and wasn’t organized or on top of things. I was struggling to breastfeed and I wasn’t sleeping. Solenn was so kind and listened to me and understood where I needed the most help. She was able to work with my budget and I have had her help several times a week for the last 3 months. I can’t imagine where I’d be without her. She has helped me gain so much confidence. I am now exclusively breastfeeding and my baby and I are both sleeping through the night! I have Solenn to thank for my sanity and a happy baby! I truly consider her a friend and my son loves her and lights up every time he sees her. I’m so grateful I found her ??

We highly recommend her!
