Fee Details: I am just starting out my doula business here, but I worked as a doula, midwifery assistance and perinatal psychologist in my homeland. Fee includes 1-3 prenatal visits,continuous support during labor and approximately 2 hours postpartum , one postpartum visit. Additional postpartum visit $30 I'm a student of The Nafsa Project School based on traditional Moroccan postpartum medicine care. To complete the course I have to serve one mother for free. I have had 2 home births and the first one was just with a midwife and my husband. It was 25 hours long, horribly painful and I thought "never again!". But 6 years later we still decided to go for abother baby but this time I was more prepared, so I hired a doula along with a midwife.
I am so glad that doula was Ekaterina!!! Not only she came as soon as I called her (1:30 AM when my water broke), she was with me the entire time during and after the labor supporting, massaging, encouraging, not leaving me for a second. I simply dont know how I would have survived one contraction without her strong hands. It all had helped so much!! My labor was also much shorter this time- 5.5 hours, but thats due to experience (my own and my amazing borthing team that told me exactly what to do, how to move etc) and the nature of the second birth I guess.
I gave birth to a healthy beautiful baby girl (while squeezing Elaterina's hands which was sooooo helpful!) however my baby's shoulders were rather wide and I myself had complications and had to go to the hospital. Ekaterina was there for me, she had helped so much I cant thank her enough.
If you are loooking for a knowledgable and experineced doula, Ekaterina Nawaz is your choice! I have been incredibly happy with her and would recommend her in a heart beat.
