After having a less than ideal birth with our first with the unfortunate cascade of interventions, I knew I wanted something different for our second.
While educating ourselves on our options, a friend referred us to Morgan. Morgan was so supportive, understanding, educational and approachable. She heard our concerns and our wishes and was our advocate at the hospital when I went into labor. The birthing environment was peaceful, quiet and so supportive. From keeping the lights low, to bringing essential oils and electric votive candles, it was such a relaxing environment.
With the support received, I was able to birth our healthy second baby on my own without intervention at 40w+4d.

Our experience with Morgan was beyond our expectations. Morgan was knowledgeable, experienced, helpful, and kind.  At 7 months pregnant, I had to find a new OBGYN.  Morgan served as a sounding board and provided feedback on the many providers she has worked with to help find the best fit for me.  She supported and made me feel confident about my decisions throughout the process.  As a first time mom, I was comforted by her wealth of knowledge and experience.  When being induced, I reached out to hear via text throughout the night. She replied in record time with feedback on pain management, positioning, and more.  Once we were ready for Morgan to join us in the hospital, she immediately created a calm and comforting environment - we knew we were in good hands.  During labor, the baby's heartbeat started to decrease with contractions.  The medical team presented us with an optional C-Section or wait 15 minutes to see if we could get the problem to resolve on its own before having to get the baby out.  With Morgan's knowledge of spinning babies she quickly jumped in with ideas on how to position myself (with an epidural) to get the baby in a better position and it worked!  We're confident Morgan was crucial in preventing an emergency C-Section.  When it was time to push, Morgan once again was right there given support, advice, and comfort.  She also captured the most special photos of the process.  Our baby had a rough arrival and needed some additional medical support. Morgan was very comforting throughout the process as the medical team took care of our new baby girl.  Even after we came home from the hospital, Morgan continued to provide support as we transitioned to parenthood and helped with breastfeeding advice.  Even my skeptical husband said it was the best money we spent!! We are so incredibly grateful for the experience we had with Morgan.

From the perspective of a first time father:

A first experience for me, and I do not work in healthcare, so this was a foreign situation for me.  I didn’t know what to do or how to act and having her there was very helpful because she knew exactly what she was doing and that made me calm down and she empowered me with things I could do to be helpful.  She is a very experienced professional. Without her, I wouldn’t have known what to do.  Instead of feeling anxious and overwhelmed, like I wanted to pass out, I felt better and more calm making it a more positive experience for me and my partner.

I work in healthcare, in anesthesia, and I feel that in the majority of uncomplicated births, having the right doula may be more influential to your birth experience than your epidural plans.  Morgan was amazing and helped shape my birth experience for not only me, but my significant other as well.  Even before I arrived at the hospital, she gave advice on specific interventions that are overlooked by our conventional maternal healthcare. She was there for me the whole time, advocating for me.  As contractions got more intense she knew right where to apply therapeutic touch and she knew instinctively when the contraction was happening- I didn’t have to ask her.  We tried different positions which were amazingly effective in progressing the delivery and helping move things along.  Staff at the hospital have other responsibilities of their job (for instance retrieving equipment or documentation) that preclude them from uninterrupted hands-on focus on you and your partner.  She worked well with hospital staff who later complemented her services.  She took pictures and short videos of the experience which were impressively skilled at maintaining my privacy.  She was helpful before delivery with pregnancy questions from tips on good mom to mom sales or recommended learning resources, during delivery, and postpartum with a much appreciated home visit to make sure all is going well and answer any questions I might have.

I highly recommend her and will use her again for any future births I may have.

After having a c-section with my first baby due to breech, I wanted to set myself up for the best chance of having a VBAC. My doctor seemed VBAC friendly, but I knew having a doula would only increase my chances. Morgan was highly recommended by a friend and now I know why! Not only the sweetest person, she is a wealth of knowledge and so helpful to have during labor to questions to when I was unsure and just too exhausted to figure out what was best. I ended up getting induced, which wasn't in my original plan along with some unforeseen bumps in the road at 38 weeks, but being able to text Morgan my thoughts and concerns was such a relief. Having her there during labor to advocate for me, her knowledge of spinning babies to help get my baby in a better position, doing hip squeezes, playing music, and just doing all the things made my VBAC an overall wonderful experience. I can't recommend her enough!

After a traumatic birth experience with my first pregnancy, I made the decision to hire a doula for my second. When I met with Morgan I immediately knew I wanted her to be a part of my birth team. Her sweet spirit made it easy to make a connection with her which made me feel at ease about inviting her into such a vulnerable space.

I hadn't fully committed to an unmedicated birth when I decided I wanted a doula, but after working with Morgan for a few short weeks I felt confident that we could accomplish it. As I started to mentally prepare myself, Morgan was so supportive and answered any questions I had as well as addressing my concerns. She made sure I knew exactly what my options were and how to advocate for myself and my birth plan.

The last few weeks leading up to delivery were extremely nerve wracking as I dealt with a lot of false labor. Knowing delivery was getting close, I began to feel increasingly nervous about delivering naturally. This was when Morgan really stepped up and gave me an overwhelming amount of support mentally and emotionally. Her experience and expertise was exactly what I needed to calm my nerves as we waited for labor to start.

In the delivery room, things moved fast and got very intense very quickly. The turn of events didn't leave much time for me and my husband to wrap our heads around it and we would've been totally lost without Morgan. Her calm energy allowed us to stay grounded in the moment and take the everything in stride. We pulled off an amazing natural birth and I’m so thankful I had her by my side for it!

Single-handedly the best money I have ever spent in my life! I would do it again in a heartbeat.

I honestly have no idea how I could have gotten through labor without Morgan. I definitely wouldn't have hit my goal of being unmedicated for it as I was signing for the epidural at the very end. Morgan knew I would have a baby within a couple more contractions but was very graceful and understanding that I felt I couldn't continue. I ended up being ready to push and turned the epidural away to have the unmedicated birth I wanted.

I had a hospital birth with a largely unsupportive hospital team. Morgan was able to help me advocate for myself and presented options I didn't know I had through the 20 hr ordeal. She was advocating before she even got to the hospital. I truly believe it was her that made all the difference in my labor experience.

She is warm, compassionate, knowledgable, and our first meeting felt like catching up with an old friend. She has continued being a amazing presence in my postpartum and an asset to my momma community. I am so happy to have her in my village and to have found her through this site.

Morgan was an asset to my achieving an unmedicated VBAC! She was so encouraging from the start of our relationship. I took the advice that she offered and I know it helped me to labor and deliver in the way that I wanted to. Morgan worked with the medical staff to ensure I was getting the type of birth that I desired. She served me unwaveringly throughout the process, from providing physical comfort measures to spooning ice into my mouth in between contractions. The room was set up with essential oils diffusing, music playing, dim lights and very minimal staff visits in an effort to serve me in the way that I discussed with her prior. I appreciated that she did some massage techniques on my legs and feet to encourage contractions to get stronger and the process to move more swiftly. She encouraged my husband's involvement and also surprised us at the end with some pictures of the birth that we are so thankful that she took.

Birth is very intimate and special time. I wanted to achieve an unmedicated VBAC from the beginning because my first birth was very tramatic and ended in a cesarean. I received many precationary comments from my doctors about the possibility of that. Morgan never doubted and only provided encouragement and advice. At the end of the day you need a doula that is there to support you during this special time of labor and birth. I am so grateful to the birth team that I had in place that allowed this labor and delivery to be healing and very special. Morgan was an essential part of that team!

Morgan was a fantastic doula. From our first meeting it was clear she understood exactly what I needed and how to provide support for my husband and I. She was my calm and  who I looked to at each stage of labor. I am so thankful for Morgan and her expertise- I can't imagine the experience without her. Morgan continued to check in post partum and make a home visit which was not expected but incredible for a first time mom.

I cannot express how grateful we are that we decided to have Morgan as our doula. She was a fierce advocate for me and our birth plan, spending hours on the phone and meeting with me in the days leading up to labor to ensure that I had the birth experience that I had dreamed of. I was 3 days overdue, so Morgan and I spent 3 hours doing different movements and positions to try and change his  posterior position to help start labor. Once contractions were regular, Morgan was at our house within the hour and helped me labor at home before we went to the hospital. She was with us all night and day, helping me. She continued to advocate for me and help communicate with theh hospital staff. Morgan helped me continue laboring all night, with different positions, acupressure, laboring in the tub, and double hip squeezes. She was there through EVERY contraction. Once I was 8 cm and was contemplating having my waters broken, Morgan helped me to decide which path to take by offering information and advice on both paths. When things became more intense, she helped me through, telling me I could do it and encouraging me. Even though there was a team of medical staff in the room, Morgans voice is the only one I can clearly remember. Her words helped me through the utter exhaustion and pain in a way I cannot explain. After he was born, even though we had all been up for over 36+ hours, Morgan ran and got us while we recovered. To top it off, she continued to reach out and check on us in the days after his birth. She even came by our house to help with nursing and to check in on our family. To this day, she reaches out to check in and listens to my concerns and offers advice as I navigate this new world of parenting. I am confident that I would not of had the birth we wanted if Morgan wasn’t there, advocating for us and helping us new parents.  I cannot sing her praises enough and we are eternally grateful for everything she has done for me and our family.

From day one, Morgan was friendly and professional.  Once a time frame was established after an initial meet and greet, she never failed to follow up with meeting dates and times. The first meeting, at 37 weeks, was extremely valuable, as Morgan offered an abundance of information that we were not aware of that we were missing. I could not have asked for a better doula to assist my partner and I in welcoming our little one. She was at the hospital before we could even make it there and was quick to make sure we were both comfortable and had what we needed. After labor, Morgan stayed (with our permission) to assist in feeding and any other concerns that she felt she could be helpful with. From day one, to even the days following our return home from the hospital, Morgan was a true blessing and I couldn't recommend her services enough. Thank you, Morgan!

Going into my second pregnancy I knew I wanted a different experience then my first. I wanted it to be more natural. I was 6 months pregnant & had just learned what a doula was. A couple weeks later I went to my first prenatal chiropractor appointment and his wife was Morgan the best doula I could have ever asked for! Our first meeting Morgan made me feel comfortable and was so kind I felt like I had known her for years. We went over my first birth pros and cons and what I wanted out of this birth experience. For the next few weeks we text time to time. Then she came over to meet my family & really lock down our birth plan. Her birthing guide allowed me and my husband to figure out what we really wanted to happen during labor and delivery. Morgan was on board for whatever we wanted & were comfortable with. We stayed in contact talking every week and my confidence was up while approaching my due date! At 39 weeks and 2 days I thought I was going into labor Morgan came over that night even though I was unsure if this was the real labor. We went for a walk and tried some things to stimulate labor. We went to bed & she slept over and in the morning went to the hospital with us. I was still in early labor and came back home. Morgan taught me some excersises to naturally induce labor and 4 days later I went into labor. Meeting me at the hospital Morgan helped make our space feel safe & comfortable. Her energy was soothing my husband was taking her lead in techniques to make me more comfortable. My husband literally said “I just wanted to start throwing money at her”. Morgan made him feel more calm knowing she was going to be there the whole time helping us along. Morgan helped me achieve want I wanted a natural birth. Afterwards she helped me learn how to get my baby to latch and the following week saw us just to do a check in and that was so reassuring. I highly recommend getting a doula if this is your first pregnancy or 5th.

Have you ever had someond understand the current season of your life and completely "get it"? That sums up my time with Morgan.
After flailing for the first couple weeks after my twins were born, my husband and I decided that we needed additional nighttime spport. We enlisted the help of Morgan as a postpartum doula several nights a week. She lovingly cared for both babies while my husband and I caught up on elusive zzz's. She rotated bringing them into me to nurse. In the morning, my laundry was magically folded (meticulously, I might add) and my kitchen and living room was neatly organized. It was such a fresh start to a new day and was just what we needed to stay afloat.
I valued the time Morgan was with us and she became a saving grace in my postpartum world. Navigating twins and becoming a mom of four kids rocked our world in those early days and weeks. One of the best decisions we made was hiring a caring doula into our support system. Thank you, Morgan!

Morgan! Efficant, loyal, organized, calm, and caring, are just a few words that come to mind when describing her. After having a c section and my husband leaving town for work, I knew I needed some night time help with my new born and 1 1/2 year old. Morgan came in and immediately made me comfortable knowing I could sleep and my newborn was in her care. Easy conversation made for good company as the topping on the cake.. Morgan is highly recommended in our books.

Morgan was so great throughout my pregnancy and delivery. I had prodromal labor for weeks and several false alarms. Through it all, Morgan was encouraging and available. When it was finally baby time, Morgan arrived quickly and immediately jumped into action. She got set up in the room with a diffuser and a peanut ball all between contractions. Morgan was as hands on as I wanted, providing hip squeezes and low back massages. She was a great support for myself and my husband. She offered position tips, even while I was in the tub, to help Baby get in the right position. Morgan provided additional physical and emotional support during pushing and the birth. She was truly a huge help and support for my first unmedicated birth. Even in the postpartum phase she has offered advice and support. Morgan's strength and sweet spirit are amazing and I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Morgan was amazing and helped me to achieve a natural unmedicated intervention free birth. She was supportive and encouraging and compassionate. We used hip squeezes, lower back massage, peaceful music, and the bathtub for pain management. My labor and delivery was fast but I would not have been able to do it without her by my side. It was a beautiful birth and I would do it the same way all over again!

When I was expecting my third child I had an idea of how my labor would go. I had a “plan”. My plan was to get an epidural and I never thought I would need a doula. Thankfully things worked out to have Morgan as my doula. When I started going into labor, things weren’t progressing enough to be admitted. Morgan was there by my side, helping me walk the halls at the hospital and use the birthing ball. I didn’t want to be sent back home. I’m so thankful she was there to help things move along. I am positive I would have been sent home if it wasn’t for her support! She was amazing and totally changed my mind about having a doula even with an epidural!

I had the pleasure of having Morgan as my Doula with my third babe. She was very sweet and has a beautiful heart. I loved having her with me to help me througg some of the tough areas in my pregnancy. In labor and delivery she helped to encourage me and reminded me of all my options that I didn’t know I had. I was able to have my babe with no drugs, which Is what I wanted. Morgan was such a help throughout the whole pregnancy and delivery. I am so glad I chose to get a Doula & am so blessed to have met her.
