I wish every mommy-to-be could have Patti as their doula because of how positive she made my entire birth experience. She shared her favorite books, videos, knowledge and experience with me and prepared me emotionally throughout my pregnancy. Her guidance helped me create my ideal birth plan simplifying what can be an otherwise overwhelming amount of choices and considerations for a first-time mom. As soon as she arrived, her presence was so calming alleviating any fears and anxiety instantly. It felt like the pain melted away through her hands as she massaged gently or applied counter-pressure on my lower back. She was my focal point every minute of the way breathing with me through the contractions and coaching me to locate and relax any muscle tension I had. She also found birthing positions that worked best for me during contractions and her suggestions along the way made a world of difference. My 35-hour labor delivering a 9.5 lb. baby (who was sunny side up prior to finally rotating towards the end of the labor) could have easily turned into a C-section but her undivided attention and communication with the nurses and doctors was essential to having a successful vaginal birth. I am so amazed at the sense of ease she gave me; she truly empowered my mind and body. She was not only an invaluable support to me but also to my husband. I can’t thank her enough for the wonderful birth experience and I hope I get the opportunity to have another labor and delivery with her in the future!

My wife and I chose to use a Doula for our first baby and it was an amazing experience! The wealth of knowledge and comfort Patti Fisher provided to my wife truly helped me understand things about my wife and the childbearing process that I did not anticipate. She was always available via text and call for any questions along the pregnancy, and met at our house when the night contractions started (11pm) and it was a 34hr labor which she stayed the entire time and was so encouraging to us both. It would have been a lot less enjoyable and uncertain at times without her guidance and experience.

When it comes times for our second child, we will most definitely be calling her again and recommending to any friends of ours that get pregnant. It is so vital to have the right doula at this intimate crossroad of our life and Doula Patti Fisher was the ideal match. Thank you!!!

Patti Fisher was an amazing doula. As a first time mother, I has so many questions, uncertainties and fears regarding the birth of my baby. I was very comforted to know that no question was a dumb question with Patti. She spent time with me before the delivery, as well as after, making sure I was confident in what I would be doing and how I would feel emotionally. The day of the birth, I had a few family members in the room with us. Patti did an amazing job at keeping me as focused and as comfortable as possible. I was very impressed that she gave everyone in the room a job during the delivery, which really made everyone feel a part of the birth. Not everything in my birth plan went as planned, but Patti was on top of it all with suggestions and coaching to let me know my next best options. Since we spoke so much before the birth, she already knew that some procedures or medications were not even an option, so it made her advice directed towards the next best path for us. She had a very caring and gentle way of helping me and always made me feel as though my thoughts and comfort was a number one priority. Patti made follow up visits to my house after we brought our baby home, which helped me so much as I was learning to breastfeed and adjust back to normal life. To sum things up, I truly believe you will have a hard time finding someone more caring about each mothers individual needs, someone with passion about helping mothers and families, and someone with more love for what she does. Patti was truly an amazing blessing. I am overall, extremely thankful I had her a part of the birth of my baby!

Patti was a reassuring and calming presence as she was our Doula for our first born child. Just settling us in at the hospital from beginning to end was an invaluable support to have, dealing with check in, nurses, doctors and providing information on our choices and best approach, all the while noting all actions down and providing comforting massages and advice. We were so grateful Patti was there with us and enjoyed all the conversations in between, thanks Patti!
