Lisa cared for our newborn overnight as a night doula a few days each week from the time she was 2 weeks old until about 11 weeks. The ability Lisa gave our family to have days to rest and recharge were invaluable. Allowing us to be able to be more present and available for both our toddler and infant throughout the newborn phase. Lisa has a gift for caring for newborns, she is gentle, intuitive and very knowledge. I knew that my baby was in great hands and could truly recharge - very few moms can say that. If I have another child, I will be calling Lisa again.

Lisa was a real life Mary Poppins for our family. She came to help us transition as a family of 4 and I wish she could stay forever! Lisa filled many roles in her time with us - a fantastic chef, baby cuddler, toddler playmate, and an empathetic listener. Lisa understands the vulnerable postpartum stage and she kindly serves her clients. I would absolutely recommend her, especially for first time moms!

Lisa provided post partum doula services for me from the time my son was 2 weeks old until he was about 12 weeks old. Lisa communicated well, made sure my family was cared for, and made me feel safe, secure, and stress free. She is a fantastic cook, provides great advice, and is just geniunely a good / nice person. I appreciate the care she took with my home and my young children. I'd hire her again in a hearbeat.

I worked with Lisa to support our friends who live out of state with postpartum consierge meal service. She was so wonderful and easy to work with. The friends reported that every single meal was delicious and accommodated their dietary needs to make nourishment postpartum delicious and easy, so they were free to focus on their new little one. So thankful for Lisa!

I can't recommend Lisa enough...especially for parents of twins.  Lisa is very knowledgeable about babies and has a lot of twin experience, which is what I was looking for. I was totally overwhelmed at the thought of bringing home two new babies to my other two kiddos. From the first night with Lisa, I had peace of mind that Lisa was going to take excellent care of my twins, and she did! She cares for your babies like they're her own. She also provided me with excellent care, offering suggestions and listening to my concerns. Any family would be lucky to work with Lisa!

Lisa was amazing with meal preparation after the birth of our first son. We were exhausted and living off of food delivery - her home cooking was just the comfort and nourishment we needed. She was able to accommodate our dietary restrictions (gluten and dairy free) and put thought into the nutrition of each meal she cooked. I'm so thankful for her sharing her gift of cooking with our family. Each meal was beyond delicious!

Lisa was extraordinarily helpful during my first three months of having newborn twins. She advised me on various baby care concerns I had, always made me feel confident and comfortable and most of all, allowed mg husband and I to get much needed rest. To say that she was a lifesaver in the early days of new motherhood would be an understatement. I trust her implicitly and truly wouldn't have survived without her help and care. My girls adore her as do we! We extended our contract multiple times and intend to do so again. Thank you, Lisa for everything - we are so very grateful!

We were so lucky to have Lisa as our postpartum doula, giving us reprieve in the wee hours the night and supporting me in the day as I tried to find balance in the new normal of parenthood. I trusted Lisa completely to care for and love on our daughter. She was responsive without being intimidating, shared her knowledge while taking into consideration our wishes and backgrounds, and made me confident in tackling my new role. As a fun and welcome bonus, she also brainstormed meals with me, grocery shopped, and prepared us food! Without family in town, it was such a treat to feel taken care of. She also befriended our dog, who wasn't getting as much attention with a new baby. He'd watch out the window for her and excitedly await the treat she always brought him. We hope to stay in touch with Lisa as she was such an important part of this new chapter. Her kindness, warmth, and professionalism would be a gift in any household.

Lisa was such a blessing to our family.  I had postpartum preeclampsia and for Lisa's first shift I was in the hospital, while the hubby was at home juggling the kids.  We instantly felt comfortable with her in our home taking care of our little one. I'm an anxious sleeper, so am constantly up checking on the baby but when Lisa was there I had no anxiety at all. She was extremely caring and professional which allowed me to sleep through the night. We mostly had night shifts (HIGHLY recommend!) Lisa would text me a summary in the morning of how the night went, so I felt connected and informed. For the day shifts she was also super helpful! I needed a refresher on how to give baby baths and she was right there to show me how. I would absolutely use Lisa again!

Lisa was such a blessing in our lives after the birth of our second daughter! What I needed more than anything was nutritious meals. Lisa brought a lot of creativity to our kitchen, she made delicious meals with leftovers, and freezer meals for the time in between visits. If I couldn't think of a recipe I wanted her to make she was always happy to surprise me, and I was never disappointed! She was also very helpful with my newborn and toddler when I needed an extra hand. Lisa is very friendly and helpful without being invasive, which I think is a very delicate balance during those fragile postpartum weeks. We are so grateful!

For my first child, I hired Lisa as a postpartum doula and she was wonderful. At the beginning of my breastfeeding journey she was very instrumental in helping keep me fed and hydrated to help with my milk production. She would do these things without asking but knowing I hadn't eaten anything. Also, her food is Amazing! She's super calm, outgoing, positive, and reassuring. I was surprised to see how good she was with my son at first. (First-time mom probs) but I quickly saw that I could feel comfortable napping or showering while she kept an eye on him. She's been to appointments with us and has even picked up groceries for us. I would absolutely recommend her to a friend. And even use her for my second child if that happens!

Lisa is amazing and by far my favorite addition to my postpartum support / recovery this time around (just had my second baby). She was a postpartum doula providing daytime support, specifically meal planning and prepping. We had her come in once / week for six weeks and she would cook meals for our family that week. Having home-cooked meals during my recovery was a blessing and a joy, so much better than me trying to scramble and figure out a meal or having to get endless takeout. Lisa is passionate about what she does, and was such a wonderful, loving presence in our home. The meals were always delicious and I learned some new tips / tricks in the kitchen by watching her. When the postpartum period can be lonely for mom, it was nice to have her in the house to chat with if I wanted company. She also was helpful with my son (2.5 years) and newborn baby whenever I needed her to jump in with extra hands. I cannot recommend Lisa enough!

Lisa was an amazing help when having my first child. She is very personable and I was never uncomfortable in her presence. She is very easy to be with. We used her for overnight help and help during the day as well. Lisa was so kind, she allowed me to reach out to her with questions as well as soon as we signed with her, which was very helpful and much appreciated as a first time parent. Lisa even looked over our baby registry to make sure we had all of the essentials. I breastfed my baby and my husband couldn't take much leave because he hadn't been at his job for a year yet. Alex got a full nights rest when Lisa was with us. Lisa allowed me to feed my baby while she did the rest (changing, burping, soothing back to sleep) so I could get as much sleep as possible. It was also really nice to have a baby expert to talk to while I was breastfeeding. I learned a lot from Lisa while she kept me company. Lisa is also amazing with family pets. She always remembered to love on my dog Ann and gave her lots of special attention while she was in our home. During the day Lisa helped me do laundry, sort through baby clothes, and cooked lots of amazing meals for us! Lisa is an amazing cook! She also grocery shopped for us. We spaced out our night sessions and Lisa was very understanding and flexible with us. Though, I would recommend to other new mothers to use all of your sessions (or as many as you can) in the beginning because the first few weeks of waking up every 3 hours are the hardest! I would definitely recommend Lisa to anyone looking for a postpartum doula. She will take excellent care of you and your family! We are so grateful that others recommended Lisa to us. She recently won an award for being the doula of the year, and it is easy to see how she earned that distinction. Lisa helped us through some of our most vulnerable moments with kindness and grace. Thank you Lisa!

Lisa has been truly incredible to work with and we cannot have imagined our first few months as new parents without her. She is kind, loving, and incredibly knowledgeable about all things when it comes to newborn babies and we have so appreciated her support and guidance as we brought our son home. Whether it was really showing us the ropes of how to care for him, cooking us much needed home cooked meals, or just offering a lending ear to talk through what I was experiencing in my postpartum journey, Lisa was there for us every step of the way. My husband and I have said many times over that we are SO grateful for Lisa and all that she has done for us during this time. She loves what she does and you can absolutely tell. We miss her already dearly and if you're considering looking for a doula we couldn't recommend Lisa more!

If you want your baby and your family to sleep through the night, Lisa is your girl! Lisa was with us from day one to two months. Our daughter has slept from 8pm to 7am ever since! I was able to sleep through the night those first two months knowing that Lisa was watching over my newborn. Even though Lisa was just here at night, she formed a very special bond with our daughter and our family! I would have continued to extend her contact forever but Lisa told me I was ready to do it on my own! As a first time mom she gave me the confidence I needed! We could not have done the first two months without her! Lisa helped to make having a newborn really fun and so much less stressful!

I hired Lisa to prepare meals for my family postpartum, and she did an amazing job. My husband is very picky and even complimented how good her food was. She made me whatever I had an idea for and even made dietary accommodations! She was always so kind, flexible (needed with a newborn), and just a Godsend! If you hire Lisa you are in great hands!!

Lisa has been such an amazing part of our post-partum journey! She is incredible with our baby girl and so helpful with not only newborn care, but in helping around the house and with our two crazy dogs. Lisa is very nuturing and we always feel that our baby is in great hands when Lisa is there. Lisa is great at anticipating needs for both baby and us and has a such a positive attitude. We also love when she cooks for us! We can't wait to continue working with Lisa and highly recommend her!

Lisa is wonderful! I really needed guidance and help after the birth of my first child, and Lisa was there for me when I needed her! When I had a sleep-deprived breakdown, after hours and on a Sunday, I texted her and she immediately called me and gave me the advice and encouragement I needed. And she made several delicious meals for us, which was so great to not have to think about it!!

Lisa was the perfect match for our family; we already miss her.
I'm a first time mother, so I had all the questions & needed some coaching while I learned how to be a parent.
She taught me all the basic skills & was always great to talk with.

Lisa was absolutely amazing to work with! We could not have done it without her! She was with us for 3 to 4 nights a week for the last six months.  She was there the night we brought our daughter home from the hospital and was with us every step of the way till she was six months old.  Once our daughter was sleeping through the night she would cook for us a dinner that we would have to heat up the following evening.  It was amazing!! She always tidied up the kitchen so nicely too! Lisa was really easy to work with and very trustworthy and calming. We highly recommend her!!

It was wonderful to work with Lisa! We truly appreciated her kindness, flexbility and patience with our growing family. She easily pivoted to help in any and all ways we needed her, including spending time with my older son who needed some extra attention. Lisa was lovely company and so easy to work with! I would recommend her services and presence in any post-partum home!! Thank you, Lisa!

Lisa was an irreplaceable part of our initial adjustment to life with 3 kids. Although she was only with us Mondays for 5 hours, she would spend that time prepping all of our meals for the entire week. She is a wonderful cook and taught me recipes and gave me time saving tips so I can handle the mayhem going forward. In addition to her cooking skills, the most valuable thing she offered was her friendship and the sharing of the mental load. For that time she was with us, I felt like I wasn't so alone, like I had an ally. I could let my guard down and let my brain take the night off because she was on top of everything! Changing the baby, serving dinner to my older two kids, reminding me to pump and even feed the dog! I wish we could have kept her forever! Thank you Lisa!

If you are searching for a post-partum doula, look no further than Lisa. I cannot recommend her enough or say enough good things. We initially hired her to be with us for a short time right after my daughter was born but we kept extending until baby was about 3 months old. I just could not let Lisa go! I still wish I could have her here with us.

I was a first time mom and did not realize how much support I would need. Not just physically but emotionally. I struggled with everything and Lisa always supported me. She never convinced me to do anything but helped guide me to make my own decisions and shared her own experiences to help me. I wanted to quit breastfeeding every day until 6 weeks and she always told me it was okay no matter what I decided. She always told me what a good mom I was when I needed to hear it. She made sure I was hydrated and fed. She loved my baby just like her own so I always felt good going to take a nap and leaving them together. She has endless knowledge about all of the things first time moms don't know and she has a great network in NDDA to ask anything she may not know. She just taught me so much that I will always carry with me. She let me text her questions after she was gone too.

She is also an AMAZING cook! Added bonus!

I had no idea how beneficial a post partum doula could be but every single mother should have one after having a baby no matter how much support you have. Lisa is the best of the best!

First off, I would recommend Lisa a hundred times over. If you're looking for someone who will care for your baby with the same love that you would (if only you had two more arms and infinite patience), then your search can be over.

Our experience was fantastic. Lisa provided post partum services over night for our twins for 6 weeks (4 weeks at first but we knew after the first week we needed her more). Despite not having experience with twins prior to us, Lisa was excited to dive headfirst into the work. Lisa seemed excited every night to see the girls, regardless of if they were both crying when she arrived or not. She was more than just an extra person to share the help though., her experience with young babies and her solid gut instinct (honed from years of Doula work no doubt) were invaluable during those first few weeks of our babies lives. Honestly, if he can get two fussy babies to sleep at the same time and feed them both at night without waking us up... What more do you need to know.

Sometimes you just need someone to hold your baby while you nap. That is helpful. But the best rest you'll ever have as a new parent is knowing that the person holding your baby is someone who truly wants your baby to be happy and feel loved just like you would.

Lisa was my postpartum doula when my son was born. Getting her help was simply the best decision I ever made!
she is a baby whisperer. She helped me overnights and she was able to get me the maximum amount of sleep I could possibly get. Because of her, my entire postpartum experience was off to a great start.
she is considerate, kind, very perceptive, and a clear communicator. She was able to clearly understand what I needed and help me exactly the way I wanted to be helped.
i highly recommend her and can say with confidence that you cannot go wrong when you choose her!

Lisa was such a peaceful addition to our home. She did everything–cooked, cleaned, baby-held, organized, etc.–there was nothing she could not do. During a very exhausting time she kept us sane. Not to mention she's empthatic, relatable, calming and just a lovely person to have around. And a bonus, she has great taste in music! All that to say, as a Mom it can sometimes be hard to ask for help. She never made me feel like I couldn't do it by myself, but rather she encouraged me and reminded me that I was doing a good job. Just having that motherly encounter was so comforting. As mama's, we tend to take care of everyone else, but it's important to have someone take care of us! And Lisa did just that. Never pushed herself on us, but was simply there to care of us, whatever it looked like that day.

Lisa is also well-connected. I had several questions arise, most of which she helped me answer, but if she didn't know the answer then she quickly connected me to a person that did. It was everything from a lactation consultant to installing carseats–and everyone was responsive and quick to jump in and help!

My birth was unexpectedly difficult, so in hindsight I'm so grateful that I had this relationship set up in advance. It alleviated a lot of the day-to-day stress of trying to manage a toddler and a newborn amidst trying to heal and give myself what I needed in order to function. If you're on the fence about whether or not you'll need postpartum care–DO IT. It's the best gift you'll ever receive.

Lisa came into our lives like Mary Poppins. Postpartum is such a challenge and my husband and I definitely felt like we were sinking. Lisa instantly made life run smoother. She was so sweet to our dog and took him on multiple walks for us. She made us delicious meals, folded our laundry, cleaned dishes and anticipated our needs. Lisa was a wonderful guide to new parents like ourselves without being pushy or opinionated. Lisa is amazing with our baby too. She is fabulous at comforting and soothing a fussy baby and is very supportive of helping with all feeding needs. I can’t recommend Lisa highly enough as a postpartum doula.

We are beyond blessed that Lisa Jones came into our lives! We do not live near family and Lisa became like a “surrogate” family member for us during the first few months post partum. My husband works a demanding job and Lisa agreed to be on call for us. She never let us down! She would come at 2pm or 2am to help this new mama. We had a lot of feeding difficulties and Lisa was there with supportive words, encouragement, and really good hugs. She is a wonderful cook and surprised us plenty of times with yummy meals. She was the second pair of hands i needed for laundry, dishes, etc. She always made sure I got in a little time for myself for a walk or a shower. We would not have made it without our sweet Lisa!

Lisa Jones was a Godsend for us after having our first son in December 2017. She was my postpartum doula and lactation consultant. She helped me gain back my confidence in my breastfeeding journey as well as in my role as first-time mama. She has such a nurturing and loving spirit and loving on new mamas and babies comes so natural to her. We are so grateful for her.
