I have nothing but good things to say  about Carmen Ramirez. She has such a peaceful energy that radiates through her beautiful work. Having her as my Doula was an absolute game changer for this pregnancy, which was my second. I honestly can't imagine getting through it like I did without her. Especially labor and delivery. When she walked in the hospital room doors I felt immediate relief. She helped me through one of the most difficult things I've ever done and I'll be forever grateful. After my daughter was born we cried and celebrated together. She not only helped me through my pregnancy and labor but she was also there for my partner. We both are very thankful for Carmen being such a huge part of our pregnancy journey.

I feel like my match with Carmen was made from someone who actually knows me. Either that or Carmen is just an amazing doula. She really listens to what you want to do with your birth plan while also giving you insight on other alternatives. I loved having Carmen through my pregnancy, I learned so many new things and I really feel like it made my pregnancy such a good one. Especially my birthing experience. I'm praying she's still doulaing for my next pregnancy.

This experience was so amazing. Carmen made me feel as if I were a family member, which calmed my soul as this was the most difficult pregnancy I had ever had. She was also able to pull my husband into better supporting me in breathing, in mindset, and touch. He loved it and it has given us a deeper connection. While I didn't get the complete experience because I ended up needing a planned C-section, 13 days early. I was on the other hand able to learn so much about my body and what things to focus on for future pregnancies, to keep myself and the baby at its best.

First I would like to say I had no idea what a Doula was... But once I met Carmen, I instantly connected with her. She let me know all that a doula does and made me feel comfortable about it all even with being in the middle of a pandemic (COVID-19)... before I started seeing Carmen I had Chronic Anxiety, Panic Attacks, Sleeplessness, Depression, Pain, Insecurity and I was Scared. By my second visit with Carmen none of those symptoms EXISTED! I was so comfortable with her, she always listened and assured me that things would get better. She showed me how to meditate and the importance of putting my baby first. She's AMAZING, Loving, Soft Spoken, Friendly, Humble and Very Kind Hearted. She made me feel like I  was Family. The only thing I regret that neither Carmen nor I had control over was having her in my delivery room,due to the pandemic she was not able to come per hospital regulations! BUT she offered to FaceTime/Text me and be there for me 100% Anytime I reached out to her she was RIGHT THERE with an immediate answer and advisory. She definitely went ABOVE AND BEYOND!She was very consoling and advised me with all the knowledge she had and was very helpful! It felt like she was right there next to me. Carmen is an Incredible Doula. I wish she was in my life sooner with my other 4 pregnancies! I recommend her, not only for her services...but also for her companionship, good heart and her ability to give you peace of mind.Thank you Carmen for all you have done. You took me through a tough patch in my life and I couldn't have done it without you! You helped me so much and gave me a great perspective of what life is all about in such a short period of time. I am grateful of your craft and the passion you have for all that you do. I am so sad that being a doula is only for pregnancy, BUT I gained an AMAZING friend and I feel so BLESSED to have you as a part of my life!Love You! I wish you all the success in your career and Blessings to your Family.

There are really no other experiences on this earth that are personal, scary, unknown and gratifying as child birth - meaning to say this is a big deal and you want to get the right person. I believe that there are certain people that are really naturally gifted and have the ability to channel that wisdom and Carmen is one of them. With that being said she's unobtrusive, supportive, knowledgeable and intuitive. She is exceptional, I would recommend her without reservation.

On my second child my neice introduced me to carmen, she was amazing, i've never had a doula before and because i wanted to have a smooth easy 9 months i agreed to meet with carmen. She helped me alot with what/how i should eat, if i can't sleep at night what i need to do to sleep, she gave me some point checks i think thats what they call them, i forgot the name, but after meeting with her a couple times, i was eating better, sleeping better. when it was time for the baby to come, she was right there by my side, she gave me bone broth to drink to keep me from being hungry while i was in labor. Thanks to her my baby came into this world after 2 hours of being in labor haha. carmen takes her time to understand you, your needs and your frustration it's hard out here to do it alone, my husband works at night and so he didn't pay attention to me much, because he was always tired. And so when carmen came into the picture it helped me get through the rest of the 7months in a blink. I am very thankful that i met her, i believe that every soon to be mother should get a doula, they're amazing, it helps alot to get through the 9 months fast. I 1000% recommend Carmen shes the best, thank you Carmen :-)

I met Carmen in one of my classes. She introduced herself and said she was a doula. This being my first pregnancy I had no idea what she was talking about to say the least. I think she knew I was freaking out about the pregnancy. She was so sweet and explained what a doula did and I almost cried. Just to hear that someone was here for me for anything was so wonderful. Sadly I had to stop going to school so I didn't get to see Carmen every Thursday, but she was always there. Anytime I had a question she was quick to answer either call, text or email. She would contact me just to see how I was doing and if I needed anything. She gave me great information when I was considering a C-section and induction. She was always giving me advice to talk to my doctor about and just there to lean on when my hormones we're crazy. I ended up being induced so Carmen came over the day before, we went over labor positions, what to bring in my bag and just to get ready for baby girl. The next day I went to the hospital for the start of the induction process. The next morning the nurse came in and asked if I wanted an epidural. I sent a text to my family and Carmen letting them know that I just got my epidural. Carmen came right over. With in 40 minutes of pushing, Carmen to my left and my husband to my right baby girl was here. It was so overwhelming. Then my family showed up and couldn't believe I had the baby already. They were sad they missed it and was just in shock how easy it was for me my first time. I truly believe that Carmen was the reason for my quick delivery. After I got out of the hospital Carmen came over to visit and kept in touch. If I had any questions about the baby she was there and is still there today. I would recommend a doula to everyone. If you get the chance to get Carmen she is a blessing.
