Janice was incredible. She spent extra time with us from the get-go explaining everything and really catering to what we needed. She brought some incredible accessories, tools, food, tea, knowledge, and most importantly Love. Having her and her teammate, Taylor was such a wonderful experience. My partner and I were both very nervous as it was our first birth, but heading to the hospital and having them as our additional family and support felt like we could conquer anything.

I would highly recommend and will definitely refer all friends and family to her.

Janice brought me much peace and comfort throughout the complications I experienced during my pregnancy journey. By sharing her knowledge, I was able to make informed decisions about how I wished for my birth experience to proceed. While working with Janice, I felt I regained some sense of control during a lengthy inpatient hospital stay prior to the birth of our daughter. I was terrified of going into labor when I was first admitted into the hospital months before her due date. Fortunately I carried my daughter long enough for her to be born healthy and thriving. Despite the health concerns we were facing, the labor and delivery of our baby was quick, went smoothly, and I was fearless and prepared. What could have become a traumatic birth story is instead a period of my life I overcame with strength and resilience.

Janice helping my wife with the labor and delivery process in many aspects, including massaging to help her relax, timely communicating with nurses and doctors about our preferences, working with doctors and nurses to help her push, having comforting music and aromatherapy, sharing with us some snacks and drinks. She also helped taking many pictures for us, which was definitely very memorable.

We strongly recommend Janice for ANYONE looking for a Doula. This was our first pregnancy and we couldn't ask for anyone better - she is calm and knowledgeable. She also is a great listener. She is able to tailor the experience based on your personal preferences. 

Janice offers a great deal of support during my labor, including massage, aromatherapy, little errands and photography. In addition, she knows all the magic labor positions and pain management tools. With her help and instructions, I was able to push my baby out around just one hour. 

Don't hesitate to book Janice as your Doula - you will be glad you did!

Janice is wonderful! I had a very traumatic home birth, my placenta had torn while giving birth. My son literally bled out and was born not breathing. My midwife was confused and ill prepared and thought it was me that was bleeding. Janice jumped into gear and had her do cpr. My midwife didn't want to call 911 right away and Janice knew exactly what to do. She took the initiative and saved my sons life. She is kind and caring and does her research for any situation. She continues to check in on us and has always made sure my son had the best after care. We love you Janice!

Janice was wonderful to work with. I felt like I had a connection with her the moment we met. I ended up having a scheduled c-section (my daughter was upside down :)) and she was there every step of the way. She asked the doctors and nurses all the right questions and really helped me stay at ease. She literaly set the mood in the room to calming and peaceful (which is not easy to do in a hospital room). She brought this calm and peace into the OR where she took beautiful photos for us so we can remember the exact moment our first daughter (first child) was brought into this world. She was also there for me after my daughter was born and my husband was with the nurses checking her out. She held my hand as they stitched me up (a very intense and emotional time for me) and it is something I will forever be grateful for as well as never forget. Janice then stayed for our golden hour and helped with latching and also helped with wrangling my wild and intense group of family and friends who had been eagerly awaiting to arrival of the first grandchild. She ensured we were ready for visitors and was a godsend through that process. Janice is a kind and wonderful human who I would very much recommend as a Doula.
